In this paper, the design of an electric vehicle motor drive was carried out. By considering the structural condition and applying the volume design technique, the initial dimension was set. The motor design satisfied the requirement specification through the finite element analysis was proposed.

In this paper, deal with design of radial field permanent magnet synchronous generator. The output characteristics of machine and all of process is analyzed by 2D FEA due to geometrical structures of RFPM machine.

The cogging torque is important to the cut-in wind speed. And, it causes the acoustic noise and the vibration on the machine. This paper presents a 3D FEA(Finite Element Analysis) to evaluate the effect of magnet skew and stator displacement on cogging torque reduction, for double core AFPM(Axial Flux Permanent Magnet) generator. As a result, the magnet skew and the stator side displacement are proved excellent techniques to reduce the cogging torque.

Small wind turbine system required a cost effective and mechanically simple structures in order to be a reliable energy source. A small wind turbine system mainly required a boost converter, AFPM generator with non-slotted stator can't generate high voltage at low wind speed due to long air-gap. It is the reason of output efficiency drop. Therefore, in this paper, the Axial Field Permanent Magnet synchronous generator with internal rotor and dual slotted stators for the small wind turbine is studied, and deal with a cogging torque minimization since the use of iron slotted stator causes to increase the cogging torque. For this study, structural modeling and characteristics analysis are accomplished by 3D finite element analysis

본 연구에서는 냉장고의 효율향상을 위하여 송용 팬용 고효율 BLDC모터의 설계 및 해석에 관한 연구가 진행되었으며, 기존에 사용되어진 팬 모터의 규격 치를 기준으로 유한요소해석법을 이용한 송풍 팬용 고효율 BLDC모터를 설계하였다. 또한, 해석모델을 바탕으로 시작기를 제작하였으며, 실험값과 해석값을 비교분석 하였다.

Generally, the structure without the stator core Axial Field Permanent Magnet (AFPM) generator was simple and there was nearly no cogging toque. And because it had the wide driving rate area, it had been being mainly used in the small wind power generation system. However, AFPM generator with non-slotted stator can’t generate high voltage at low wind speed due to long air-gap. It is the reason of output efficiency drop. Therefore, in this paper, the AFPM synchronous generator with internal rotor and dual slotted stators for the small wind turbine is studied, and deal with a cogging torque minimization through the determination of optimum pole-arc ratio.
