다중 컬러 공간과 두 대의 카메라를 이용한 손 인식 기반 핸드 마우스 구현

손의 동작을 인식하여 콘텐츠와 인터랙션 할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 단일 컬러 공간에서 손 영역을 인식하는 경우 피부색과 유사한 배경색의 존재 유무에 따라 배경과 손을 정확하게 구별할 수 없는 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 웹 카메라와 적외선 카메라를 사용하는 손 인식 방법을 제안하고 이를 이용한 핸드 마우스 어플리케이션을 구현한다. 제안하는 방법에서는 웹 카메라로 입력된 영상을 RGB 공간과 HSV 공간에서 순차적으로 필터링 하여 피부색 영역을 검출한다. 또한 적외선 카메라로 입력된 영상으로부터 적외선 카메라 앞에 있는 물체로부터 반사되어 돌아오는 적외선의 상대적인 깊이정보를 사용하여 손 영역을 검출한다. 마지막으로 이상에서 추출된 피부색 영역과 손 영역의 교집합을 구함으로써 피부색과 유사한 배경색으로 부터 입력 받고자 하는 손 영역을 분리한다. 제안하는 방법의 성능을 확인하기 위하여 붉은색 상의를 입고 손을 가슴 앞쪽에 위치시킨 후 핸드 마우스 어플리케이션을 사용하였다. 실험 결과 웹 카메라만 사용할 경우 손 영역 추출이 어려웠으나 제안한 방법에 기반한 핸드 마우스 어플리케이션을 이용할 경우 윈도우 상의 인터넷 익스플로러를 정확하게 제어할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 개발된 핸드 마우스 어플리케이션은 IPTV나 박물관 등에 전시될 인터랙티브 콘텐츠에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In recent years an enhanced user interface for human-content interaction by hand gesture recognition has gained attention. However in the case of the recognition in a single color space it is not simple to accurately extract a hand from its background. In this paper we propose a hand recognition method using an infrared camera and a web camera and we implement a hand mouse application based on the proposed hand recognition method. The proposed method sequentially performs color filtering in HSV after in RGB color space with the input image from the web camera and detects skin regions. In addition it extracts and utilizes the relative depth information from the image captured by the infrared camera to detect hand regions. Finally the method extracts a hand region from its background containing colors similar to the skin color by computing the common region of the extracted skin and hand regions. For experimental tests we test the hand mouse application with wearing a red shirt and positioning hand in front of our chest. As a result we found that it is hard to extract the exact hand region from our shirt when we use only a web camera but that we can control Internet Explorer with the hand mouse application when we use both an infrared camera and a web camera. We believe that the hand mouse application can be applied to the interactive contents in IPTV or museum.

이 연구는 모바일 비즈니스의 진화과정과 환경변화를 다각적이고 복합적으로 분석하여 향후 모바일콘텐츠 비즈니스의 진화방향을 예측함과 동시에 성공적인 전략을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 결론적으로 모바일콘텐츠(MC) 비즈니스 모델은 세대를 거듭해가면서 영역이 확대되고, 그에 따른 사업자의 진출도 늘어남에 따라 복합적이고 다각적으로 변해가면서 새로운 비즈니스 전략과제를 제시하고 있는데, 첫째, 고객접근성을 강화해야 하며, 둘째, 감성적으로 접근해야 하며, 개방적인 비즈니스 모델이 필요하다. 넷째, 소비자의 니즈를 반영한 콘텐츠의 기획 및 제작이 필요하며, 다섯째, 모바일플랫폼 선도형 콘텐츠군의 개발과 CP의 비즈니스모델 다양화가 요구된다. 산업정책 차원에서는 모바일콘텐츠 산업의 지속적인 발전을 위해서 단기적이고 단면적인 정책이 아닌, 지속가능한 미래 지향적인 정책이 마련되어야 한다. 건전하고 활기찬 모바일콘텐츠 생태계 조성을 위해서 정부와 규제기구는 모바일콘텐츠 시장의 주도자이기보다는 환경 조성자 역할에 충실하는 것이 바람직하다. 즉, 시장의 원활한 작동을 위한 기본적인 제도와 질서를 형성하고 관리하는데 주력해야 할 것이다. The study aims to anticipate evolution direction of mobile content business in the future, and derive successful strategies at the same time with multiple and composite analysis of evolution process and environmental change of mobile business. In conclusion, Firstly, it should strengthen customer approach performance, secondly, approaches with sensitively, and needs opened business model. Fourthly, it needs planning and production of contents which reflects the need of customers, and fifthly, it requires development of mobile platform leading contents group and multiplication of CP business model. In the aspect of industrial policy, sustainable and future-oriented policy should be arranged rather than short-term and simple police, for the continual development of mobile content industry. To establish healthy and active mobile contents industry, the government and regulatory institutes are more preferable to devote to the role of circumstance builder rather than the leader of mobile content market. In other words, they are recommended to focus on establishing basic regulation and order for smooth operation of the market and its management.

뉴미디어 플랫폼 확산이 콘텐츠 창작 및 유통시장에 미치는 영향 분석

본 연구는 뉴미디어 플랫폼이 콘텐츠산업의 창작과 유통에 미치는 영향을 시장상황 분석 및 전문가 진단을 통해 실제적으로 규명해내는데 목표를 두었다. 콘텐츠산업의 현실진단을 위해서 시장분석과 업계 종사자 및 관련 전문가를 대상으로 한 심층면접 방법을 활용하였다. 진단결과, 다양한 뉴미디어 플랫폼의 상용화가 국내 콘텐츠산업의 창작 활성화 및 유통구조 합리화를 충분히 견인하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 국내의 콘텐츠창작 분야는 유통채널의 증가에도 불구하고 새로운 포맷의 다양한 콘텐츠 생산이 활성화되지 못하고 있다. 또한 기존의 인기콘텐츠를 생산하는 소수의 거대 창작업체에 플랫폼 다양화의 혜택이 집중되고 있고, 창작업체의 영세성이 극복되지 못한 가운데 양극화가 심화되고 있는 것으로 분석된다. 콘텐츠유통 분야의 경우 유통되는 콘텐츠는 기존의 인기콘텐츠가 대부분이며, 불공정한 콘텐츠거래관행이 지속되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현실적 문제들을 개선하기 위한 혁신적 정책이 요구되는데, 문화콘텐츠산업 생태계가 선순환구조를 형성하도록 조정 역할을 수행해야 한다는 것이다. We consider a Direct Input Output Manufacturing System(DIOMS) which has a number of machine centers placed along a built-in Automated Storage/Retrieval System(AS/RS). The Storage/Retrieval (S/R) machine handles parts placed on pallets for the operational aspect of DIOMS and determines the optimal operating policy by combining computer simulation and genetic algorithm. The operational problem includes: input sequencing control, dispatching rule of the S/R machine, machine center-based part type selection rule, and storage assignment policy. For each operating policy, several different policies are considered based on the known research results. In this paper, using the computer simulation and genetic algorithm we suggest a method which gives the optimal configuration of operating policies within reasonable computation time.
