        아메바 모양의 침착물을 동반한 독성 전방 증후군에서 야그레이저를 이용한 치료

        Purpose: To report 3 unusual cases of toxic anterior segment syndrome resembling transparent amoeboid deposits following cataract surgery and to determine effective treatment methods. Case summary: Three patients underwent uneventful phacoemulsification with implantation of a hydrophobic acrylic intraocular lens (IOL) and patching with antibiotic/steroid ointment at the end of surgery. At a mean of 15 days postoperatively, a significant number of anterior chamber inflammatory cells and multiple transparent amoeboid deposits with central, elevated, gray-white opaque material on the anterior surface of the IOL were observed. In two cases, greasy material coated the anterior surface of the IOL in a wavy pattern. All laboratory tests to exclude infectious endophthalmitis were negative. Presuming postoperative inflammation, intensive topical steroid was administered. After treatment, anterior chamber reactions decreased; however, the multiple whitish deposits remained. Subsequently, a Nd:YAG laser (0.8 mJ) was used to disrupt and remove the precipitates. The masses were easily and obviously removed by laser therapy, and the mild residual inflammation resolved satisfactorily with mild topical steroid treatment. No recurrence or related complications developed during the two-year follow-up period in any patients. Conclusions: The delayed postoperative inflammation onset resembling amoeboid deposits is thought to be caused by ingress of ointment into the eye. The specific lumpy deposits cannot be controlled with topical steroids, although Nd:YAG laser treatment can effectively remove inflammatory cell deposits mingled with greasy oil material.         티트리오일을 이용한 유아 눈꺼풀 사면발이증 치료 1예

        Purpose: The authors of the present study report a case of phthiriasis palpebrarum treated with petrolatum ointment and tea tree oil in a 12-month-old boy. Case summary: A bluish-gray macule and blood clots were found on the central portion of the upper eyelid of a boy who had rubbed his eyelid vigorously 1 week prior. Several 0.5 mm sized brownish-gray nits and 1.6 mm sized lice on the eyelashes were visible and was diagnosed with phthiriasis palpebrarum after light microscopic examination. The nits and lice were gently removed mechanically with the help of a white petrolatum ointment (Vaseline) and the eyelashes were cleaned with 50% tea tree oil. Nits and lice were successfully eradicated without recurrence 10 days after daily treatment with petrolatum ointment and 10% tea tree oil eyelash cleansing.         소청용장(小靑龍湯)이 생쥐의 폐(肺) 대식세포(大食細胞) Cytokine 귀전자(遣傳子) 발현에 미치는 영향

        In many recent studies, molecular biological methods have been used to investigate the role of cytokines in pathogenesis of lung disease. This Experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of Sochungyong-tang on gene expressions in Mouse Alveolar Macrophage. Fer this purpose, we observed the cytokines ($IL-1{\beta}$, IL-6, IL-10, iNOS, $MIP-1{\alpha},\;MIP-1{\beta},\;MIP-1{\gamma},\;TGF-{\beta},\;TNF-{\alpha}$). We picked the alveolar macrophage out of mice and cultured it. We analyzed the cytokine gene expression by reverse transcription-PCR. The results obtained were as follows : 1 . Sochungyong-tang showed inhibitory effects on $IL-1{\beta}$ in time and concentration. 2. Sochungyong-tang showed inhibitory effects on IL-6 in time and concentration. 3. Sochungyong-tang showed inhibitory effects on IL-10 in concentration. 4. Sochungyong-tang showed inhibitory effects on iNOS. 5. Sochungyong-tang showed inhibitory effects on $TGF-{\beta}$ in time and concentration. 6. Sochungyong-tang showed on inhibitory effects on $MIP-1{\alpha},\;MIP-1{\beta},\;MIP-1{\gamma}$, $TCF-{\beta}$, $TNF-{\alpha}$. According to above results, it is supposed that Sochungyong-tang has the inhibitory effects on cytokine gene expression in mouse alveolar macrophage and can be usefully applied for curing inflammatory process of lung disease. Advanced studies are required to investigate the cure mechanism of Sochungyong-tang in the future.

        시신경을 침범한 밀러피셔증후군

        Purpose: To report an extremely rare case of optic nerve involvement in Miller-Fisher syndrome. Case Summary: A 74-year-old woman presented to our clinic with decreased visual acuity in both eyes. Such symptoms started 1 month prior to her visit, after sudden onset of left-side motor power weakness and dysphasia. Following the initial symptoms, our patient consecutively experienced worsening dysphagia, ptosis, and lateral gaze limitation. We confirmed the diagnosis as Miller Fischer syndrome with a positive anti-GQ1b antibody serology. She received immunoglobulin treatment for 5 days in other departement. She visited our clinic due to continuing diplopia, decrease of visual acuity and gait disturbance. On initial examination, the corrected visual acuity was 0.5 in both eyes. Ptosis of both eyelids, esodeviation, limitation in ocular movement was noted. The fundoscopic examinations revealed relatively pale optic disc. There was decrease in color vision in both eyes. The visual evoked potential test showed low amplitude and delayed latency in P100 wave in both eyes. Two months after her initial visit to our department her symptoms started to improve, and after 4 months all the initial problems resolved completely and her corrected visual acuity checked out to be 0.8 in both eyes and VEP abnormality was recovered. Conclusions: It is extremely uncommon for Miller Fisher syndrome to involve the optic nerve. We present such a case of a 74-year-old woman whose symptoms improved 4 months after its first attack with treatment. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2010;51(12):1676-1680

        歸脾湯 및 歸脾湯加味方의 止血效果에 관한 實驗的 硏究

        This Experiment was conducted to investigate the hemostatic effects of Guipitang and Guipitangjiaweifang. For this purpose, the effects of the crude extracts on the platelet count. prothrombin time, fibrinogen level and partial prothromboplastin time were estimated. The rats were divided into normal group, control group and experimental group. Control group was administrated normal saline and experimental group was divided into Sample 1 (Guipitang) and Sample 2 (Guipitangjiaweifang). The results obtained were as follows : 1. The platelet count was significantly increased in both of two samples as compared with the control group. 2. The prothrombin time was significantly shortened in case of Sample 2. however there were no significant changes in case of Sample 1 as compared with the control group. 3. The fibrinogen level was significantly increased in case of Sample 1. however there were no meaningful changes in case of Sample 2 as compared with the control group. 4. The partial prothromboplastin time was significantly shortened in both of two samples as compared with the control group. According to above results. it is supposed that Guipitang and Guipitangjiaweifang have the hemostatic effects in experimental animals.

        압축공기 방식 수중발사 시스템의 동특성 시뮬레이션

        In this paper, simulations of the underwater discharge system with compressed air are performed to predict dynamic characteristics of the system and to find optimal opening trajectories of the expulsion valve. Major components of the system are defined and their governing equations are derived to make up the mathematical model. The compressed air discharge method is affected largely by the discharge depth, and therefore the opening trajectories according to the discharge depth should be found to satisfy the demands of discharge performances. Simulation results are compared with experimental data to confirm the validity of the system model.

        선형펌프 방식 수중발사 시스템의 동특성 해석

        In this paper, the mathematical model of the underwater discharge system using a linear pump is derived and the suitable opening pattern of a flow control valve which satisfies the discharge performance requirements is obtained through the underwater discharge simulations. The simulation results show that the dynamic characteristics of a projectile are greatly affected by the opening pattern of the flow control valve, however, hardly by the diving depth. It is anticipated that the simulation model can be used to derive the design parameters and analyze the performance of the designed underwater discharge system using a linear pump.

        클로알칼리 멤브레인법과 전망

        클로알칼리(CA) 멤브레인법은 이온전도성 고분자전해질을 이용한 염수전기분해공정을 의미하며, 전통적으로는 가성소다와 염소 생산을 목적으로 하고 있다. CA 멤브레인법은 기존 클로알칼리 공정으로 사용되어왔던 수은법 및 격막법에 비해 환경적 유해성이 낮으며, 에너지비용을 상당히 감소시킬 수 있다는 장점을 나타낸다. 본 총설에서는 멤브레인법의 기본개념 및 특징, 핵심기술에 관한 내용을 다루고자 한다. 또한 높은 에너지비용을 갖는 염수전기분해에 대한 에너지 절감효과를 달성하기 위한 시스템 집적화기술, 산소탈분극전극 기술과 이종 기술과의 하이브리드를 통한 고도 CA 시스템기술의 예로서의 이산화탄소 직접전환기술에 대해 논할 것이다. 마지막으로, 멤브레인법에 기반한 국내외 CA 기술동향을 소개할 것이다. Chlor-alkali (CA) membrane process is based on salined water electrolysis employing cation condutive polymer electrolytes, which has been used for the conventional production of both sodium hydroxide and chlorine gas. The CA membrane process has advantages such as relatively low environmental impacts and fairly reduced energy consumption, when compared with diaphragm and mercury process. In this review articles, basic concepts, fundamental characteristics, key technologies of CA membrane process are dealt with in detail. In addition, advanced technologies associated with CA membrane process are described. They include zerogap and oxygen depolarized cathode technologies to improve energy efficiency during the electrolysis. Carbon dioxide mineralization technology will also be introduced as an example of hybridization with different technologies. Finally, current market trend in CA membrane process will be presented.

        A-TIG 용접에서 용입 형상비에 미치는 아크길이와 실드가스의 영향

        TIG welding enables to produce high quality weldment. However it has some problems such as shallow penetration and large distortion due to low penetration aspect ratio after welding. In order to overcome those problems, there are many ongoing studies on A-TIG welding, which use active flux. In this study, the effect of arc length and shield gas on penetration aspect ratio with melt-run welding on STS 304 6t, on which active flux was spreaded, was investigated. Arc length was changed from 1mm to 3mm, and aspect ratio became higher as arc length was decreased in this range. 100% Ar gas, Ar-$H_2$ mixed gas, Ar-He mixed gas, and 100% He gas were used as shield gas in this study. When Ar-$H_2$ mixed gas, Ar-He mixed gas, and 100% He gas were applied, penetration and melting efficiency were both increased as compared with 100% Ar gas. Aspect ratio was the highest with Ar-2.5% $H_2$ mixed gas.

        불확실성을 이용한 딥러닝 기반의 항공 이미지 객체 탐지

        Object detection in aerial images is an important task because it is used in various applications such as land management, disaster monitoring, national security, and map production, However, owing to the characteristics of aerial images, such as high resolution, data imbalance between classes, lack of data, and densely appearing objects, it is difficult to improve the performance even with the recent deep learning-based object detection models. To overcome these challenges, this paper proposes an uncertainty-based max-margin learning method and a data augmentation method based on attribute transformation specialized for aerial images. The superiority of the proposed methods based on a deep learning-based object detection model is revealed by it winning the aerial image object detection contest 2020.
