Recently, a font generation model using deep learning is being actively studied. Korean (Hangul) and Chinese (Hanja) characters require a lot of time and resources because the number of characters is larger than that of English characters and the structure of the letter shape is complex. It is difficult to create a new font and sometimes the style is not converted properly. In order to compensate for this problem, in this paper, by acquiring local style information from the character components, information loss is less and the quality is improved compared to when only global information is obtained from the image of the entire character, resulting in high-quality results. We propose a component-based Hangul and Hanja font generation model that can do this. The CKFont2 model proposed as a Hangul generation model is an improvement of the CKFont1 model (Component-Based Korean Font Generation Model), which uses 28 letters and 51 components based on the components of the initial, middle, and final consonants of Hangul. We propose a CKFont2 model that generates all Hangul (11,172 characters) using 14 characters and 51 components. The Chinese character generation model proposes CCFont (Component-Based Chinese Font Generation Model) that can generate almost all traditional and simplified Chinese characters (99.99%) with less than 17 components by using components. The CCFont model is a model that learned about 2,003 traditional Chinese characters, but it is also a model that can generate component-based other languages, and it is also possible to create Korean and Thai languages. Both models were based on pix2pix frames that transform images using cGAN. It is an efficient model with a simple structure and time and resource saving, and improved performance was confirmed by qualitative and quantitative comparison with other model generation results that generate Hangul and Chinese character fonts. In addition, the method using components can be applied to other component- based languages and can also be used for image conversion and compositing.

Objective : This study was to investigate clinical efficacy of Guibi-tang based on reports and actual application in obstetrics and gynecology. Method : This study searched scholarly journal paper registered in Korean Research Foundation from 2000 to 2010 which subject was involved with Guibi-tang and Guibi-tang-gami-bang. This study investigated the number of patients who were prescribed Guibi-tang-gami-bang and what herbal medicines were adjusted according to their chief complaint. Results 1. The total number of reports that were involved with Guibi-tang was 49 and there were 24 biological studies, 22 case reports, and 3 reviews among the 49 reports. But there was no randomize controlled trial involved with Guibi-tang. There was a biological study associated with beneficial effect of Guibi-tang on reproductive function, lipid metabolism during postmenopausal stage and osteoporosis. There were case reports involved with Guibi-tang on dysfunctional uterine bleeding with abdominal pain, recurrent Bartholin's gland cyst, hematochezia after radiotherapy of cervical cancer, menstrual period hemoptysis and postpartum depression. 2. The number of patients who were prescribed Guibi-tang for obstetrics and gynecological diseases at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was 721. Guibi-tang has been used to treat menstrual irregularity, postpartum general weakness, postpartum pantalgia, perimenopausal symptoms and postmenopausal syndrome most frequently. And Guibi-tang has been widely used in obstetric and gynecologic diseases such as general weakness after abortion or gynecological surgery, pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, uterine myoma, endometriosis, infertility, premenstrual syndrome, urinary incontinence and breast disease. Conclusions : Guibi-tang can be used in obstetric and gynecologic diseases as described in classical oriental medicine literatures, and it is necessary to research clinical efficacy of Guibi-tang through randomized controlled trial.

Objective : We analyzed retrospective clinical data of Korean medical institutes for infertility care and investigated current status and outcome of the Korean medical treatment of infertility as a part of foundational research for verifying validity of constructing national support system and developing appropriate policy on Korean medical treatment of infertility. Method : We investigated data uploaded on the homepage of The Society of Korean Medicine for Subfertility(http://www.okinfertility.org) by Korean medical institutes for infertility care to get informations such as patients’ age, body height, weight, occupation, classification of infertility, cause of infertility, history of infertility, method of Korean medical treatment, cost and duration of treatment, success or failure of pregnancy and result of treatment. Results : The average age of patients was 33.1±3.8 and the average body height was 161.2±5.3㎝ and the average body weight was 55.2±8.5㎏. The occupation of patients was an office worker (26%), profession (23%) and homemaker (14%), respectively. 61% of patients that had visited Korean medical institutes for infertility care was clinically infertile. The cause of infertility was idiopathic (28%), ovulatory factor (21%), pelvic factors (8%), uterine and cervical factors (6%), respectively. 52% of patients had past experience of any infertility treatment, and among them, 42% had past experience of Korean medical treatment and 75% had past experience of Western medical treatment. The method of Korean medical treatment was Herbal medicine (97.5%), acupuncture (80.4%), moxibustion (57.7%), cupping (32.7%). The average cost of treatment was 1,160,625±882,499 won, and the average medical cost per visit was 357,845±241,602 won. The average duration of treatment was 11.26±10.58 weeks, and the average number of visits per patient was 4.78±6.10 times. The average duration of treatment was the longest in the group of infertile patients with the highest average medical cost per visit. The average pregnancy success rate was 30.9% overall, and that of the group of infertile patients was 25.8%. Conclusions : When we develop the standard project model with expectation for about 25% success rate of pregnancy and delivery in the group of patients who have idiopathic and ovulatory factors, it is desirable to perform acupuncture and moxibustion treatment 1-2 times a week with herbal medicine. The treatment period is set to at least 12 weeks. Average treatment fee maybe calculated by converting the averaged treatment cost of clinic’s one month worth of daily treatment fee and medical hospital’s ten day treatment fee into weekly treatment cost.
