English story books translated from Korean folk tales can be used as effective materials in elementary English education. This study explores the values of Korean folk tales through investigating the availability of the Korean folk tales in English, and analyzing the types and frequency of vocabulary employed. For this purpose research started from investigating Korean folk tales in English on the markets as well as on the web sites. Then two corpora were built by wording the texts into a corpus program: Korean folk tales in English and western folk tales. The findings from the research are as follows. Korean folk tales in English tended not to be easily available and not to be widely in use. With regards to the number of vocabulary types of Korean folk tales, it was nearly similar to that of western folk tales. However, the English vocabulary was quite strikingly different from the one suggested by the 7th National Curriculum. The frequency of English vocabulary in Korean folk tales was lower than the one from the English textbooks used in schools and the ratio of low-frequency words was comparatively high. It was also found that many words of Korean folk tales in English reflected the source culture, which is expected to be good for developing intercultural communicative competence. Lastly, contents, organizations, and the vocabulary were found to be somewhat different from each version though dealing with the same folk tales. With these findings some suggestions are provided for making the most out of the Korean folk tales in English for elementary school English teaching.
교과서에 표현된 복소수와 이에 대한 학생들의 이해 실태 분석

In this study, contents of ``the 2007 revised curriculum handbook`` and 16 kinds of mathematics textbooks were analyzed first. The purpose of this study is to examine the understanding state of students at general high schools by making questionnaires to survey the understanding state on contents of chapter of complex number based on above analysis. Results of research can be summarized as follows. First, the content of chapter of complex number in textbook was not logically organized. In the introduction of imaginary number unit, two kinds of marks were presented without any reason and it has led to two kinds of notation of negative square root. There was no explanation of difference between delimiter symbol and operator symbol at all. The concepts were presented as definition without logical explanations. Second, students who learned with textbook in which problems were pointed out above did not have concept of complex number for granted, and recognized it as expansion of operation of set of real numbers. It meant that they were confused of operation of complex numbers and did not form the image about number system itself of complex number. Implications from this study can be obtained as follows. First, as we came over to the 7th curriculum, the contents of chapter of complex number were too abbreviated to have the logical configuration of chapter in order to remove the burden for learning. Therefore, the quantitative expansion and logical configuration fit to the level for high school students corresponding to the formal operating stage are required for correct configuration of contents of chapter. Second, teachers realize the importance of chapter of complex number and reconstruct the contents of chapter to let students think conceptually and logically.
스마트 TV 와 애플리케이션 스토어 간의 상호 인증과 암호 통신 적용 방안 연구

디지털 TV 기술과 소프트웨어 기술의 발전은 스마트 TV 라는 TV 의 새로운 패러다임을 도래하게 하였다. 스마트 TV 는 네트워크를 통해 애플리케이션 스토어에 접속하여 다양한 콘텐츠들을 다운로드 하여 설치/이용하게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 보안 위협들 중에서 콘텐츠의 불법 다운로드 및 기기 인증 우회 등으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 피해를 예방하기 위한 방법으로서 공개키 기반 상호 인증 및 키 분배 방식과 암호 통신 방법을 제안한다.
운영지원시스템(OSS)과 비즈니스지원시스템(BSS)의 통합 및 연동 기술과 사례 분석

유무선 통신 기술 및 컴퓨팅 기술의 발전은 다양한 기술과 산업의 융합으로 이어지고 있으며, 융합서비스를 위한 다양한 플랫폼 기술들의 연구도 함께 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 통신설비의 공유나 대여 관리 및 플랫폼을 통한 융합 서비스 제공 및 관리가 이루어져야 하는데 효과적인 인프라 관리와 서비스 제공 및 과금 관리를 수행하기 위해서는 융합 서비스 플랫폼 환경에 적합한 OSS/BSS 의 구축이 필요하다. 본 연구는 고비용의 새로운 OSS/BSS 구축보다 기존 통신망 사업자들의 OSS/BSS 의 연동 및 재사용을 통해 효과적인 OSS/BSS 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 OSS/BSS 통합 및 연동을 위한 국내외 연구와 사례들을 분석한다. 본 논문은 융합 서비스 플랫폼을 위한 OSS/BSS 연동 방안을 위한 기초적이고 중요한 기반 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
딕토글로스 활용 수준별 지도가 초등학생 영어능력 신장 및 정의적 영역에 미치는 효과

This study aims to investigate effects of the differentiated instruction using a dictogloss model on elementary school students’ English listening, writing and grammar ability, as well as on the affective domains. The participants of the study were divided into both a controlled group and an experimental group. The experimental group comprised 26 fifth-grade students in Gyeonggi-do. To analyze the effect on the students’ English ability, data related to their English proficiency, such as their listening, writing and grammaticality judgement test results, as well as teaching journals, learning logs and student interviews were collected and analyzed. The findings from the study are as follows. Firstly, the experimental group showed significant improvements in the writing skills test and positive effects in terms of their listening and grammar judgement skills. Secondly, no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group was found in affective domain examination. Finally, the most significant improvements were found within the lower level group but differentiated instruction using the dictogloss model also yielded positive effects on the proficiency of intermediate group students. Based on these findings, some suggestions for how to provide differentiated instructions using a dictogloss model have been made.

본 논문은 향후 임베디드 단말 기기에 탑재되어 실행되는 응용 애플리케이션들이 제 3 자에 의해 개발되어 앱스토어를 통해 배포될 경우, 신뢰성 및 보안 문제 해결을 위해 제 3 자 개발자에 의해 개발된 애드온 애플리케이션들의 접근통제 메커니즘에 대해 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 태스크-플로우 기반 메쏘드 접근제어 모델을 제시하고, X.509 기반의 권한 관리 구조를 통해 임베디드 단말에서 애드온 프로세스의 접근 통제를 위한 구조를 디자인하였다.
