직결장암 환자에서 Bevacizumab에 의한 단백뇨 발현과 치료효과와의 상관관계 분석

Background: Bevacizumab-induced proteinuria is known to occur when vascular endothelial cell receptors are blocked, which leads to decreased protein filtration. Although several studies have analyzed the correlation between therapeutic effect of bevacizumab and proteinuria, no conclusion has been established. Methods: In this retrospective study, colorectal cancer patients who received bevacizumab and urinary protein check from January 2015 to December 2016, were included. The incidence of proteinuria and the grade according to Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) 4.0 were evaluated after bevacizumab administration. The primary objective was to correlate proteinuria with overall response rate (ORR) and time to progression (TTP). Primary lesion, metastasized organs, surgery or radiation therapy, chemotherapy were investigated for analysis of risk factors for proteinuria development. Results: A total of 149 patients included in the analysis. Proteinuria occurred 19.5% (n=29) in the study patients; 20 in grade 1, 7 in grade 2, and 2 in grade 3. ORR was 55.2% in the proteinuria group and 51.7% in the non-proteinuria group. There was no difference between two groups (p=0.89). The TTP through the survival curve was similar in both groups (10 months, p=0.97). The risk of proteinuria was high in patients who had liver metastasis (p=0.02) and no surgery (p=0.01). Conclusions: These result indicates that bevacizumab-induced proteinuria expression was not correlated with the therapeutic effect on patients with colorectal cancer. Further analysis is required to find out the correlation between proteinuria and therapeutic effects. The risk of proteinuria was increased from patients who had liver metastasis, and no surgery.

금년 여름에는 동서고압대와 평년보다 발달한 북태평양고기압의 영향으로 평균기온이 평년보다 높았던 날이 92일 중 81일로 더운 날이 장기간 지속되었다. 강수량은 710㎜로 평년(699.7㎜)과 비슷하였으나 (평년대비 101.5%), 강수일수는 44.2일로 평년(36.8일)보다 7.4일 많아 1973년 이래 4번째로 많았다.
One-Pot Synthesis of Bicyclic Polystyrene by Combination of ATRP and Click Chemistry

A series of bicyclic polystyrenes of different molecular weights was synthesized in one-pot by atom transfer radical polymerization followed by click chemistry. The bicyclic polystyrenes were formed simultaneously with branched polystyrene impurities due to side reactions during click coupling. The pure bicyclic polystyrenes were obtained by selective precipitation. The purity of bicyclic polystyrenes before purification was determined by Gaussian multiple peak fitting from SEC trace. The bicyclic polymers were characterized by SEC, 1H NMR, and FTIR spectroscopy.
금속층 두께에 따른 ITO/Ag/ITO 다층 투명 전극의 발열 특성 연구

In this study, we investigated the optical, electrical and exothermic characteristics of ITO/Ag/ITO multilayer structures prepared with various Ag thicknesses on quartz and PI substrates. The transparent conducting properties of the ITO/Ag/ITO multilayer films depended on the thickness of the mid-layer metal film. The ITO/Ag (14 nm)/ITO showed the highest Haccke’s figure of merit (FOM) of approximately 19.3×10–3 Ω-1. In addition, the exothermic property depended on the substrate. For an applied voltage of 3.7 V, the ITO/Ag (14 nm)/ITO multilayers on quartz and PI substrates were heated up to 110℃ and 200℃, respectively. The bending tests demonstrated a comparable flexibility of the ITO/Ag/IT multilayer to other transparent electrodes, indicating the potential of ITO/Ag/ITO multilayer as a flexible transparent conducting heater.
