수평단열판에 부착된 등온사각비임에서의 자연대류 열전달에 관한 수치해석

장방형 발열체 주위에서의 자연대류열전달 특성을 고찰하기 위하여, 주위유체가 공기인 정상 층류상태하에서 수평단열판에 부착된 등온 사각비임에서의 자연대류 열전달 해석을 비임의 형상과 Grashof수를 변수로 하여 수치해석하였다.<br/> 무차원 비임폭 W/L가 감소함에 따라 사각비임으로부터의 열전달은 증가하며 비임상부면에서의 평균 Nusselt수는 W/L=0.25에서 최대, W/L=l.0에서 최소값을 나타내었다. 비임 측면의 경우는 W/L=l.0에서 최대, W/L=0.25에서 최소값을 나타내며 비임으로부터의 자연대류열전달은 비임폭의 지배적인 영향을 받는다. Steady laminar natural convection heat transfer from a square beam with a horizontal adiabatic plate has been studied numerically for various Grashof numbers and beam shapes.<br/> The heat transfer from a square beam increases as the dimensionless beam width W/L decreases. The mean Nusselt number of the upper surface is minimum at W/L=1.0, maximum at W/L=0.25 and that of the side surface is minimum at W/L=0.25, maximum at W/L=1.0. The increases of the total mean Nusselt number with increasing Grashof number is dominated by the beam width.

In the metal pipe covered with insulation material, a study was made for the influences of heat capacity of pope, heat capacity of insulation material and insulation thickness on the transient heat loss. Also, approximate analysis which considered the system lumped heat capacity system was performed. As the heat capacity of pope, heat capacity of insulation material and insulation thickness increase, transient heat loss increases linearly. In case that the heat capacity of the pope much larger than that the insulation material, the results of the approximate analysis showed a good agreement with those of the numerical analysis.
