        MICE산업 통계 개선방안에 대한 연구:『MICE 산업통계 조사·연구』를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to suggest improvements to the ‘MICE Industry Statistics Survey' which was designed for understanding the current scale of the MICE industry. 'MICE industry statistics survey' is very significant that it is the only industrial statistic including the whole mice industry. Statistics are the basic data for shaping the policies of a country. Accurate statistical data gives the necessary infrastructure for national management. To achieve the purpose of the study, firstly, ‘MICE Industry Statistics Survey' reports over the past decade were analyzed. In addition, problems and improvements were derived through in-depth interviews with 20 experts in the related field. Based on these, the ways to improve statistical quality were analyzed for more accurate statistical production such as survey design and survey methods from the perspective of practitioners. The results of the study could lead to high credibility and better use of ’MICE industry statistics Survey’.

        수정된 IPA를 활용한 코로나19 이후 오프라인 MICE 행사 선택속성에 대한 연구 - 방역 및 안전관리 요인을 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 코로나19 이후 오프라인 MICE 행사의 필수요건이 될 방역 및 안 전관리요인을 중심으로 참가자 관점에서 MICE 선택속성을 분석하는 것으로, 이를 통해 포스트코로나시대 MICE 참가자들의 심리적 불안을 줄임과 동시에 오프라인 MICE 행사 개최를 위한 실무적 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 먼저, 코로나19 이후 오프라인 행사 가이드라인을 바탕으로 1 차 측정항목을 구성하였으며, 전문가 협의를 거쳐 참가자 관점에서 설문항목을 수정‧보 완하고 최종적으로 선정하였다. 둘째, 구조화된 설문지를 바탕으로 오프라인 MICE 행 사 참가자를 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 응답을 수집하였다. 마지막으로 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 수정된 IPA를 통해 분석을 실시하고 결과의 시각화를 위해 IPA Matrix를 제 시하고 이에 따른 대면 행사 개최방안에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, MICE 참가자들은 코로나19 이후 위험 및 안전관리요인으로 출입통제 및 입장 제한, 다중이용시설 청소 위생 및 소독 강화, 참가자 위생 및 손세척 공간 확대, 비대면 등록절차 확대, 방역 안내배너 설치, 동선표시를 통한 이동경로 관리, 행사장 참가자수 제한 등을 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면, 임시 격리장소 마련, 파티션 설치로 스탭과 참가자 분리, 방역용품 제공은 상대적으로 중요하지 않은 것으 로 분석되었다. 또한 비대면 등록절차 확대, 참가자 위생 및 손세척 공간 확대, 다중이용시설 청소 위생 및 소독 강화를 통해 대면 행사 참가에 대한 만족도와 높게 유지할 필요가 있으 며, 실시간 참가자 모니터링 및 현장대응, 비접촉정책 시행 및 기술 사용, 동선표시를 통한 이동경로 관리, 행사장 참가자수 제한을 통해 방역 안전성을 확보하고 참가자들 이 안전하게 오프라인 행사를 참가할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the MICE selection attributes from the participant's point of view, focusing on the quarantine and safety management factor, which will become an essential requirement for face-to-face MICE events after COVID-19. To achieve the purpose, first, the measurement items were composed based on the face-to-face event guidelines issued by the government and associations. Second, 201 responses were collected through a questionnaire survey by offline participants in the 2020 Jeoungseon Forum. The Revised IPA was conducted and the IPA Matrix was presented for visualization of the results. As a result, MICE participants were subject to the quarantine and safety management factor after COVID-19, including ‘access control and entry restrictions’, ‘strengthening sanitation and disinfection for cleaning multi-use facilities’, ‘expanding hygiene and hand washing spaces for participants’, ‘expanding non-face-to-face registration procedures’, ‘installing quarantine guide banners and moving lines’. It was analyzed that‘management of the movement route through display’ and ‘limiting of the number of participants in the venue’ were considered important. On the other hand, it was analyzed that ‘provision of a temporary quarantine place’, ‘separation of staff and participants’, and ‘provision of quarantine supplies’ were relatively insignificant. Besides, it is necessary to maintain high satisfaction with the participation in face-to-face events by ‘expanding non-face-to-face registration procedures’, ‘expanding the sanitation and hand washing spaces for participants’, and ‘strengthening sanitation and disinfection for cleaning multi-use facilities’. Also, it is necessary to secure quarantine safety and to enable participants to safely participate in offline events by ‘management of the movement route through display’, and ‘limiting the number of participants in the venue’

        워케이션 기대효과 인식에 따른 소비지출 의향 차이 연구

        This study was conducted to find out whether there were differences in the spending intentions depending on the perception of the expected effect of workation. The target was 926 people who wanted to participate in workation. As a result of the analysis, two types of workation effect factors were derived: 'work improvement effect' and 'tourism expectation effect'. Accordingly, subgroups were divided into 'business improvement pursuit type', 'work and life balance pursuit type', 'tourism pursuit type', and 'general participation type'. The expected expenditure items showed differences in the willingness to spend for each group. Overall, the expected expenditure on the 'work and life balance pursuit type' was relatively high, and in the 'living cost', the 'work and life balance pursuit type' showed high expenditure intention. Through these analysis results, it was understood that there may be differences in expenditure propensity depending on the expected factors of each participant.

        국내관광객의 온라인 관광정보 활용 패턴과 이용특성 연구: 관광단계별 차이를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to make suggestions for online tourism marketing by finding domestic individual tourists’ behavior and patterns in their online tourism information usage throughout the stages of travel activities. A questionnaire survey was conducted from May 10 to 17, 2017, to domestic tourists who traveled within a recent year. A total of 441 copies were analysed. The travel stages were classified into pre, on-site, post, and tourism information resources also did into marketer-, consumer-, neutral-oriented based on characteristics of information provider. The characteristics of online tourist information were derived from analyzing the difference of tourists' motivation to use online tourism information, reliability of information source and satisfaction using the cross-tabulation analysis and ANOVA. The results of this study can be expected to provide specific information and practical values in terms of domestic online tourism marketing.

        MICE 레거시 성과지표 개발: 국제회의복합지구를 중심으로

        While most previous studies evaluating the performance of MICE events focused on the economic impact in the short term, the current research aims to develop performance metrics for assessing MICE legacy performance over time. The MICE integrated districts, one of South Korea’s major MICE-related policies, was the main focus of this research. To achieve the goal of this study, an extensive literature review on event legacy, sporting event legacy, and MICE legacy was conducted before developing a preliminary list of MICE legacy performance indicators divided into six categories. Based on an expert panel survey and in-depth interviews, this study finalized the MICE legacy performance indicators, including six categories and 58 detail indicators. The developed indicators could be used for designinglong-term legacy effect while preparing a MICE event and prioritizing the most crucial area for the hosting venue and organization.

        언어네트워크분석을 활용한 메가 이벤트 신문 사설 분석 - 2012 여수엑스포를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study was to explore newspaper editorials’ viewpoints on a mega-event by using semantic network analysis. Fourteen editorial columns of three presses relating to the EXPO 2012 Yeosu Korea, one of the recent mega-events, were selected and analyzed. The selected media are the representative conservative, progressive and economic newspapers in Korean Journalism. In the Chosunilbo, ‘Yeosu’ and ‘Expo’ were strongly networked with ’host’ and ‘ocean,’ which means that it emphasized on operation and the direct/in-direct effects of the Expo. In the Hankyoreh, ‘Ocean’ and ‘Sea’ were most frequently appeared. It means that it focused on the theme and contents of the Expo. In The Korea Economic Daily, ‘Invitation’ was most frequently stated and was strongly networked with ‘corporate,’ ‘success,’ ‘employment,’ ‘development,’ and so on. It can be said that it stressed economic phenomena. The results of this paper can help to better understand various newspapers' viewpoints in respect to future mega-events.

        Behavioral Finance: A Survey of the Literature and Recent Development

        This paper summarizes recent studies in behavioral finance—particularly regarding market anomalies and investor behavior—that are not reconciled with the traditional finance paradigms. This paper differs from previous survey literature in several aspects. We introduce more recent papers in the field, more literature on behavioral corporate finance, and provide statistics on the recent trends that are explored in behavioral finance papers. We expand the research scope to studies on Korean financial markets, introduce specific funds using behavioral finance techniques, and discuss the challenges facing behavioral finance.

        온라인 정보전달 유형에 따른 MICE 참가자 설득 효과 차이 분석 연구 - 코로나19시기 전시회 참관객을 중심으로

        This study was conducted to understand the persuasion effect of exhibition visitors on the types of online information media during COVID-19, and to derive academic and practical implications through this. The types of online information delivery for the exhibition were divided into the official website, Internet portalsite, Social Network Service, and e-mail including newsletters. And media reliability, information reliability, and persuasion effects were used to understand the characteristics of each type. Analysis data were collected through an online survey of visitors who had experience visiting the exhibition during COVID-19. A total of 302 copies of data were used for analysis. As a result of the study, it was analyzed that there were differences in media reliability, information reliability, and persuasion effect by type of information media at the exhibition, and the official website was the highest in all areas. This can be interpreted as a higher recognition of the reliability of the information directly provided by the organizer in crisis situations such as COVID-19. In addition, newsletters such as e-mails were evaluated relatively low in media reliability and information reliability, but showed high persuasion effects. This can be considered the high utility of newsletters such as e-mails as a tool for decision-making by visitors. Unlike many studies that show that exhibition information quality and reliability affect MICE participants' attitudes and behavioral intentions, this study is meaningful as an academic verification that there may be differences in reliability and persuasion effects for each type of information provision. It is also significant in that it is a study that can help predict participants' behavior during the COVID-19 period that brought great difficulties to the MICE industry.

        2021 경기세계도자비엔날레 관람객의 경제적 가치평가 - 가상적 가치추정방법(CVM)을 적용하여 -

        This study was conducted to identify the economic value of the 2021 Korean International Ceramic Biennale using the Contingent Valuation Method. From the study, direct and indirect information on the Biennale competitiveness was identified as useful policy data with strong public property characteristics, and has implications for maintaining the economic sustainability of the festival. The data were collected through a in-person survey of visitors to the 2021 event, and a total of 579 responses were analyzed. In this study, both parametric and non-parametric estimation methods were used to analyze the economic value perception of the visitors. Through the non-parametric estimation method, the willingness to pay was calculated about 5538.90 won, and it calculated about 8,874.5 won using the parametric estimation method and the truncated average method. In terms of the fact that the parameter estimation method includes the influence of demographic, psychological, and behavioral variables compared to the non-parametric estimation method, the final economic value proceeded with the result of the parameter estimation method. Through this, the economic value through the willingness of visitors to pay was estimated at about 266 million won.
