        보령 지역의 산간 계류에서 식물플랑크톤의 계절 변화

        The seasonal changes of the phytoplankton in the mountainous streams around Boryong were investigated at the four stations from May 1995 to November 1996. A total of 146 phytoplankton species were identified, of which most of them belonged to the diatoms and the green algae. The mean standing crops of phytoplankton was high with 1,725 cells/ml in May and 1,064 cells/ml in July 1996, of which the diatom standing crops was the highest. Cymbella tumida, Melosira varians, Navicula viridula, and Synedra ulna predominated in the mountainous streams around Boryong and showed an unimodal pattern in the seasonal changes of standing crop. Our results show that a typical phytoplankton community of the mountainous streams occurs in the streams around Boryong.

        한국산 홍조 (紅藻) Spyridia 속 2종에 관하여

        Two Korean species of Spyridia J. Agardh are investigated taxonomically. Spyridia filamentosa (Wulfen) Harvey collected at Wando-Islands in the southern coast is characterized by its regularly arranged internodal and nodal cells. S. elongata Okamura collected at Kangreung in the eastern coast is characterized by its irregularly arranged internodal cells and small fusiform branches around the axis. The latter species, collected for the first time in Korea, is very similar to S. squalida J. Agardh from the Southern Australia. Some important taxonomic characters of the two species are summarized.

        Reexamination of the genus Pterocladiella (Gelidiaceae, Rhodophyta) in Korea based on morphology and rbcL sequences

        Although Pterocladiella is a well-known agar-producing red algal genus, its taxonomy in Korea appears to be confused. In the present study, we demonstrate the occurrence of Pterocladiella nana and P. tenuis, as well as P. capillacea in Korea on the basis of morphological and plastid rbcL sequence comparisons. P. capillacea commonly occurs along the coasts of Korea and has regular pinnate branches with abundant second-order branches, growing up to 10 cm in length. P. nana occurs in the intertidal zone of Jeju and is distinguished by the small size of its thalli (up to 5 cm) and regular branches with up to third-order branches. P. tenuis is distributed mostly subtidally on the southern coast of Jeju and has irregular branches with rarely second-order branches, growing up to 19 cm in length. We determined rbcL sequences from 19 specimens (15 from Korea and four from France) and downloaded 28 sequences from GenBank. Analyses of all 47 rbcL sequences revealed that each of three species was consistently resolved. P. capillacea and P. tenuis always formed a sister clade with P. nana at the base. Given that 12 rbcL haplotypes from 28 specimens of P. capillacea have been found to date, analysis of a fast-evolving gene from across the range of the species should highlight its genetic diversity.

        체육과 TGT 협동학습 전략이 중학생의 정의적 영역에 미치는 효과 분석

        This study was conducted to investigate the effect of physical education and TGT cooperative learning on development on affective domain of middle school students. To attain this point, targeting the second grade of Y middle school in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, while tee ball lesson applying traditional class was carried out in three classes, tee ball lesson applying TGT cooperative learning was carried out in the other three classes fifteen times. The affective domain(the attitude in gym class, sociality, self-efficacy) of all students was investigated through the preliminary examination before tee ball lesson, and post-inspection was carried out after implementing traditional class and TGT cooperative learning of fifteen times. Independent t-test was carried out to input data by using SPSS program in order to investigate the homogeneity of preliminary examination and difference of post-inspection, and Paired sample t-test was carried out in order to verify the significance between preliminary examination and post-inspection within the group after applying TGT cooperative learning, and the results are as follows. First, the experimental group to which TGT cooperative learning was applied scored higher than the comparative group to which traditional class was applied on the attitude in gym class. This shows that TGT cooperative learning has a major impact on the attitude in gym class. Second, the experimental group to which TGT cooperative learning was applied scored higher than the comparative group to which traditional class was applied on the sociality of middle school students. This has found that TGT cooperative learning has a major impact on the sociality of middle school students, but it doesn't have significant impact upon cooperativity of female students of subordinate factors of sociality. Thirdly, he experimental group to which TGT cooperative learning was applied scored higher than the comparative group to which traditional class was applied on the self-efficacy. This shows that TGT cooperative learning has a major impact upon the self-efficacy of middle school students. 이 연구는 체육과 TGT 협동학습이 중학생의 정의적 영역 발달에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 체육수업에 대한 긍정적인 태도 형성 및 정의적 목표 성취를 위한 체육 교수학습 방법을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 Y시 중학교 2학년 3개 반을 대상으로 TGT 협동학습(15차시)을 적용하여 티볼 수업을 하였다. 반면에 3개 반은 전통적 수업을 적용하여 티볼 수업을 하였다. 이처럼 체육수업에 참여한 중학교 207명을 대상으로 체육수업태도, 자아효능감, 사회성 등 정의적 영역 발달에 대한 설문지를 통해 조사하고 SPSS(version 12.0) 프로그램을 이용한 대응표본 t검정(Paired sample t-test)을 하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 중학생의 체육수업에 대한 태도는 전통적인 수업을 적용한 통제집단보다 TGT 협동학습 수업을 적용한 실험집단에서 더 많은 평균 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 중학생의 사회성은 전통적인 수업을 적용한 통제집단보다 TGT 협동학습 수업을 적용한 실험집단이 더 많은 평균의 차이를 나타냈지만, 사회성의 하위 요인 중에서 여학생의 협동성에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 셋째, 중학생의 자아효능감은 전통적인 수업을 적용한 통제집단에 비해 TGT 협동학습을 적용한 실험집단이 더 많은 평균의 차이가 나타났다.

      • 금강 하구호 나포에서 식물플랑크톤 수직분포의 일변화

        Daily vertical distribution of phytoplankton was investigated during some blue-green algal blooming in Napo, Kumgang river in September, 1999. The surface water temperature was in a range of 28.8℃ (at 16:00) - 27.3℃ (noon). Although there few changes in the concentration of nitrite (0.062±0.002 - 0.064±0.001 mgN/ℓ) and nitrate (1.770±0.046 - 1.823±0.075 mgN/ℓ), ammonium ranged from 0.230±0.042 mgN/ℓ to 0.180±0.046 mgN/ℓ. Phosphate concentration ranged from 1.227±1.685 mgP/ℓ to 0.530±0.691 mgP/ℓ. Based on cell counting, the Bacillariophyceae and Chlorophyceae moved up and down along water column markedly. This result indicates that daily vertical distribution of planktonic green algae and diatoms may be determined by light rather than nutrients. The Cyanophyceae showed the highest standing crops and almost aggregated to the upper regions of water column throughout day. Of the blue-green algae, Microcystis species were very abundant in every sampling. It is probable that the cells of Microcystis species are covered with mucilage and readily floating compared to other filamentous species.

      • 대전시로 유입되는 유등천에서 주요 부착 규조류의 개체수 변화

        In order to evaluate the water quality of Yudeungchon, Daejon, eight species of eqilithic diatoms were investigated for seasonality in 16 sites. Field survey was carried out at bimonthly intervals in 1993. Achnanthes convergens and Nitzschia palea predominated throughout the year wlth a high abundance in the downstream in August. A. minutissima, Cymbella minuta, Diatoma vulgare and Gomphonema qudripunctatum predominated in the cold season. Fragilaria vaucheriae predominated in the mid-downstream in February. Cocconeis placentula predominated in June. This results suggests that Yudeungchon is scarcely contaminated by organic pollutants.

        한국산 홍조 (紅藻) Antithamnionella miharae ( Tokida ) Itono

        Antithamnion miharae(Tokida) Itono was investigated in field and laboratory culture. The plant grows in lower littoral zone through out the year in Korea. The gland cells occur scarcely or commonly according to the populations, but the terminal hairs in the female plants are not observed. The structure of vegetative thallus and the reproductive organs in culture are similar to those of field materials, except for the number of gonimoblasts, wich become five to six in contrast to one to three of the field. A typical Polysiphonia-type life history is repeated in culture. This species which produces tetrahedral tetrasporangia is markedly distinguished from Antithamnion glandulifera sensu Kylin (=Antithamnionella glandulifera (Kylin) Wollaston) which produces cruciate tetrasporangia, while the plants reported by Dawson (1962) and Wollaston(1971) as A. glandulifera seem to be conspecific with A. miharae by the fact that they have the tetrahedral tetrasporangia in stead of cruciate ones.

        한국산 은방울꽃 ( Convallaria majalis ) 의 형태적 특징과 핵형분석

        Morphology and karyotype of Korean Convallaria majalis plants were observed for taxonomic studies. Most plants produced two leaves(70%) and some one leaf(30%), but rarely three leaves. Plant length averaged 34.4±4.6㎝. Percentage of plants bearing flowers was very low with 3.7% (n=1.346) in the field. Raceme usually grew below leaves and rarely grew over leaves. Plant beared five to ten flowers on a single raceme. Chromosomes were x=19 and diploidy with 2n=38. The chromosomes were composed of 13 pairs of median and 6 pairs of submedian chromosomes. The number of chromosome and karyotype of Korean C. majalis plant agree with those of Japanese and European plants. [Convallaria majalis, chromosome, karyotype, morphological variation, taxonomy].
