Fourteen cases of multiple myeloma were diagnosed in Chonbuk National University Hospital in the past five and a half years. Follow up studies were in eight of these cases. The results are as follows. For patients whose blood urea concentration (BUC) at presentation was aboove 40mg/100ml, meansurvival time was 11 months. For patients whose BUC below 40mg/ml, mean survival time was 32.6 months. The mean survival time was adversely affected by azotemia

Sixty-nine cases of acute myocardial infarction were studied clinically at the Jeonbug National University Hospital the period five years, from Januarym, 1975 to December, 1979. 1. The incidence of the acute myocardial infardtion(69 cases) among the total medical inpatient(17,223) was 0.40% and the ratio of male to female was 4.8:1. 2. The acute myocardial infarction showed the peak incidence of age in their fifties, and over four-fifths of patients were between fifth and seventh decade in ages. 3. The major symptoms of acut myocardial infarction were precordial or epigastric pain(67%), dyspnea(55%), cough and sputum(28%), nausea and vomiting(19%) and palpitation(18%) in frequency. 4. Labolatory findings were leukocytosis(66%), increased LDH(82%), increased SGOT(57%) and increased cholesterol(36.8%). 5. The anterior wall infarction was 62.3% of all cases, inferior wall 24.6%, and anterior-inferior wall 3 cases. 6. Arrhythmias were showed in 52% of all cases with sinus tachycardia, premature ventricular contraction and sinus bradycardia in frequenency. 7. The mortality rate of 69 cases with acute myocardial infarction was 20.3%. The ominous factors influencing the prognosis were age of over 60, sex of famale, inferior wall infarction and shock. 8. The incidence of the acute myocardial infarction among the total medical inpatients has increased year by year.

The SGOT/SGPT ratios were observed in 174 cases of various histologic types of hepatoma confirmed by needle biopsy, consisted of 164 cases of primary hepatoma and 10 cases of metastatic adenocarcinoma during the period of about 4 years from Jan. 1976 to Dec. 1979 in Jeon Bug National University Hospital and Jeon Ju Presbyterian Medical Center. The results were as follows: 1. Ratio of primary hepatoma to metastatic adenocarcinoma was lg.4: 1 and ratio of hepa- tocellular carcinoma to cholangiocarcinoma was 18. 6: I. Histologic types of primary hepatic carcinoma showed 153 cases(93.3%) of hepatocellular carcinoma, 8 cases(4.9%) of cholangiocarcinoma, 2 cases(I.2%) of hepatoblastoma and a case of mixed type. 2. Sex ratios(man to woman) were 4. 7: 1 in primary hepatoma group, 4. 1: 1 in metastatic adenocarcinoma group, 4. 5: 1 in hepatocellular carcinoma group and 7: 1 in cholangiocarcin- oma group. In hepatocellular carcinoma group, the most frequent decade was 6 th, 5 th, and 7 th decade in order(The mean age was 50. 7 years). In cholangiocarcinoma group, the age distribution was peak in 4th decade(Mean age was 56. 2 years) 4 Mean values of SGOT and SGPT were 98.4 and 50.6 Karmen unit respectively in primary hepatoma group. The SGOT/SGPT ratio was l. 93>0. 48 in primary hepatoma group. 5 In metastatic adenocarcinoma group, mean values of SGOT and SGPT were 48 and 49 Karmen unit respectively and the SGOT/SGPT ratio was 0. 97. 6, None of the metastatic adenocarcinoma patients had above 13 gm% of hemoglobin. But 9.2% of primary hepatocellular carcinoma patients showed over 15. 5 gm% of hemoglobin. 7 Alkaline phosphatases in primary hepatoma group and metastatic adenocarcinoma group were 3. 7 times(8. 66 Bessay-Lowry unit) and 4. 2 times(9. 87 Bessey-Lowry unit) as normal values respectively.
후륜구동 고급승용차량의 구동계 NVH 개발에 관한 연구

Many automotive companies have adopted rear wheel driveline system into their premium grade luxury sedans in order to achieve better driving dynamics and comfortable ride & handling. However, in terms of NVH performance, rear wheel driveline system usually raises more driveline related NVH issues than front wheel driveline system. NVH engineers have been trying their best efforts to solve the driveline NVH problems. In this paper, the study on the contribution of each component and system to various driveline NVH issues occurred in the premium luxury sedan with rear wheel driveline system was carried out. The source and the transmission route of the high speed booming and vibration caused by the imbalance of the driveline were investigated. Also, the analytical and experimental studies were carried out in order to find out the main factors that cause unusual vibration during acceleration from a stop. As a result, the countermeasures and solutions to improve the driveline NVH issues are derived. The derived optimal design solutions were verified their effectiveness by using a mass production vehicle and contributed to achieve the NVH luxuriousness of the luxury sedan with rear wheel driveline.
