Boom-Type Nozzle System의 분두배치(噴頭配置)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

우리나라에서 생산(生産)되고 있는 3종류(種類) Nozzle인 Disk형(型), Cap형(型), 그리고 Bolt형(型)을 Boom type nozzle system에 이용(利用)하는 경우에 가장 양호(良好)한 살포량(撒布量) 분포(分布)로 살포(撒布)할수 있는 적합(適合)한 분두간격(噴頭間隔)을 구연하기 위(爲)하여 분무(噴霧)높이 30cm, 40cm, 50cm와 분무압력(噴霧壓力) $2kg/cm^2$, $3kg/cm^2$, $4kg/cm^2$, $5kg/cm^2$, $6kg/cm^2$, $7kg/cm^2$, $8kg/cm^2$로 변화(變化)하면서 바람이 없는 실내실험(室內實驗)을 하였으며 이 분석결과(分析結果)를 기초로 하여 Boom상(上)의 적합(適合)한 분두간격(噴頭間隔)을 computer로 분석(分析)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 분무압력(噴霧壓力)에 의(依)한 살포량(撒布量) 분포(分布)의 균등계수(均等係數)는 분무압력(噴霧壓力)이 $5{\sim}6kg/cm^2$일 때 Nozzle A에서 80%, Noxxle C에서 83%로 컸으며 분무압력(噴霧壓力)이 $7kg/cm^2$일 때 Nozzle B에서 80%로 커TEk. 2. 분무(噴霧)높이에 의(依)한 살포량(撒布量) 분포(分布)의 균등계수(均等係數)는 Nozzle A에 있어서 40cm일 때 86%, 그리고 Nozzle A에 있어서 40츠일 때 86%, 그리고 Nozzle B와 C에 있어서는 50cm에서 80% 및 83%로 컸었다. 3. Boom상(上)의 Nozzle간격(間隔)은 작을수록 반포량(搬布量) 분포(分布)의 균등성(均等性)은 양호(良好)하였으나 작업성능(作業性能) 및 가격(價格)을 감안하여 살포건(撒布巾)의 반경(半徑)이 바람직하다고 사료(思料)된다. 4. 본(本) 실험(實驗)의 Nozzle들의 균등계수(均等係數)가 모두 90%이하(以下)로서 Boom type Nozzle로 사용시(使用時)에 개선(改善)이 요구(要求)된다. The proper nozzle spacings have been tried to determined the better evenness of distribution on the development of the boom type nozzle system with three nozzles made in Korea-disk type, cap type and bolt type. The operating pressure has been changed in 7 levels ($2kg/cm^2-8kg/cm^2$) and the operating height in 3 levels (30, 40, 50cm) to find characteristics of deposit pattern and the proper spacing of each nozzle was examined and computed. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The CU(%) of the deposit distribution was improved with the operating pressure of $5kg/cm^2$ or $6kg/cm^2$ in Nozzle A with 80% and Nozzle C with 83%, and $7kg/cm^2$in Nozzle B with 80% 2. The better deposit distribution was got ten at operating height 40cm with CU 86% in Nozzle A, and 50cm in both Nozzle B, C with 80% 3. The spray deposit distribution was getting of improvement with decrease of nozzle spacing, nevertheless about half diameter of the spraying circle was recommended in regard to the cost and the work performance. 4. Improvement of quality of nozzles tested in this research may be required not to be less than their CU 90% in the use as boom-type nozzle system.
Oleic Acid Incorporated Gemcitabine-Eluting Stents for Treatment of Cholangiocarcinoma

One of the major issues in cholangiocarcinoma (CC) treatment is bile duct occlusion-associated symptoms. As an alternative way of surgical excision of a CC, drug-eluting stents (DESs) have developed to treat both CC and occlusion. Gemcitabine (Gem) is effective for treatment of CC, however, it has limited applicability to use in DES because of its hydrophilic property. To solve these problems, we developed stent coating membrane (PTOA10-Gem) consisted of Gem, oleic acid (OA), and pellethane (PT). PTOA10-Gem membranes were additionally coated with PT to minimize rapid initial burst and washout of water-soluble Gem. OA was incorporated as a tissue penetration enhancer, and successfully achieved enhanced Gem penetration into cancer cell sheet (5.25-fold) and mouse skin (3- fold). Moreover, PTOA10-Gem led to dramatic decrease in tumor volume by 45% for 9 days. These findings suggest that the OA incorporated PT membrane is effective to improve a therapeutic efficacy of hydrophilic drug-eluting stents to treat CC, as well as other non-vascular cancers.
Polymeric materials for drug release system in drug eluting stents

Bare metal stents (BMSs) have been studied in the treatment of tubular organ occlusion, but restenosis remains a problem with this type of therapy. Drug eluting stents (DESs) were developed afterwards to treat and prevent re-stenosis. Clinical studied have proven the efficacy of DESs for the prevention of smooth muscle and cancer cell proliferations. Coating DESs with a polymer facilitates sustained drug release by diffusion, degradation, and osmosis. To control drug delivery in DESs, the drug and polymeric materials-including their physicochemical properties-must be taken into consideration. It is important to understand polymeric materials for the development drug delivery technologies. This review highlights the studies on drug delivery system based on polymeric material used in DESs and the role of polymeric materials in DESs for drug delivery.

Detachment rate of mature fruits of the Lycium chinense Mill with various frequency, amplitude, and shaking time using an experimental vibratory system was analyzed. The experimental vibratory system was designed such that the frequency, amplitude, and shaking time could be controlled easily. The detachment rate increased as the frequency increased at constant amplitude and increased as the amplitude increased at constant frequency. The contents of the detached immature fruit, however, also increased as the frequency and amplitude increased, which was undesirable for the detachment efficiency considering the only mature 900 rpm and amplitude of 35 m for the shaking time of three seconds.
Improvement of Intermittent Advancing Accuracy of Pneumatic Cylinder-Driven Roll Feeder

A proposed pneumatic cylinder-driven roll feeder and an air press were designed to be operated automatically by a PLC. The accuracy of the intermittent feed pitch of the roll feeder was evaluated by measuring lengths of cut-offs of a strip stock by a digimatic vernier caliper. At each predetermined feed pitch, the proposed roll feeder was tested 100 times by varying the feed/cut intervals as 2.0/1.5, 3.0/2.0, and 3.5/2.5 s as test sets. The lengths of the cutoffs of the strip stock ranged from 9.89-10.34, 12.1-12.65, and 15.21-15.67 mm at the predetermined 10, 12, and 15 mm feed pitch, respectively, among the total of 300 samples in each feed pitch, regardless of the feed/shear interval. Therefore, the feed/cut interval at each selected feed pitch was found to have no effect on the accuracy of the intermittent advancing of the strip stock.
