In the wake of a surge of cases of microcephaly and Guillain-Barre syndrome in Brazil, association of which with Zika virus infection has now been confirmed, the World Health Organization declared ‘Public Health Emergency of International Concern’. Once an obscure mosquito-borne virus due to mildness of the disease caused by the virus, Zika has become a virus that humanity must overcome with an all-out effort. In this article, we briefly review current knowledge of the virus, the vector, the epidemiological situation and the response strategy. In the context of general understanding of the virus and public health crisis, we highlight three papers that have been seminal in terms of confirming the apparent association of Zika virus infection and the neurological manifestations such as microcephaly and Guillain-Barre syndrome, and bringing attention to a possibility of a different way of the Zika infection-mediated neurological manifestation such as acute myelitis.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the meaning of learning presented in the Analects of Confucius. The Korean education mainly focuses on memorisation is devastating to the lives of students. And it has created an educational environment that is focused on value of means rather than essential purpose of education. Student’s learning has been recognized as labor and as means for obtaining a job. The purpose of their learning is success in life. It is also natural for parents to look for a ranking that compares schools and test scores. Most ordinary students are studying hard without knowing what they really like. Only it is determined within the social structure created by others for their own lives. Even though It is very difficult to learn but they have to endure. In the first chapter of the Analects of Confucius, it says that “learning is pleasant”, however, it doesn’t say what learning is about. So, look at the Lunyujizhu, which reveals the knowledge on the Bokgichyo. It is to recover one’s own nature, and it is in this state you obtained infinite spiritual freedom. In the Analects of Confucius, Learning target is his own and learning is self-realization. It is also humanization for learning in an ontological sense. The way of human being of an ontological sense will be obtained the Ren. It will be acquired in the near routine. If you want to practice Ren, it is revealed on the spot. Because Ren is in the mind. The acquisition of it refers to the character building. And it reveals the attitude to enjoy the life. it is specifically mentioned in the Confucious, Anyeon, Chu Tzu of the dialogues. The Confucian learning through each of the dialogues has found that self-cultivation and pleasure are obtained at the same time. Confucious, Chu Tzu, of Anyeon the pleasure is presented to us next. It is the basis of learning and opens up a new horizon of learning. Today, we should practice the spirit of learning presented in the Analects of Confucius. And it has to change a new paradigm for learning. We should learn how to enjoy the pleasures of existence. It should be pleasure to learn. We will have to open up new horizons of learning that includes internal self-cultivation.

이 논문은 4차 산업혁명 시대의 도래 선언과 관련하여 [격몽요결]의 관점에서 교육의 방향성에 대해 고찰하고 있다. 먼저, 4차 산업혁명의 시대에 제기되는 교육 담론을 두 가지로 살펴본다. 첫 번째는 디지털-피지컬 통합의 세계와 개인의 문제이다. 디지털-피지컬 통합으로 만들어진 가상의 세계에서는 관계의 진정성, 가상세계의 중독, 자기 성찰 능력의 상실과 같은 문제 점들이 제기될 것으로 보인다. 두 번째는 사회-산업계의 논리와 교육의 문제를 다루고 있다. 최근 4차 산업혁명 시대와 관련된 많은 연구물에서는 교육의 역할을 수단적 관점으로 접근하는 문제점이 있다. [격몽요결]은 이와 같은 문제점과 관련하여 다음과 같은 시사점을 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 교육을 본질적 관점에서 접근하고 있다. 교육의 역할은 4차 산업혁명 시대를 완성하기 위한 보조적인 수단이 아니라, 4차 산업혁명에서 파생되는 제품들이 오히려 사람다움의 교육에 활용되어야 한다. 둘째, 사람다움의 교육은 디지털-피지컬 통합의 시대에 제기된 문제점을 해결해 줄 것으로 기대된다. 그 구체적인 방법으로는 입지, 혁구습, 지신을 제시한다. 이와 같은 논의를 근거로 4차 산업혁명의 시대가 도래하더라도 사람다움의 교육은 여전히 중요한 문제가 된다는 사실을 알 수 있다. This paper examines the direction of education from the viewpoint of Gyeokmongyogyeol with regard to the declaration of the 4th industrial revolution era. In order to proceed with the discussion, I look at two possible educational discourse that could take place in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. First, I deal with the personal problems that could arise in the world of digital-physical integration. It will arise problems such as the authenticity of relationships, the addiction of virtual worlds, and the loss of self-reflection ability in the world of digital-physical integration. Second, I deal with the problem of education derived from the logic of society and industry. There is a problem that the role of education is approached from the view point of being able to satisfy the needs of society and industry in recent researches related to the fourth industrial revolution era. Gyeokmongyogyeol can draw implications in relation to such problems. First, Gyeokmongyogyeol approaches education from an essential point of view. The role of education is not an auxiliary means to complete the era of the Fourth Industrial. Second, Saramdaum Education is expected to solve the problems derived from the era of digital-physical integration. Based on this discussion, I can draw the following conclusions. Even though the era of the fourth industrial revolution has come, Saramdaum Education is still an important issue.
