        소집단 협동학습이 학습동기와 영어 듣기능력 향상에 미치는 영향

        This study is to investigate the effects of the small group cooperation activities on various aspects of English learning motivation and listening proficiency of Korean university students. The relationship learning motivation and listening proficiency was examined, Also the small group cooperation activity and listening proficiency did. It was also explored that how learning motivation was influenced by the small group cooperation activity. The participants completed English learning motivation questionnaire and the small group cooperation activity questionnaire. They also took TOEIC twice during a semester as measurement of their English listening proficiency. The results of listening proficiency and learning motivation were influenced by the small group cooperation activities. The prominent factors for learning motivation were 'instrumental', achievement, and attitude on foreigners. Except for 'integrative', other factors of motivation were positively affected. Thus, to improve students' learning motivation and English listening proficiency, teachers should encourage students to participate in small group cooperative activities. There was a limitation of research, which was lack of participants, few chance of study. Based on the results, pedagogical suggestions were presented.

        양육 민감성과 안정 애착 증진을 위한 애착 기반 부모교육 프로그램 적용 효과

        8회기 애착 기반 부모교육 프로그램을 개발하여 만 2~3세 자녀를 양육하는 주양육자 25명을 대상으로 실시한 후 그 적용 효과를 검증하였다. 또한 양육자의 양육 스트레스, 우울 수준 및 자녀의 기질 수준에 따른 프로그램 적용 효과의 차이를 알아보았다. 애착 기반 부모교육 프로그램 적용 결과, 양육 민감성 및 안정 애착 사전-사후 점수의 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 역기능적 상호작용 양육 스트레스를 높게 보고한 참여자 집단과 우울 점수를 높게 보고한 집단에서 양육 민감성의 변화가 상대적으로 크게 나타났고, 까다로운 기질 점수를 높게 받은 자녀를 양육하는 참여자 집단에서 안정 애착의 변화가 크게 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 애착 기반 부모교육 프로그램이 일반 양육자를 대상으로 예방적, 교육적 목적으로 활용될 가치를 찾아볼 수 있겠다. This study aims to develop an attachment-based parental education program and its application to enhance parenting sensitivity and attachment security. A total of 25 care-givers, raising 24-36-month-old toddlers, participated in 8 sessions of attachment-based parental education program. Pre- and post-intervention data were collected and analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test to investigate effects of the intervention, Mann-Whitney U test to verify the levels of parental stress, maternal depression, and toddler s temperament resulting in the effects of the intervention. There were significant effects on enhancing parental sensitivity and attachment security in participants. Furthermore, there were significant group differences in parenting sensitivity between those who recorded high and low score on dysfunctional parent-child interaction subscale on parenting stress, and those who reported high and low depression levels. Participants who believed that their child has a difficult temperament showed a more significant change in attachment security than those who did not. This study demonstrated effects of attachment-based parental education program for enhancing parenting sensitivity and attachment security to care-givers in general population.

        유아의 수줍음, 인지능력, 어머니의 양육행동, 유아의 위축 및 불안?우울 간의 관계: 양육행동의 조절효과를 중심으로

        본 연구는 유아의 수줍음 기질, 인지능력, 어머니의 양육행동이 유아의 위축 및 불안·우울에 영향을 미치는 심리적 기제를 살펴보고자, 유아의 인지능력을 통제한 뒤 유아의 수줍음과 위축 및 불안·우울의 관계를 어머니의 양육행동이 유의하게 조절하는지 알아보았다. 이를 검증하기 위해 서울 및 경기 지역에 거주하는 만 2∼3세유아 104명을 대상으로 베일리 영유아발달평가(Korean-Bayley Scales of Infant Development-Ⅱ)를 통해 인지능력을 측정하였고, 유아의 수줍음 기질, 문제행동, 어머니의 양육행동 척도로 구성된 어머니 보고형 설문지를 배부하여 자료를 수집하였다. 주요 변인들에 대한 상관관계 분석 결과, 유아의 수줍음은 위축 및 불안·우울과 정적인 상관을 보였으며, 유아의 인지능력과 위축 및 불안·우울 간 관계는 부적으로 유의한 상관을 보였다. 어머니의 양육행동 하위변인 중, 적극적참여는 유아의 위축 및 불안·우울과 부적으로, 방임적허용은 정적으로 유의한 상관을 보였다. 위계적 회귀분석을 통한 조절 효과 분석 결과, 양육행동 하위변인 중 적극적 참여는 위축과 우울·불안에 대하여 수줍음과 유의한 상호작용 효과를 보였다. 즉, 유아의 인지능력, 수줍음, 어머니의 적극적 참여 양육행동의 주효과 뿐 아니라, 수줍음과 적극적 참여 양육행동의 상호작용 효과가 유의하였다. 이에 대해 도표와 단순주효과 분석을 통해 양육행동의 조절효과를 확인하였으며, 그 결과 어머니의 적극적 참여 양육행동이 낮을 경우에, 유아의 수줍음이 위축과 불안·우울을 유의하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. This study examined how a toddler`s shyness temperament, cognitive ability and the way he/she was nurtured by their mothers affect the toddler`s level of withdrawal as well as anxiety and depression. In order to conduct the study, the subject`s cognitive ability was controlled first. The subjects of this experiment consist of 104 children, at the age of 2∼3 residing either Seoul or Kyungki province. The results were evaluated by descriptive statistics, Pearson`s correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results and findings are as follow: First, a positive correlation between the toddler`s shyness and level of withdrawal, anxiety and depression was found, whereas a negative correlation was witnessed between the toddler`s cognitive ability and the level of withdrawal, anxiety and depression. In addition, among the components of the mother`s parenting behaviors, a negative correlation was noted between active involvement and the level of withdrawal and anxiety/depression whereas a positive correlation was witnessed between non-interventional allowance and the level of withdrawal, anxiety and depression. Second, hierarchical regression analysis in which the dependent variables were the level of withdrawal, anxiety and depression including the toddler`s shyness and mother`s parenting behaviors as interactional variables was carried out after controlling the cognitive ability of the child. Active involvement, a component of parenting behaviors proved to have a similar interactional effect as shyness on the level of with drawal, anxiety and depression. In other words, not only the cognitive ability of the child, shyness and active involvement of the mother shared similar consequences of a parenting behavior but also did they have a similar effect. The moderation effect of a parenting behavior was further confirmed by follow-up analysis of graphs and simple main effect. As a result from this analysis, when the level of the mother`s active involvement was low, shyness of the child proved to be a meaningful indicator of the level of withdrawal, anxiety and depression.

        이야기의 중요성 판단에 미치는 정보의 비일관성 효과

        The present study investigated how the inconsistency between episodes in a story affects judgment of the importance of a sentence. In experiment I, 120 college students read 4 stories containing 3 episodes and judged each of the sentences, one after another. The results of the importance rating showed that adult subjects were sensitive to inconsistency between episodes. The analysis of episodes revealed a significant difference between episodes in all of the 4 stories, with lowest importance ratings given to the inconsistent episodes. In experiment II, 220 children were sampled from a private school of middle S.E.S.Status. 2nd-, 4th- and 6th- graders read 2 stories, and judged the importance of the sentences. It was found that children were less sensitive to inconsistencies in a story than adults. Younger children had more difficulty in the integration of inconsistent information. Especially in the 2nd episode, the importance rating was affected by grade [F(2,2627)=195.52, p<.01], suggesting that 6th graders were more sensitive to inconsistencies than the younger children. In contrast to adults, 2nd graders gave high importance ratings to inconsistent sentences as well as to consistent sentences.

        학령전 아동을 위한 애착이야기 그림검사의 개발

        The purpose of this study is to develop a pictorial attachment story test for preschool children. In the pilot and preliminary study, a set of ten pictures depicting attachment story stem and six coding scales were developed. In checking for validity, the test was measured for psychometric properties using samples from 152 children aged 4-6 in the general and clinical population. The results are as follows. First, by testing for internal consistency, inter-rater reliability, and test-retest reliability, the study confirmed the stability and reliability of the pictorial attachment story test. Second, the pictorial attachment story test appears to be a valid measure of the construct of attachment representation. The result of confirmatory factor analysis showed that it had sound construct validity. In addition, comparison with the contrasted group provides additional evidence of construct validity. In summary, there is sufficient evidence that this instrument is a developmentally appropriate assessment tool to measure attachment representation in preschool children. The pictorial attachment story test showed encouraging psychometric properties. As a tool in clinically relevant research, it could provide a window into a child s experience and expectation of caregiver s availability and responsiveness.

        한국인 자폐스펙트럼장애와 UROC1 유전자의 연관성 분석

        Objectives:Urocanase domain containing 1 (UROC1) has never been studied in prior studies on autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). UROC1 causes urocanic aciduria, one of the symptoms of which is mental retardation. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between the UROC1 gene and ASDs in a Korean population. Methods:A total of 258 control and 214 patients with ASD were used as subjects of this study. SNPs selected from UROC1 were genotyped using Illumina Golden-Gate Genotyping assay with VeraCode® technology. Statistical analysis was performed using SAS and Plink software. Results:We found no association of the 12 SNPs in the UROC1 gene with ASDs in a Korean population. Conclusion:Our study suggests that the 12 SNPs (11 SNPs and 1 SNP in the intron and 3’UTR region, respectively) in the UROC1 were not associated with ASDs in a Korean population. Further study on the exon region of UROC1 is needed.

        한국형 베일리 영유아 발달검사 3판 소근육 운동척도 예비 연구

        The purpose of the present study was to conduct a preliminary study for developing a Korean version of the Fine Motor Scale of the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, 3rd Edition(Bayley-Ⅲ). The subjects for this study included 313 Korean infants and toddlers aged from 16 days to 42 months and 15 days. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, the analysis of the degree of item difficulty indicated that the arrangement of the items corresponded with child development by age. Secondly, the analysis of the inter-item consistency, the test-retest reliability and the inter-rater reliability revealed a high degree of reliability of the scale. Thirdly, the Fine Motor Scale of K-Bayley-Ⅲ score showed a significant high correlation with the Motor composite score but a significant moderate correlation with the Language composite score, providing evidence of its convergent and discriminant validity. This study demonstrated that the preliminary version of the K-Bayley-Ⅲ Fine Motor Scales can be applied to assess the development of fine motor skills of Korean infants and toddlers.
