Dimensions of learning, based on the vast studies on teaming psychology and teaming processes, have been played an important role as one of the frameworks of curriculum and teaming strategies. Dimensions of Learning consist of 5 Dimensions, each of 'Attitudes and Perceptions', 'Acquire and Integrate Knowledge', 'Extend and Refine Knowledge', 'Use Knowledge Meaningfully', 'Habits of Mind'. And each dimension has $3\~8$ lower categories in itself, The elementary 5th grade science lesson emphasizing upon Dimensions of Learning was developed in this study. The lessons dealt with almost every lower categories of Dimensions of learning. We analysed students' scientific attitude and scientific achievement quantitatively after the lesson emphasized upon Dimensions of Learning in comparison with typical lesson laying stress on teachers' guides. The results are as follows; Students' scientific attitude was significantly changed after the lesson emphasized upon Dimensions of Learning. The willingness, positiveness, straightforwardness, and openness of lower categories of students' scientific attitude were more significantly changed especially. But students' scientific achievement was not significantly changed after the lesson emphasized upon Dimensions of Learning.
머신비전을 이용한 PWM Shaft의 자동검사 시스템 개발

In this paper, in order to overcome shortcomings of manual inspection for the automotive PWM Shaft, we developed an automated inline inspection system. The automated inline inspection system consists of the work feeder unit, conveying unit, outer diameter check unit, run-out and roundness check unit, machine vision, defective separation unit and status alarm unit. We used the machine vision system for automatic inspection process and designed the inline systems for automatic feeding and selecting process. Also the repeated operation test was performed in order to verify the precision and reliability of the proposed automated inline inspection system.

N/A Effects of Si and Ni addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Cu-12wt.%Al-5wt.%Fe-1wt.%Mn alloy have been investigated experimentally. Microstructure of the as-cast specimen is found to be refined markedly by additions of Ni and Si. By the addition of Ni, volume fraction of the k phase is increased, but volume fraction of the y phase is decreased. Hardness is increased with the addition of Ni, due to increasing of k phase which is harder than y phase. However, Charpy impact value is not significally decreased possibly due to the formation of isolate k phase. (Received February 19, 1998)

A 36-year-old woman with an unremarkable medical history presented for laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Routine preoperative assessment of the patient`s airway revealed normal jaw opening. Upon induction of anesthesia, her jaw locked in a nearly closed position. X-ray and MRI of the temporomandibular joints that were taken postoperatively showed normal findings except for the steeper posterior angles of the articular eminences. During the next induction of anesthesia, intubation was readily accomplished by opening the mandible with a forward pulling of the chin. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2006; 51: 738~41)
생물 야외 탐구 프로그램이 예비 초등교사의 진화 개념과 인식, 멸종위기종 보전에 대한 지식, 인식, 태도에 미치는 영향 -정량적 연구 -

The purpose of this study was to analyze quantitatively the effects of the biology field-trip inquiry program on elementary pre-service teachers’ evolution related concept, perception and endangered species conservation related knowledge, awareness and attitude. The study subjects were 25 students, one class of science education department of B National University of Education. The biology field-trip inquiry program was consist of 3 steps. The first step was the preactivity at university, second was the main field work at Upo wetland, and the last third step was the post-activity including additional experiments, writing final report. The results of this study were as follows. First, the biology field-trip inquiry program influenced highly significantly the improvement of elementary pre-service teachers’ evolution related concept and influenced significantly those of evolution related perception partly. And the numbers of elementary preservice teachers to acquire precise definition of evolution increased after the biology field-trip inquiry program. Second, the biology field-trip inquiry program significantly improved the elementary pre-service teachers’ endangered species conservation related knowledge, awareness, but did not influenced significantly pre-service teachers’ endangered species conservation related attitude.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of science lesson applying STEAM education on the creative thinking activities and emotional intelligence of elementary school students. The study subjects were two classes of the 3th grade of S elementary school in B Metropolitan City. One class including 26 students was experimental group and the other including 27 students was comparison group. For the purpose of study, the lesson unit ‘The world of animals’ was practised, the reorganized unit applying STEAM was applied to experimental group, whereas comparison group was taught traditional science lesson. The results of this study were as follows. First, the science lesson applying STEAM education influenced significantly the improvement of the creative thought activities of elementary school students. Second, the science lesson applying STEAM education influenced significantly the improvement of the emotional intelligence of elementary school students.
