Dimensions of learning, based on the vast studies on teaming psychology and teaming processes, have been played an important role as one of the frameworks of curriculum and teaming strategies. Dimensions of Learning consist of 5 Dimensions, each of 'Attitudes and Perceptions', 'Acquire and Integrate Knowledge', 'Extend and Refine Knowledge', 'Use Knowledge Meaningfully', 'Habits of Mind'. And each dimension has $3\~8$ lower categories in itself, The elementary 5th grade science lesson emphasizing upon Dimensions of Learning was developed in this study. The lessons dealt with almost every lower categories of Dimensions of learning. We analysed students' scientific attitude and scientific achievement quantitatively after the lesson emphasized upon Dimensions of Learning in comparison with typical lesson laying stress on teachers' guides. The results are as follows; Students' scientific attitude was significantly changed after the lesson emphasized upon Dimensions of Learning. The willingness, positiveness, straightforwardness, and openness of lower categories of students' scientific attitude were more significantly changed especially. But students' scientific achievement was not significantly changed after the lesson emphasized upon Dimensions of Learning.
머신비전을 이용한 PWM Shaft의 자동검사 시스템 개발

In this paper, in order to overcome shortcomings of manual inspection for the automotive PWM Shaft, we developed an automated inline inspection system. The automated inline inspection system consists of the work feeder unit, conveying unit, outer diameter check unit, run-out and roundness check unit, machine vision, defective separation unit and status alarm unit. We used the machine vision system for automatic inspection process and designed the inline systems for automatic feeding and selecting process. Also the repeated operation test was performed in order to verify the precision and reliability of the proposed automated inline inspection system.
Tracking Algorithm Based on Moving Slide Window for Manuevering Target

본 논문에서는 이동 창 함수 추적기라는 새로운 추적 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 이동표적의 궤적을 효율적으로 추정하기 위해 과거 궤적의 정보를 포함하는 이동 구간이 선형이라는 가정을 한 선형 창 함수를 적용하여 구현한다. 제안된 알고리즘의 창 함수의 파라메터는 측정 잡음의 영향을 줄이기 위해 그리고 알파-베터 추적기와 비교하여 더 적은 계산량 증가로 빠른 이동 표적 추적을 구현하기 위해 적절하게 선택할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 창 함수 추적기를 검증하기 위해 잡음상황에서 선형과 비선형 궤적에 대한 컴퓨터 모의실험을 수행했다. 또한 제안된 창 함수 추적기는 초기값에 대한 둔감한 특성과 예측할 수 없는 시변 측정 환경에서 창 함수 추적기를 사용할 경우 더 높은 자유도를 가짐을 보였다. In this paper, we propose a novel tracking algorithm called slide window tracker (SWT) suitable for maneuvering target. To efficiently estimate trajectory of moving target, we adopt a sliding piecewise linear window which includes past trace information. By adjusting the window parameters, the proposed algorithm is to reduce measurement noise and to track fast maneuvering target with little computational increment as compared to ${\alpha}-{\beta}$ tracker. Throughout the computer simulations, we verify outstanding tracking performance of the SWT algorithm in noisy linear and nonlinear trajectories. Also, we show that the SWT algorithm is not sensitive to initial model parameter selection, which gives large degree of freedom in applying the SWT algorithm to unknown time-varying measurement environments.

N/A Effects of Si and Ni addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Cu-12wt.%Al-5wt.%Fe-1wt.%Mn alloy have been investigated experimentally. Microstructure of the as-cast specimen is found to be refined markedly by additions of Ni and Si. By the addition of Ni, volume fraction of the k phase is increased, but volume fraction of the y phase is decreased. Hardness is increased with the addition of Ni, due to increasing of k phase which is harder than y phase. However, Charpy impact value is not significally decreased possibly due to the formation of isolate k phase. (Received February 19, 1998)

본 연구는 1997년의 외환위기가 한국의 성장 잠재력에 미친 영향을 분석하기 위해 잠재성장률의 시간 추이를 은닉인자모형(Unobserved Components Model)을 통해 추정한다. 기존 연구와 달리, 본 연구는 잠재성장률 시간 변동성의 정도를 결정짓는 계수를 편의 없이 추정하여 올바른 통계적 추론을 하며, 국내 총생산 증가율 자료에 존재하는 심각한 이분산을 고려하여 자료가 가지고 있는 정보를 효율적으로 이용한다. 1970~2004년 기간의 국내총생산 증가율 자료의 분석으로부터 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외환위기가 잠재성장률의 시간 변동성을 증가시켰다는 강한 증거가 발견되었다. 둘째, 외환위기 이후의 잠재성장률은 외환위기 당시의 것보다 낮으며 이는 외환위기가 유발한 구조적 변화가 성장 잠재력을 상당히 저하시켰음을 암시한다. 셋째, 약 3.7%로 추정되는 외환위기 이후 잠재성장률 평균은 정책당국이나 민간 연구기관들이 잠재성장률 추정치를 높게 잡는 경향이 있음을 나타낸다. To investigate how Korea’s potential to grow has been affected by the 1997 currency crisis, this paper estimates its potential growth rates over time, using an unobserved components model. Unlike existing studies, the model accounts for heteroskedasticity to make an efficient use of information contained in GDP growth rates, and the parameter determining the extent of time variation in potential growth rates is estimated free of bias. For 1970~2004, (1) there is strong evidence that the potential growth rates become more variable due to the crisis, (2) the estimates of post-crisis potential growth rates are lower than those of crisis period, suggesting that the crisis has had an adverse impact on Korea’s potential to grow, and (3) the average of post-2000 potential growth rate estimates is about 3.7%, indicating that policy authorities and private research institutes have been too optimistic about Korea’s potential to grow.
