        <난학몽>에 나타난 향촌 지식인의 욕망, 그 이중성

        <난학몽>은 19세기 후반, 향촌 지식인인 정태운이 창작한 한문장편소설이다. 이 작품은 표면에서는 이념을 표방하고 있지만 이면에서는 19세기적 현실의 변이를 담아내고 있어 다분히 이중적인 텍스트이다. 욕망의 관점에서 이중성의 연원과 의미를 살펴보는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. 첫 번째 욕망은 유가적 입신의 욕망이며 당위적 욕망이다. 이것은 이념의 수호, 정치적 관심, 가문의 창달, 한문 표기로 드러난다. 두 번째 욕망은 창작에 대한 욕망이며 선택적 욕망이다. 이것은 여성세계에 대한 탐색, 소설 작법에 대한 모색으로 시도되며, 여성 역할의 확대, 일상성의 강화, 독자에 대한 인식, 웃음을 통한이념의 해체 등으로 드러난다. 이 두 가지 욕망은 단순히 양립하지 않으며, 작품 내부에서 충돌하고 갈등한다. 그러면서 두 욕망은 각각의 이면을 통해 모색과 한계를 드러낸다. 작가의 불우한 처지, 변화의 흐름을 따라가지 못하는 향촌 지식인의 의식, 소설에 대한탐닉, 그리고 20대라는 청춘, 이것은 <난학몽>의 이중성을 이해하는 키워드가 될 수있다. 왜냐하면 <난학몽>은 작가의 내면에서 이들의 갈등이 빚어낸 결과물이기 때문이다. <난학몽>은 19세기 후반, 격변하는 시대의 경험적 인식과, 공고함을 지키려는 관념적 사고가 충돌하는 시기의 필연적 산물이다. 가정소설과 가문소설의 소재 및 문제의식을 차용하고 심화시키면서 <난학몽>이 추구하고 있는 것은 변화하는 가족관계, 나아가 인간관계에 대한 모색이라는 점에서 <난학몽>의 작품세계는 이념에 대한 교조화로 재단될 수 없는 것이다. Nanhakmong is a novel written in Chinese letters by Jeong-Taeun, an intellectual who lived in a country village in late 19th century. On the surface it says about ideology, but it implies the changes of reality under the surface. This study aims at examining the true meaning and reason of the double meaning from the point of desire. The first desire was achieving fame inherited from Confucianism, which was a compulsory desire. This was reflected through protection of ideology, political interest, prosperity of his family, and the use of Chinese letters. The second desire was the desire to write, which was an optional desire. This was revealed through observation about women`s society and seeking a writing method. These two desires do not coexist simply, but they collide and conflict in the novel. Each exposes its own limits through the respective hidden side. The poor reality of the writer, the consciousness of a country village intellectual who could not follow the social changes, the pursuit of a novel, and the age of 20s are all important keywords that help us understand the double meaning of Nanhakmong because this work was a result of the conflicts among them in the writer`s inner world.

        <취미삼선록>에 나타난 그림의 기능과 의의

        Chuimisamseonrok is one of the series of Okhwangibong. It is a rewritten work telling untold stories of Empress Kwak and her daughters, who are set aside as peripheral characters in Okhwangibong that tells a story of Emperor Kwangmu and Empress Eum. In Chuimisamseonrok, there are three scenes of drawing pictures described. This study will describe the pictures, paying attention to the fact that they have important functions in developing the plot, realizing the theme, and healing the characters. The first picture is a portrait of Empress Kwak drawn by her first daughter, Princess Muyang. The second one is Empress Kwak’s portrait drawn by Empress Eum. The third picture, a work of Princess Youngpyoung, expresses daily lives of Emperor Kwangmu and Empress Kwak. The three pictures successively turn the center of narration from Princess Muyang to Empress Kwak. Further, through reorganization of the memories about Empress Kwak, they draw the theme of recovering her honor. Most importantly, drawing in this story is used as a therapeutic tool for the characters. While drawing or appreciating pictures, the three princesses, Emperor Kwangmu, and Empress Kwak’s mother experience healing. Empress Kwak’s mother-in-law, Empress Dowager, performs the role of an art therapist in the scenes of drawing pictures. From this perspective, it can be interpreted that the pictures in Chuimisamseonrok carry out the art therapeutic functions in modern terms. Chuimisamseonrok is an interesting story that shows the combination of classical novel and art therapy. It plays a role as a literature therapy text by healing characters, and further, even readers. In consequence, it is meaningful to notice that the description about pictures in the story provides a source to show the appearances and appreciation of drawings in the age of Chosun.

        청기산(淸肌散)과 가미청기산(加味淸肌散)이 마우스의 항(抗)알레르기 및 면역반응(免疫反應)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Cheonggisan(CGS) is well known for its effect on such allergic disease as urticaria and atopic dermatitis. Gagamcheonggisan(GCGS) was formulated by subtracting several herbs from CGS and adding several herbs to CGS. Even though it is being used frequently in the clinicai medicine for the treatment of above hypersensitivity diseases, basic study to make sure the mechanism of its action is rare. In this study the author tried to know the effect of CGS and GCGS on the vascular permeability, contact dermatitis, granular secretion from mast cells and function of macrophages. The results obtained in this study are as follows : 1. Administration of CGS and GCGS decreased the vascular permeability induced by serotonin and histamine. The decrease by serotonin is more typical and dose-dependent. 2. Administration of CGS and GCGS inhibited foot-pad and ear swelling responses induced by sheep red blood cells and picryl chloride respectively, the inhibition of foot-pad swelling responses is bigger than that of ear swelling responses and both of them are not dependent on the dose3. Treatment of peritoneal mast cells with CGS and GCGS water extract decreased the histamine release triggered by compound 48/80 in a dose dependent fashion 4. Administration of CGS and GCGS increased the phagocvtic activity of peritoneal macrophages and treatment of peritoneal macrophages with CGS activated phagocytic function in a dose dependent fashion. 5. Administration of CGS and GCGS enhanced such reactive oxygen intermediates(ROIs) as superoxide and hydrogen peroxide production from peritoneal macrophages. 6. Treatment of CGS and GCGS activated peritoneal macrophages for the production of ROIs. The above results show that CGS and GCGS decreased the hypersensitivity reactions by inhibiting non-specific inflammatory mediator release and vascular permeability without affecting general immune responsiveness.

      • 당뇨병쥐 뇌에서 Gangliosides 분석

        본 연구에서는 alloxan으로 유발시킨 당뇨병 쥐의 뇌에서 gangliosides 조성 변화를 조사하였다. 뇌 조직은 alloxan 주사후 3일째 희생시켜 얻었으며, gangliosides는 Folch-Suzuki 방법을 이용하여 추출하였다. Periodate-resorcinol 법으로 sialic acids를 정량한 결과, 당뇨병 쥐 뇌에서 sialic acid 양$(375{\mu}g)$이 정상$(783{\mu}g)$에 비해 반으로 감소하였다. 당뇨병 쥐 뇌에서 GT1b, GD1b, GD1a는 감소하였고 GM3와 band 1은 증가하였다. Sialidase처리로 band 1은 sialic acid가 없는 당지질임이 확인되었다. 2D-HPTLC로 당뇨병 쥐 뇌에서 GM1a와 GD1a 사이에 존재하는 마확인된 ganglioside가 증가함이 밝혀졌다. 미지의 ganglioside를 preparative TLC로 분리하여 ${\beta}-galactosidase$를 처리한 후 HPLC로 확인한 결과 Gal-GM1, Gal-Gal-GM1임이 확인되었다. The changes of ganglioside pattern from alloxan-induced diabetic rat brain, were investigated. Gangliosides were isolated by Folch-Suzuki method and analyzed by HPTLC. Sialic acid was determined by periodate-resorcinol method. The amount of gangliosides decreased 2 folds in diabetic brain. We found decreasing GT1b, GD1b, and GD1a, increasing GM3 and band 1, and no change of GM1a. In diabetic brain band 1 was identified as simple glycolipid with no sialic acid by the treatment of sialidase. The increase of unidentified ganglioside separated between GM1a and GD1a in diabetic brain found by 2-dimensional HPTLC. Unidentified ganglioside was collected by preparative HPTLC, treated with ${\beta}-galactosidase$ and analyzed by HPLC. As the result, this ganglioside revealed Gal-GM1 and Gal-Gal-GM1.

        토마토 과실에서 Superoxide Dismutase를 고발현하는 형질전환 식물체

        Superoxide dismutase (SOD)를 과실에서 고발현시킨 형질전환 토마토 (서광과 꼬꼬)를 개발하였다. 카사바 배양세포에서 분리한 CuZnSOD (mSOD1)를 과실에 우세적으로 발현하는 ascorbate oxidase promoter (ASOp)를 이용하여 ASOp :: mSOD1/pBI101 벡터를 제작한 후 Agrobacterium 매개로 자엽 절편체를 형질전환하였다. Kanamycin 저항성 식물체를 기관발생 경로로 재분화시킨 후 Southern 분석으로 형질전환을 확인하였다. 서광과 꼬꼬 토마토의 형질전환체와 대조구 식물체의 과실을 성숙 단계별로 분류하여 단백질 함량과 SOD 비활성도 (units/mg protein)를 측정한 결과, 단백질 함량은 열매가 익은 단계로 갈수록 점점 감소하여 완전히 익은 단계에서 가장 낮았다. SOD 비활성도는 형질전환 토마토의 열매의 모든 단계에서 대조구보다 높았으며 완전히 성숙한 과실에서 가장 높았다. 성숙한 형질전환 서광과 꼬꼬 과실에서 SOD 비활성도는 비형질전환의 것보다 각각 약 1.6배와 약 2.2배 높았다. SOD isoenzyme gel 분석에서 도입한 mSOD1로 추정되는 CuZnSOD 밴드가 형질전환체에서 과실 성숙에 따라 강하게 발현되었다. 이상의 결과로서 ASO promoter에 의해 SOD 유전자가 토마토 과실에 특이적으로 발현됨이 확인되었다. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) plays an important role in cellular defense against oxidative stress in plants. We have developed transgenic tomato plants overexpressing a cassava SOD in fruits. Three transgenic tomato plants (one from cv. Pink forcer and two from cv. Koko) using a new vector system, ASOp :: . mSOD1/pBI101, harboring ascorbate oxidase promoter (ASOp) expressing dominantly in cucumber fruits, CuZnSOD cDNA (mSOD1) isolated from cultured cells of cassava, and nptll gene as a selectable marker were successfully developed. SOD specific activity (units/mg protein) in transgenic fruits of both cultivars was increased with maturation of the fruits. SOD specific activity of well-mature fruits in transgenic Pink forcer and Koko showed approximately 1.6 and 2.2 times higher than control fruits, respectively. The strength of SOD isoenzyme bands well reflected the SOD activity during the fruit maturation. These results suggested that SOD gene was properly introduced into tomato fruits in a fruit-dominant expression manner by ASO promoter.

        형개연교탕(荊芥連翹湯)과 가미형개연교탕(加味荊芥連翹湯)이 소염(消炎).진통(鎭通) 및 항(抗)알레르기에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Hyunggyeyungyotang has been used for treatment of sinusitis and otitis media in oriental medicine since ancient times. It is reported that Hyunggyeyungyotang has good effects on inflammatory and allergic diseases of otorhinolaryngology in clinical medicine. Kamihyunggyeyungyotang was made by adding several herbs to Hyunggyeyungyotang which has such good effects. To investigate the effects of Hyunggyeyungyotang and Kamihyunggyeyungyotang on inflammatory, algesic and allergic diseases, the author examined the analgesic effect by acetic acid reaction, studied the anti-inflammatory effect through the experiments of the protein thermo-denaturation and circumscribed edema. Besides researched the anti-allergic effect through the vascular permeability response to Chemical Mediator and the delayed type hypersensitivity response to Picryl Chloride. The obtained results were as follows ; 1. In the analgesic effect of Hyunggyeyungyotang and Kamihyunggyeyungyotang extract by acetic acid method, both of the sample groups showed the analgesia, but didn't show useful effect. 2. In the anti-inflammatory effect on the protein thermo-denaturation, the sample groups revealed the inhibitory effect in proportion to concentration as compared with the control group. 3. In the inhibitory action on circumscribed edema induced by Caraggeenin, both of Hyunggyeyungyotang and Kamihyunggyeyungyotang administration showed the significant effect after 4 hours in comparison to the control group. 4. In the delayed type hypersensitivity response to Picryl Chloride, both of the sample groups revealed the significant effects. 5. Both of the sample groups decreased the vascular permeability induced by Histamine in comparison with the control group, but the significancy was admitted in only Hyunggyeyungyotang administration. According to above results, Hyunggyeyungyotang and Kamihyunggyeyungyotang are considered to be used for treament of the inflammatory diseases including sinusitis.

        유비쿼터스 멀티미디어 응용을 위한 그리드 시스템의 서비스 플랫폼

        무선 통신의 발전으로 인하여 PDA, 휴대전화 등의 이동기기를 위한 멀티미디어 서비스의 개발 또한 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 이러한 모바일 멀티미디어 서비스의 개발에는 모바일 컴퓨팅의 요구조건을 효율적으로 제어할 수 있는 플랫폼이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 무선 통신의 잦은 통신단절과 모바일 디바이스의 시스템 자원부족에 대응하기 위하여 모바일 에이전트 기반의 그리드 시스템을 사용하는 적응형 서비스 플랫폼을 제시하고, 서비스 플랫폼의 활용예로 모바일 원격 교육 또는 화상 회의에 사용되는 RtoA (Ready-to-Attend) 프레임워크를 구성하였다. RtoA는 사용자들에게 원활한 유비쿼터스 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 그리드 시스템을 이용한 핸드오프, 스피커, 리스너 서비스를 제공한다. ns-2를 이용한 성능평가의 결과 RtoA는 모바일 디바이스의 에너지 소모량을 줄이고, 응답시간을 향상시키는데 효율적임이 증명되었다. Advances in wireless network are enabling the development of ubiquitous multimedia services. These multimedia services need efficient platforms to comply with the requirements of mobile computing. We introduce an adaptive service platform based on mobile agent and grid systems while specifying the challenges of ubiquitous multimedia services and focusing on frequent disconnections and scarce resources. We applied our platform to framework RtoA (Ready-to-Attend) which supports mobile users to access compute-intensive multimedia service, specifically, mobile education and video conferencing. RtoA includes hand-off, speaker and listener service which enable people to attend a conference or a class with satisfying quality of multimedia service. ns-2 based simulation verifies that our scheme is an efficient way to reduce energy consumption of mobile devices and to improve the response time of mobile applications.
