        The fuel tank systems of fixed wing and rotary wing aircrafts require the self-sealing and crash-worthiness for their survivability. For these requirements, the flexible composite fuel tank is generally used. In this study, the drop and penetration performance of a fuel tank is investigated. The FE simulation includes the drop and penetration test of a fuel tank using MSC.DYTRAN. MSC.DYTRAN can provide the fluid-structure modeling of these test from Euler and Lagrange grids. Using MSC.DYTRAN, the finite modeling of the test cube of the flexible fuel tank and its FE simulation are performed for various environments. The simulation results can show if the test cube satisfies the performance requirements of the fuel tank.

        옥상 도시농업에서 메리골드의 동반식재 비율이 배추의 생육 및 해충방제에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to explore companion planting to improve vegetable productivity on extensive green roofs through urban agriculture with limited substrate depth. From May to July 2021, the study conducted on the rooftop to evaluate the effects of marigold (Tagetes patula) planting ratio on the growth and pest control of cabbage (Brassica campestris). The experiment plot measured 1 m in width × 1 m in length × 0.25 m in height and 0.2 m in substrate depth. Fifteen plots were planted in varying proportions of cabbage and marigold for three repetitions per treatment: cabbage control (CC), 2:1(C<sub>2</sub>M<sub>1</sub>), 1:1(C<sub>1</sub>M<sub>1</sub>), 1:2(C<sub>1</sub>M<sub>2</sub>), and marigold control (MC). We found that companion planting marigolds with cabbage significantly increased cabbage growth and reduced pest infestation. The study revealed that C<sub>1</sub>M<sub>1</sub>, when cabbage and marigold have the same proportion, is an efficient companion planting ratio. Companion planting, in which non-crop vegetation manages pests and increases crop productivity, improves natural pest control and preserves biodiversity on rooftop urban agriculture.

      • 일기 변화가 도시공원내의 기상환경에 미치는 영향

        This study compared and examined the effect that meteorological environment is influenced by weather change about various urban parks on the land coverage status and planting stratification. As a result, high temperature areas were found around paced surface. On the other hand, around forest plantation, areas of the low temperature was found. However, even in forest plantation, the temperature was different one another depending on its planting stratification. Especially, the area covered with arbor and sub-arbor showed relatively low temperature. and in a relationship between air temperature and humidity, humidity was correspond to the distribution of air temperature, low wet areas in the high temperature zone and high wet areas in the low temperature zone. In a range of the temperature exchange of a day in the urban park, it has a tendency that the fewer cloud amount has the bigger diurnal temperature range. Also, we found that increasing trees is the effective way in terms of lowing temperature. And, as it was arbor which influenced on lowing temperature the most and sub-arbor was the next, it became obvious that tall trees are the main source of coldness. In the point of view of weather change, this empirical result has higher efficiency in temperature decrease in order to fine weather, partly cloudy weather, and cloudy weather.

        저관리 경량형 옥상녹화에서 유기물 멀칭재 유형에 따른 토양수분과 동자꽃의 생육 특성

        본 연구는 유기물 멀칭재 종류에 따른 토양수분함량과 동자꽃의 생육반응을 비교·분석하여 저관리 옥상녹화에서 멀칭재의 효용성을 알아보고자 수행하였다. 실험구는 멀칭재를 사용하지 않은 대조구 (Cont.; Control)와 코코칩 (C.O; Cocochip), 우드칩(W.O; Woodchip), 짚거적 (S.T; Straw), 톱밥 (S.A; Sawdust) 등, 총 5개의 처리구로 조성하였다. 실험결과, 유기물 멀칭재 유형에 따른 토양수분함량은 W.O > S.T > Cont. > C.O > S.A 순으로 높게 나타났으며, 특히 톱밥에서 유의적 차이를 보였다. 생육 측정 결과, 초장에서 S.T > Cont. > C.O > W.O > S.A의 순으로 생육이 좋았으며, 초장을 제외한 다른 생육항목에서의 멀칭재별 유의적인 차이는 미미하였다. 상대엽록소함량과 체내수분량은 모두 무처리구보다 우수하게 나타나 유기 멀칭재 처리가 동자꽃의 엽록소함량 및 체내수분량 유지에 효과적인 것으로 판단된다. 특히 실험구 내 토양수분함량은 멀칭재 자체의 성질에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타나 저관리 옥상녹화에서 각 식물의 특성에 적합한 멀칭재 사용이 요구되며 수분 스트레스에 약한 수종 선정 시 유기물 멀칭을 통해 극복할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of mulching materials in extensive green roof system by comparing and analyzing the soil moisture content and growth response of Lychnis cognata according to the types of organic mulching materials. The experimental group consisted of a control group that did not use mulching material (Cont.) and a total of five treatment groups, including cocochip (C.O), woodchip (W.O), straw (S.T), and sawdust (S.A), depending on the mulching material. The soil moisture content according to the type of organic mulching material was high in the order of W.O > S.T > Cont. > C.O > S.A, and there was a significant difference especially in S.A. The plant height showed good growth in the order of S.T > Cont. > C.O > W.O > S.A, and there was no significant difference by mulching materials in other growth items except for plant height. Both the chlorophyll and plant water contents were superior to those of untreated group, so the treatment of organic mulching materials is considered to be effective in maintaining the chlorophyll and plant water contents of Lychnis cognata. In particular, the soil moisture content was affected by the characteristics of the mulching material itself. Based on these results, it is required to use a mulching material suitable for the characteristics of each plant in extensive green roof system and it is considered that this can be overcome through organic mulching when selecting a plant species that is weak to water stress.

        캔터키블루그래스와 토끼풀의 파종방법 및 혼파비율에 따른 종자발아 반응

        This study was conducted to evaluate the appropriate sowing method and mixture seeding rate on germination of Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.) and white clover (Trifolium repens L.). The experimental design includes two sowing methods and six mixed seeding per each method: BT<sub>1</sub>:BP<sub>0</sub> (broadcast seeding; B, Trifolium repens; T, Poa pratensis; P), BT<sub>1</sub>:BP<sub>2</sub>, BT<sub>1</sub>:BP<sub>3</sub>, BT<sub>3</sub>:BT<sub>1</sub>, BT<sub>2</sub>:BP<sub>1</sub>, BT<sub>0</sub>:BP<sub>1</sub> and ST<sub>1</sub>:SP<sub>0</sub> (spot seeding; S), ST<sub>1</sub>:SP<sub>2</sub>, ST<sub>1</sub>:SP<sub>3</sub>, ST<sub>3</sub>:ST<sub>1</sub>, ST<sub>2</sub>:SP<sub>1</sub>, ST<sub>0</sub>:SP<sub>1</sub>. The germination was the highest for both species when the seeding rate was higher than other species. In overall, the germination of white clover was higher and faster than Kentucky bluegrass. Two plots, BT<sub>2</sub>:BP<sub>1</sub>, ST<sub>1</sub>:ST<sub>2</sub>, were retained the balanced proportion of the germination rate. Therefore, It was suggested, for maintaining the balanced field, it is better to seed white clover twice Kentucky bluegrass on broadcast seeding and Kentucky bluegrass twice white clover on spot seeding. In regard of sowing method, broadcast seeding is better than spot seeding in terms of increasing the germination. It is necessary to supplement the result for real application by long-term monitoring.

        칠정상(七情傷)으로 인한 두통 환자의 심박변이도(Heart Rate Variabillity)에 관한 고찰

        Objects : To treat psychogenic headache patients, doctors have to amplify on the headache caused by emotional stress to patients, and assist the patients to cope with difficulties. So, we invesgated HRV of the headache patients caused by Chiljungsang and would like to apply to the clinical treatment. Method : Our study measured time and frequency domain HRV indicies(5-min resting study) of 123 headache patients caused by emotional stress. Standardized tests of HRV allow a quantitative esmation of autonomic nervous system function. Results & Conclusions : 1. The study classed as aspects of the head pain showed the differences in RMS-SD(square root of mean squared difference of successive NN intervals) band, HF(high frequency) band significantly. 2. The male headache patients showed higher all the indicies except heart rate compared to the female patients, significantly in SDNN(standard deviation of NN interval), TP(total Power), HF band. 3. As the patients grow older, SDNN, RMS-SD band was lower and LF(low frequency) band, LF/HF ratio higher significantly. The beginning age lower, SDNN, RMS-SD band was higher significantly. The duration of the disease longer, LF band, LF/ HF ratio was higher significantly.

        자연발효 함초액의 이화학적 특성 및 생리활성

        본 연구는 함초를 이용한 응용제품의 하나로 자연발효된 함초발효액에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자, 함초와 당을 혼합하여 2년 혹은 6년간 발효시킨 다음 여과하여 얻어진 여액을 상온에서 자연 발효시키며 함초발효액의 이화학적 특성 및 생리활성을 조사하였다. 함초발효액의 당 함량은 45%내 외로 이는 당침출에 의한 제조 방법 때문이며, Na을 제외한 주요 무기질은 K, Mg 그리고 Ca으로, 그중 K 함량이 가장 높게 나타났다. 주요 유리아미노산은 alanine, proline, aspartic acid 그리고 lysine으로, 이들 일반성분들의 발효기간 에 따른 차이는 거의 없었다. 총페놀성 화합물 함량은 약 50 CAE mg/100 mL이고, DPPH와 ABTS+ radical-scavenging 활성은 ascorbic acid와 거의 유사할 정도의 활성을 보였다. 또한 함초발효액은 ACE 및 α-glucosidase에 대해 서도 저해 활성을 보였으며, 특히 α-glucosidase 저해 활성 은 장기 발효된 함초발효액(LFGJ)에서 좀 더 높은 활성을 나타냈다. 이에 장기 발효된 함초발효액(LFGJ)을 4%의 고염식이군 실험쥐(SD rat)에 급여한 결과, 일반적인 특성은 대조군(4% 고염식이군)과 차이가 없었으나, 함초발효액군 (FGJ; 4% 고염식이+2% LFGJ)의 체중증가량이 통계적 유의성은 없었으나 더 낮은 경향을 보였고, 포도당 내성 실험 결과, 함초발효액군(FGJ)에서 포도당 내성이 더 개선되는 것으로 조사되었다. We investigated the physicochemical properties and physiological activities of glasswort juice fermented naturally for different periods of time. Glasswort juice fermented for six years (LFGJ) showed higher crude fiber and lower NaCl content than glasswort juice fermented for two years (SFGJ). Fermented glasswort juice contained K, Mg, and Ca as the main minerals, and the mineral content in both SFGJ and LFGJ were similar. The main free amino acids of fermented glasswort juice were determined to be alanine, proline, aspartic acid, and lysine. The leucine and aspartic acid content in LFGJ was higher than that in SFGJ. SFGJ had higher 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2"-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS+) radical-scavenging activities than LFGJ. Fermented glasswort juice showed high ACE inhibition and α-glucosidase inhibition activities regardless of how long it was fermented. An oral glucose tolerance test was carried out in rats fed diets containing 4% NaCl (control) or 4% NaCl+2% LFGJ (LFGJ). The LFGJ group showed enhanced glucose tolerance compared to the control group.
