In recent years, laser-arc hybrid welding has begun to be adopted for assembly welding of automotive bodies and parts, because hybrid welding process can weld lapped steel sheets that have a lager pap than is possible with laser welding. But if the gap is wide, burn-through occurs, and, if the gap is excessive, the two sheets cannot be welded together. For this reason, the gap is very important for hybrid welding. In this paper, to predict the twist deformation by hybrid welding when brackets are welded in B pillar of passenger car, the residual stress using CAE is analyzed and the deformation results of CAE is compared with welded panel.

The effect of chemical compositon on the microstructural change and tensile property in TRIP-assisted steels with different chemical composition was investigated by using SEM, TEM, XRD and UTM. As a result of microscopic observation, the morphology of retained austenite could be identified as two types : a granular type in a steel containing higher Si and a film type in a steel having higher C. For the case of higher C-containing steel with a tensile strength of 860 ㎫ and a total elongation of 38%, film-typed retained austenite could be observed between lath bainitic ferrite. Actually, metastable retained austenite was a requisite for the good formability, which means that chemical composition plays a significant role in the microstructure and tensile property of TRIP-assisted steels. With respect to tensile property, the steels containing suitable Si and Mn, respectively, showed a typical TRIP effect in stress-strain curve, while a steel containing higher Mn content exhibited the as similar behavior shown in dual phase steel.

N/A We obserbed 24 cases of tsutsugamushi disease occur- ring in the Gang-Won-Do area from September to October 1988, which were confirmed by indirect immunofluorescent antibody test, and analysed their clinical findings. On physical examination eschars which can be a clinical clue to tsutsugamushi disease in the early stage of infection were recorded in 11 cases (45%). Common laboratory features included thrombocytopenia in 19 cases (95/o), and increased SGOT in 22 cases (92%), SGPT in 49 cases (79%), LDH in 19 out of 20 cases (95%) tested, CK in 7 out of 20 cases (35%) tested and serum ADA level in 12 of 13 cases (92%) tested. Serum fibrinogen was decreased in 5 of 13 cases (38%) tested, FDP was positive in 8 of 13 cases (62%) tested and prolonged prothrombin time was observed in 9 cases (38%). When IgM and IgG titers were measured separately, two distinct responses were seen. The IgM titers gradually declined during the period from 14-40 days. The IgG responses in the same patients developed more slowly. In our study, tsutsugamushi disease was a mild to severe febrile illness of 1 to 2 weeks duration. We think that more concern about tsutsugamushi disease is necessary because of possible mortality in poorly treated cases as well as a need for more precise differential diagnosis of acute febrile illness.
