        전문대학생의 진로의식에 관한 연구 - D대학 치기공과 재학생을 중심으로 -

        Purpose: The work of Dental technician which is part of national dental health, is more specialized recently. This research provides fundamental data from analyzing student's career consciousness according to needs of a career education. Here is the conclusion of the analysis about student's career consciousness, that is for a right choice of career. Methods: This study did questionnaire to a dental Laboratory Technology student who locate in Taegu. Question response student number was 570 people. Response contents analyzed to 506 people except imperfect questionnaire. Data used windows sas 8.0 program and did descriptive statistical analysis. Results: There is a meaningful difference in what they want to know about an occupation according to ages. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) All ages are similar to their occupational thinking, however they who are under twenties consider working environment. Most motives of an entrance are similar, there is a meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) According to a grade of college, there is a meaningful difference how to obtain informations of a career. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) Sophomores and juniors obtain information from seniors or family, however freshmen obtain from the internet because of an accessibility. There is a meaningful difference of a job meaning between men and women. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) Men are working for a means of living. But women give weight to a self-development. The older they grow, the more they know about their aptitude. Selecting subjects are different choosing time & motive. According to ages and where they are from, there is a meaningful difference how much know about their aptitude. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) Older Students know more than young students. Selecting subjects are different choosing time & motive. In accordance with a grade, ages, and where they are from, there are different degrees about how much know their interests. There is a meaningful difference of a choosing major period and choosing informations. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) And also there is a meaningful difference where they are from and why they enter to College. (${\rho}$ < 0.001) In accordance with a grade, ages, and where they are from, there are different degrees about how much know their aptitude. There is a meaningful difference of a choosing major period. (${\rho}$ < 0.01) And also there is a meaningful difference why they enter to College. (${\rho}$ < 0.001) Conclusion: Although we know that a career education is very important, however lots of students select a career without their aptitude & interest & character. We need to teach a career education systematically; considering students career consciousness, with a proper career guidance, cultivating career consciousness.

        Gothic arch tracing technique에 비교된 Simple tracing에 관한 연구

        In the process of arranging artificial teeth the simple atracing technique was shown to be more precise and convenient for general use in dental clinic than gothic arch tracing. The simple tracing technique had some advantages over other ones in that they were very useful to check protrusive, lateral and central occlusion of mandible movement, and it was very easy to transfer the oral condition and mandible movements precisely onto the articulator. Also the technique was more effective than when using wax bite in that the functional movement range has shifted to 0.2 - 0.4mm form central occlusion.

        치기공과 재학생의 진로계획에 관한 실태 조사 - D대학 학생을 중심으로 -

        Purpose: The career education of the college student needs a new awareness. This research provides fundamental data from analyzing necessities of student's career education according to plans of a career education. Methods: Make use of SAS 8.0 of windows and descriptive statistics analysis on investigate Dental Technology 570 students in Daegu. And also it analyzes difference of ispectable t-test and ANOVA. Results: According to a gender, a job experience, where they are come from, there is a meaningful difference of an information and an entrance motive for choosing a major (<.05). The time of choosing the major are different meaningfully (<.001). An awareness about the method of a career achievement is a meaningful difference between men and women(<.05). As getting old, the method of a career achievement is higher and there are meaningful differences according to a grade, job experience and a entrance screening(<.01). In accordance with a gender, a grade, entrance screening, there are meaningful differences of a degree for obtaining the career information activities(<.01). In accordance with an age, when they choose a major, there is a difference(<.001). In accordance with a gender and a age, there are meaningful differences of a career plan(<.001). The age difference is slight. In accordance with a gender and a age, there are meaningful differences how to effort for the career(<.001), and also according to an entrance screening, an entrance motive(<.05). These mean that the first priority for choosing the career and going into the world is a school record. There are meaningful differences of people that the student choose for consulting the career(<.01). According to the job experience there are meaningful differences(<.001). Conclusion: By investigating and analysing the student's career plan, we need to seek how students choose their career reasonably and desirably. And also we need to teach a career education systematically.

        치기공과 교육과정의 개선방안

        This research collected the curriculum for Dental Technology from a total of 20 schools --3-year colleges and 4-year colleges-- all in Korea. And we analyzed the average credits of subjects from students. As a result of this analysis, we get the conclusion below: 1. In the arithmetic mean of the major basis subjects which graduates and undergraduates answered about each subjects; Seminar, Dental morphology I II, Dental morphology practice I II, and Dental devices & instruments don't have many credits. And averages of the major application subjects credits which are Implants(especially low), Occlusal anatomy practice I II, Dental ceramics practice I II, and Dental ceramics practice are low, mostly have a converged tendency in high points. 2. In an analysis of the correlation which is based on the major basis subjects: Dental esthetic, oral anatomy I II, Dental materal practice III, Dental casting pracedure, Oral hygiene, Health & medical law, Management administration, and Medical terminology have a meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) 3. In an analysis of the correlation which is based on the major application subjects; Crown and bridge prosthodontics practice IV, Complete denture prosthodontics I II III, Complete denture prosthodontics practice I II III, Dental ceramics I II, Dental ceramics practice I II, Dental ceramics practice IIII, Occlusal anatomy I II, Occlusal anatomy practice I, Operative dentistry laboratory technology I, Operative dentistry laboratory technology practice II, Dental attachment laboratory technology practice, Implants, and Dental laboratory clinical practice have meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) 4. In an analysis of the correlation which is based on the ratio of a theory to an actual training; 40:60(38.57%) is the highest, followed by 30:70(30.04%), 50:50(23.32%), 60:40(5.83%), and 70:30(2.24%). These have meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) 5. In an analysis of the correlation which is based on the distinction of sex: Partial denture prosthodontics practice I II III, Complete denture prosthodontics I II III, Complete denture prosthodontics practice I II III, Occlusal anatomy practice I II, Implants, Medical terminology have meaningful difference. (${\rho}$ < 0.05) For the purpose of training entrepreneurs of middle standing who is required by a future society, Department of Dental Technology's Curriculum need to be managed with planning a curriculum which reflects opinions of graduates, undergraduates and a society, and also are considered not focusing on a supplier but focusing on a user.

        치기공과(齒技工科) 학생(學生)들의 직업성취도(職業成熟度)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

        The purpose of this study was to find job maturity of dental technology students in Taegu area. In order to accomplish the objectives stated above, the following research methods were utilized : 1. The related literatures including previous studies and journal were reviewed to develop the questionnaire for this purpose. 2. Field survey and questionnaire survey were conducted to collect data from 360 students sampled and analyzed by frequency percentage $X^2$-score. In consquence of analysis of the responses, the finding were as follows : 1. The job maturity of students was shown high. The grade point of 98.6 percent students as a whole was above three point. 2. As compared by academic year of sophomore students was higher than that of freshmen's, and male students were shown greater score than female students.

        의치사의 교육과정에 관한 연구

        As Korea is entering an aging society, the number of elderly people who need new denture or who have problems with their existing denture or adjacent tissue is increasing and it will double in 2018. Therefore, denture clinician system will lessen patients financial burden and introduce market economy to the dental prosthesis field. Therefore, Korea needs to adopt denture clinician system as soon as possible as USA or Canada to increase people s accessibility in quality and quantity. Denture clinician will determine the size and shape of denture after performing oral examination, make impression using various materials, fabricate denture, deliver and adjust completed denture to the patient, repair denture, and carry out financial management in the denture fabricating company or manage human resources. Considering denture clinicians services, American and European education system seems to be close to our system. Therefore, in this study, basic curriculums of several countries in Europe and America were reviewed and curriculum that meets Korean situation was suggested.

        대학생의 진로장벽에 관한 연구 (D대학 치기공과 재학생을 중심으로)

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the career barriers of students studying dental technology in D-College. Methods: This study targeted 490 college students studying Dental Technology in D-College. The survey about career barriers on this study consisted of 45 questions and was scored with 5-points per question. The corrected data was analyzed by SAS V8 for Windows. Results: The difference analysis of career barriers shows that differences exist depending on gender(p<.01) and serving military service(p<.05). Especially, female students(2.69) and male students(2.65) who didn't serve the military are more susceptible to career barriers. In the sub factors of career barriers, differences exist depending on and in order of gender, serving military service, experience studying one more year to enter the college, day and night, the affiliation of highschool graduated from, and hometown. The correlation between the sub factors of career barriers and perception of career barriers manifested 'Lack of self assurance'(0.84), 'Sense of physical inferiority'(0.76), 'Relationship with other important people'(0.73) and 'Lack of information on occupation' in order. Conclusion: In the factors affecting non-decision on the career, 'Lack of self assurance'(=0.2465) is the highest in terms of influence, followed by 'Difficulty in interpersonal relations’(=0.1801) and 'Lack of information on occupation' (=0.1391).

        노인들의 의치 장착 기간과 의치 사후 관리에 영향을 주는 요인 - 경북 농촌지역을 중심으로 -

        Purpose: In order to validate empirically the theoretical model of this study subjects, who were limited in Andong gun, Youngyang gun, Uiseong gun, Bonghwa gun, Chilgok gun, Cheongsong gun according to residence-specified distribution and over aged 65, were focused to the elderly in rural areas with geographical characteristics where they have difficulties in accessibility of dental facilities and dental care. Methods: The collected data were analyzed by the SPSS 19.0 program. First, the frequency analysis was performed for each independent variable and the dependent variable. Second, reliability analysis and correlation analysis were conducted for daily living skills and Biomedical Vigilance. Third, multivariate analysis was performed in terms of and the post-administration management. Fourth, multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting the post-management of dentures and the period of using dentures. Results: By results of the multiple regression analysis, the elder the subjects are(${\beta}$ = 0.03), the lower their income activities are(${\beta}$ = -0.18), the smaller their monthly allowances are(${\beta}$ = -0.16), the worse their daily activity skills are(${\beta}$ = -0.12), the more they were mounted their dentures by an unlicensed contractor(${\beta}$ = 0.07), and the more they cost to their dentures(${\beta}$ = 0.14), the longer the period of use dentures are. And the beneficiaries of Basic Livelihood Security(${\beta}$ = -0.14) who got free denture business are shorten the period of using dentures. According to multiple regression analysis for post management of dentures, the independent variables like the health education(${\beta}$ = 0.24), smoking(${\beta}$ = -0.18), periodic oral examination(${\beta}$ = 0.13), dentures mounted by an unlicensed contractor(${\beta}$ = -0.13) are shown statistically significant results. In that study subjects are taking part in health education and non-smokers, they are likely to have more chances to post management for their dentures like periodic oral examination. However the subjects who were weared their denture by an unlicensed contractor get less chance to post management for their dentures. Conclusion: As the elderly who want to wear denture are increasing due to the denture insurance for the elderly, the need for oral health education for the elderly is an urgent request, especially continuos education for the way of use their dentures and follow-up management for the elderly who were already mounted their dentures. And also, the need for more systematic researches is requested for securing objective data.

        치과기공사의 직업 및 직무만족도에 관한 연구 - Denture part 근무자를 중심으로 -

        Purpose: This study was survey on future job vision and its pride (self-esteem) of dental technicians. It also investigates the future vision on their major of job (denture) and its awareness to improve the work environment and enhance their satisfaction towards job and duties. Methods: In order to research job and its duty satisfaction of dental technicians who mainly work at denture part, certified questionnaire was modified and upgraded for its use. Collected documents were used by 'Window SAS 8.0 Program' for analysis. The significance of the test related to the items and its standards has been decided for p<0.05. To find out the differences between choices when choosing career and the duty satisfaction, t-test, one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA have been used. Results: Following research findings show: 1. There was high self-esteem towards the job as dental technicians but low in future job vision. 2. It has been found that if satisfaction on their job (dental technician) is high then also their satisfaction on its duty (denture part) is high. 3. The factors that affects mostly on duty satisfaction of denture part are 'the contribution on improving oral cavity of people'(${\beta}$=0.33118), 'The possibility of growth of person's job choices'(${\beta}$=0.30035) and 'person's satisfaction on choosing job'(${\beta}$=0.16069). 4. If there is an increase level on the contribution of improving people's oral cavity, the possibility of growth of person's job choices and the person's satisfaction on choosing job, then there is also high growth in denture part's duty satisfaction. 5. It has been found that if there are more employment histories of denture part, the duty satisfaction of denture part were also high. On the other hand, the more employment history of dental technicians get, the duty satisfaction of their denture part was low. Conclusion: Following research results show that there is high self-esteem towards the job as dental technicians but the vision towards future was low. This shows that there is no bright future on dental technology. Therefore, it is important that not only to improve the work environment and pay rise on dental technologists but also to satisfy them. Various program developments and continuous research are needed to increase satisfaction.

        치기공과학생의 임상실습만족도에 대한 조사 연구 -대구지역을 중심으로-

        This study is analyzed to conduct better on-site practices with recognizing importance of the clinical practice of Dept. of dental technology and use it as a basic material in the clinical practice. Target people who are students studying dental technology in D college in Daegu were questioned by survey. Study results below 1. Average score of the survey about satisfaction of the operating method of clinical practice shows 3.26. In detail elements, 'credit assignment(10 credits)' is 3.65 as the highest score, 'execution period(vacation)' is 3.50, 'choice of the clinical practice organization' is 3.25, 'measures after practice' is 2.98 and 'pre-education' is 2.98 as the lowest score. 2. Through the real clinical practice, 'experience of new equipments and technology' is 3.64 as the highest score, 'choice of lecturer' is 3.61, 'guidance way' is 3.49, 'contents properness' is 3.44, 'environment of practice organization' is 3.36, 'evaluation way' is 3.35 and 'practical use of the evaluation material' is 3.18 as the lowest score. 3. The average score of survey about satisfaction after clinical practice of the participated students is 3.46 that is higher than both 'satisfaction about operating method(3.26)' about clinical practice of college and 'satisfaction about organization(3.44)' about environment of dental craft organizations and labs, guidance way of lecturer and evaluation. 4. In the improvement of distribution of the clinical practice evaluation, in the 'practice organization: college' viewpoint, '7:3' is 35.77% as the highest response, '6:4' is 25.20%, '8:2' is 22.76% and '4:6' is 16.26 in regular sequence. 5. In site evaluation reflection of clinical practice, 50% reflection is 32.93% as the highest percentage, 60% reflection is 26.83%, 20% reflection is 20.73% and 80% reflection is 6.10% in regular sequence. In attendance score, it shows percentage of reflecting 50% and 40% is 26.98%, students wanting to reflect 30% is 25.40%, reflecting 10% is 20.63% and no reflecting is 0%. In result of the analyzed data, clinical practice has to be studied more in considering that clinical practice is important point in education of Dept. of Dental Technology and also problems in college and on-site practice need improvements.
