Many organizations have considered Business-to-Business(B2B) systems as major enablers to fundamentally change the way to manage their businesses. This research investigated the relationship between the benefits that organizations seek when they adopt B2B systems and their intention to use B2B system to improve business process. 77 questionnaires are collected and analyzed. Information intensity of the industry significantly affects on relationship between benefits of B2B systems and process improvement initiatives. Information intensity of the industry also affects on relationship between benefits of B2B systems and customer focus significantly.

The main purpose of this paper is to develop a Delphi Decision Support System based on the web, which can improve the conventional Delphi method. Among major drawbacks of the conventional Delphi methods are cost and efforts to distribute and collect the questionnaire by the regular mail and the tardiness in collecting, categorizing, analyzing, and reporting the result of the questionnaire. With the proposed Delphi Decision Support System, the moderator sends the e-mail to invite the member of panels so that they may visit the homepage of the Delphi Decision Support System. When the panelists input their opinions about the issues, the Delphi Decision Support System analyzes the inputs and reports the result without delay. To implement the Delphi Decision Support System, we integrated Microsoft SQL Server 6.5, jdbcKona/MS SQLServer4 JDBC driver, and Java Development Kit 1.2

정보시스템의 2000년 문제에 대한 국내기업의 전략적 대응 실증분석

Year 2000 (Y2K) is the global crisis in numbering systems that programers have to deal with. In this research, we introduce the formatting problems with Y2K, summarize the problem and its technical solutions. Then, we analyze the Korean companies' strategic preparation for Y2K projects. Major findings are summarized as follows: a) Although key factors to solve Y2K crisis are human resource, time, and cost, 51% of the respondents lacked funds and 29% of them haven't formed a solution team yet; b) IS departments want their top management to work toward a shared vision of Y2K within their organization; c) Although the banking industry is the leading industry in solving Y2K, their efforts to modify the applications are far behind the schedule so that they may not fix Y2K date problem on time; d) Although 52% of respondents use expansion to repair Y2K, 34% of them still select windowing, which needs an extra work to update the numeric fields in software applications between now and the year 2050 or so.

The quality of the wireless mobile Internet involves the information it supplies, the service it provides and the system itself. These qualities affect the user satisfaction. We investigated factors affecting the user satisfaction on the wireless mobile internet. The results of this study implicate that information qualities such as the informativeness and entertainment affect the user satisfaction. Not only system qualities such as the network time, network stability, easy of use but also service qualities such as the tangibility, reliability, assurance affect the user satisfaction. To satisfy the mobile Internet user, mobile internet providers should consider the qualities of the information quality, system quality and service quality.

토픽모델링과 소셜 네트워크 분석을 이용한 공급사슬관리 연구 탐색

We explored research dynamics in supply chain management(SCM) based on topic modeling and social network analysis. We used latent Dirichlet allocation for topic models and author co-citation analysis for social network analysis. We queried Web of Science database with ‘supply chain management’ and collected 10,538 research articles between 2002 and 2019. We used R program packages for topic modeling and CiteSpace for social network analysis. First, we explored how SCM research have developed in this period including publication trends, Web of Science categories, top 15 journals and research institutes. Second, we found 14 topics in supply chain management and identified three hot topics(Green SCM, Healthcare SCM, and Sustainable SCM) and three cold topics(Bullwhip Effect, Information Sharing, and Supply Chain Integration). Third, we examined the major researchers in SCM such as Sarkis J, Zhu QH, Gunasekaran A, and Seuring S and visualized the relationship among them with the author network. Fourth, we identified major keywords in SCM to represent the keyword network with the relationship among them. Performance is the most popular keyword. Inventory management and supplier-related words such as supplier development and supply evaluation stand next. Finally, conclusions and potential direction for further research were provided.

Patent Analysis in Assessing Supply Chain Management Innovation

Patent documents record the nature of the invention and the direction of the technological development. Patent analysis refers to statistical techniques used to examine the information contained in a patent document. In this study, we assessed patents on supply chain management(SCM) to examine the research and development for SCM. The search time starts from January 1st, 1999 to December 31st, 2012. One hundred and twenty patents on SCM were collected from KIPRIS(Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service) database. The research analyzed patent counts, inventor analysis, assignees analysis, and International Patent Classification(IPC) analysis. The result of this study indicated that the number of patents is increasing continuously and most patents are invented by multiple inventors with corporation assignees.

This study examined the factors that make Korean companies adopt supply chain management systems. By adding a group of inter-organizational factors, we extended an innovation-theory-based research model to study the information technology adoption. Sixty three questionnaires from 700 leading companies in Korea were collected and analyzed. Independent variables of the research included environmental, organizational, innovation, and relational characteristics. We found that supply chain management systems in Korean companies are at the initial stage of the adoption, in general. This research also found that company's environmental characteristics have insignificant relationship with the adoption of supply chain management systems. In addition, organizational characteristics (the support of top management, the size of organization, and the information technology infrastructure), innovation characteristics of the supply chain, and the power exercised over the supply chain played important roles in adopting supply chain management systems.
