Studies of phase separation on a 68(M%) B2O3, 17(M%) BaO, 15(M%) Fe2O3 glass have been investigated by employing small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS)techniques. Studies of the precipitated particle size are performed on the single composition of glass, heat treated at 590℃ for different heat treatment times. In the early stages of phase separation, SAXS revealed the presence of a single sized particle present at the inhomogeneity in the heat treated glass matrix. For long heat treatment times, SAXS is able to reveal the presence of two different particle size in the heat treated specimens, and to give information about the diameter of the particles involved. Atte mpting to fit the SAXS data to a reasonable distribution. It is, for example, found that lognormal distribution function is not successful, particulerly for long heat treatment.
S, J, K 주파수영역에서 MgFe₂O₄ 단결정의 강자성공명 연구

We have manufactured FMR spectrometer over wide range(2-35 ㎓). In order to test FMR spectrometer, resonance absorption has been measured of the standard sample DPPH. The Q vaules of absorption line are 189-1096. As a result, We noticed that FMR spectrometer has been manufactured well. FMR studies of MgFe₂O₄ single crystal have been performed at S, J, K-band. The resonance lines have been observed for the each orientation of (100) plane at 300 K. The values of the magnetic anisotropy constant K₁ and the spectroscopic splitting g valule have been calculated from the ferromagnetic resonance curve, -2.9×10⁴erg/㎤, 2.02 at 23.89 ㎓, -2.2×10⁴erg/㎤, 1.89 at 5.3 ㎓ and -2.8×10⁴erg/㎤, 2.01 at 3.6 ㎓.

77 K와 상온에서 Cu₂O의 Cu-NQR 신호들을 관측하였다. 77 K에서 공명 진동수 V(?Cu)는 26.7027 MHz 이고, V(?Cu)는 24.7129 MHz 이며, 상온에서는 V(?Cu)가 25.9862 MHz이고, V(?Cu)가 24.0534 MHz이었다. ?Cu와 ?Cu의 공명 진동수의 비 [V(?Cu)/ V(?Cu)]는 77K에서 0.9255이고, 상온에서 0.9256이어서 ?Cu와 ?Cu의 핵 사중극 모멘트의 비[Q(?Cu)/ Q(?Cu)=0.9375]와 비슷했다. 각각의 공명진동수에서 스핀-에코신호들을 관측하였으며, 스핀-격자 완화시간 T₂를 구하였다. T₁은 종적인 완화가 느린 T? 과 완화가 빠른 T?로 구분되었다. ?Cu 경우는 77K에서 T?은 24 s, T?는 395 ms, T₂가 82㎲이고, 상온에서는 T?이 2 s, T?는 94ms 그리고 T₂는 87㎲이다. ?Cu에 대해서는 77 K에서 T?이 5 s, T?는 794 ms, T₂와 71 ㎲이며 상온에서 T?은 2 s, T?는 74ms 그리고 T₂는 82㎲이다. Cu-NQR signals in Cu₂O have been measured at 77 K and temperature. The resonance frequencies were found to be V(?Cu)=26.7027 MHz and V(?Cu)=24.7129 MHz at 77 K, while at room temperature V(?Cu)=25.9862 MHz and V(?Cu)=24.0534 MHz. The rate of resonance frequency between ?Cu and ?Cu[ V(?Cu)/V(?Cu)]is 0.9255 at 77 K and 0.9256 at room temperature, which is similar with the rate of nuclear quadrupole moment [ Q(?Cu)/Q(?Cu)=0.9375]. We observed spin-echo signals at each resonance frequency and determined the spin-lattice relaxation time T₁and spin-spin relaxation time T₂is classified into T?(long longitudinal relaxation) and T?(short longitudinal relaxation). In case of ?Cu, T? is 24 s, T? is 395 ms and T₂is 82 ㎲ at 77 K and T? is 2 s, T₁? is 94 ms and T₂is 87 ㎲ at room temperature. For ?Cu T? is 5 s, T? is 794 ms and T₂is 71 ㎲ at 77 K and T? is 2 s, T? is 74 ms and T₂is 82 ㎲ at room temperature.

Nd_xFe_(77)B_(23-x)(x = 4, 6, 8, 11, 13) alloys were prepared by rapid quenching technique. They were crystallized at higher than 650℃ and subsequently the magnetic properties were investigated. The melt-spun alloy of x=8 consisted of nearly single metastable compound Nd₂Fe₂₃B₃ and showed the soft magnetic property. In 8≤x≤13 alloys, the coercivities were increased according to the increase of Nd content but the remanences decreased. In 4≤x≤6 alloys, the coercivities and the remanences were increased by lowering Nd content. In x = 4 alloy, the ratio of soft to hard magnetic phase was 70 : 30 and the energy product was 96 kJ / ㎥ (12MG.Oe).

68(M%) B₂O₃ 17(M%) BaO, 15(M%) Fe₂O₃ 유리에 대한 相分離 연구를 低角 X-線散亂으로써 연구하였다. 析出된 粒子의 크기를 여러가지 열처리 시간에 대해 일정한 온도 590℃에서 유리의 단일성분에 대해서 실험을 하였다. 低角 X-線散亂을 쪼이면 相分離 초기에는 熱處理된 유리母體에 이물질인 단일 성장된 粒子가 나타난다. 그리고 장기간 열처리 한것에 SAXS을 쪼이면 열처리된 시료에 두개의 다른 입자가 나타남을 보이고 또 입자에 대한 직경도 계산할 수 있다. SAXS 실험치료를 적절한 分布함수에 적용하여 보면 특히 對數分布함수에는 장기간 열처리한 것에 대해서는 알맞지 못함을 알 수 있다. V_2O_5-B_2O_3-Al_2O_3 유리계의 B^11 핵자기 공명에 관한 연구

The phase diagram of the V_2O_5―B_2O_3 and V_2O_5―B_2O_3―Al_2O_3 glass system has been accomplished. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques have been employed to investigate the environment of boron in the ternary glass system. The B^11 NMR spectra in the xV_2O_5 (95-x) B_2O_3 5Al_2O_3 and xV_2O_5 (90-x)B_2O_3 10Al_2O_3 glass system exhibit both broad line characteristic of BO_3 unit with bridging oxygens and narrow resonance line due to the borons in four coordinated to oxygens.
