In this study, 1,495 cases of computerized data collected as disease entities of oral and maxillofacial injuries among patient visiting S university hospital located in Seoul in 2009 were analyzed and following results were obtained. It was found that the injury incidence in male was greater than in female (1.49:1), it occurred most frequently in the age of 7∼14 years old (19.6%), and its most frequent cause was falling down (25.9%). Injuries occurred in other place including beach and open-air (24.7%) most frequently, often developed in anterior teeth (43.2%) and posterior teeth (43.1%), their incidence was relatively higher between 15:00∼17:00 (10.4%) and 19:00∼23:00 (7.1%) O`clock. In the relationship between causes of the injury and the diagnosis based on the international classification of disease), falling, fall, impingement, violence, traffic accident, sports and own making accident caused most frequently lip and oral open injuries (S01.5), open fracture of tooth (S02.51), close fracture of tooth (S02.50), close fracture of mandible (S02.60), close fracture of tooth (S02.50), respectively. From the above results, it is necessary to understand general characteristics of oral and maxillofacial injuries and to consider their trends for the establishment of systematic complement policies and for the performing safety training and public relations activities.

Arnold Van Gennep의 ‘통과의례’를 적용한 노인심리 분석 : 영화 ‘수상한 그녀’를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 영화 ‘수상한 그녀’의 주인공 오말순이 성숙한 노인으로 재탄생하는 심리변화과정을 분석하여 노인상담과 연계함으로서 노인복지 측면에서 노인 삶의 통합능력 향상을 위한 노인상담 활성화 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 Arnold Van Gennep의 ‘통과의례’인 분리(현실)-전환(비현실)-통합(현실)의 과정을 주인공 노인 오말순의 심리과정 변화에 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 노인 오말순(현실)이 오두리(비현실)로 청춘사진관을 통과하여 현실과 분리를 준비하는 과정이 상담의 형성단계에 해당하며, 분리하여 변신한 20대의 오두리는 비현실세계에서 가수의 꿈을 이루는 전환과정으로 상담에서는 치료단계에 해당하고, 병원에서 다친 손자에게 헌혈을 선택함으로써 재탄생의 성숙한 오말순(현실)으로 돌아온다. 이러한 통합과정은 상담의 해결단계에 해당된다고 볼 수 있다. 주인공 노인 오말순은 비현실의 세계인 전환의례를 거치면서 모든 갈등과 상실을 해소하고 현실의 세계를 수용함으로써 정신적 재탄생을 맞이한다. 즉, 영화의 주인공 노인 오말순은 ‘현실(분리) →비현실(전환) →현실(통합)’의 ‘통과의례’ 과정을 거치면서 인생의 고비를 넘기고 자아통합의 성숙한 노년을 맞이하며, 가족과의 갈등도 모두 해소하게 된다. 따라서 Arnold Van Gennep의 ‘통과의례’를 적용한 노인심리분석은 노인상담을 통한 자아통합의 성숙한 노인으로 재탄생하는 과정과 유사하기 때문에 사회복지 차원의 노인상담 활성화 방안의 활용 가치가 있다고 할 수 있다. This thesis is about Arnold Van Gennep’s application of the Rites of Passage’; separation (reality) - transition (dream) - incorporation (reality), to analyze “Miss Granny,” a movie on elderly psychology. It is aligned to counseling of the elderly and the study of a revitalization method to enhance their integrated ability pertaining to the senior citizens’ welfare aspect. Its purpose is to analyze the psychological process of becoming a new person, through the process of mental rebirth of Oh Mal Soon, the heroine in the film “Miss Granny.” The study results reveal that the process of preparing Oh Mal Soon (reality) for becoming Oh Doo Ri (dream) in her 20s, using the services of a youth photo studio comes under formation in the counseling process. Oh Doo Ri in her 20s who achieved her dream of becoming a singer in the world of dreams comes under treatment in the counseling process. The stage when she decides to get back to becoming Oh Mal Soon (reality) by getting a blood transfusion for her wounded grandson in the hospital comes under resolution in the counseling process. The movie, “Miss Granny” illustrates perfectly the process of solving the conflict of the characters and accepts it for mental rebirth through the process of transition rites, that is, a dream world. That is to say, the process of the Rites of Passage, separation (reality) - transition (dream) - incorporation (reality) depict how we can overcome the obstacles in our lives. The Rites of Passage, therefore, confirms the need for elderly counseling since it is similar to the process of rebirth - acquiring maturity for self-integrity through consultation. It works in more ways than one since psychoanalysis for the elderly applied by ‘the Rites of Passage’ is similar to the process of rebirth of maturity in the social welfare aspect.
