본 연구에서는 폴리우레탄폼 제조시 사용되는 첨가제가 폴리우레탄폼의 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 실험에 사용된 수지는 KONIX FA-703 폴리에테르폴리올(80%)과, KONIX FA-733 폴리에테르폴리올(20%)에 촉매, 계면활성제, 가료제 등을 혼합하여 제조하였으며, 이 수지에 이소시아네이트(TDI-80, prepolymer M-200, pure MDI)를 당량비로 첨가하여 발포시킨 폼을 상온에서 72시간 경화시킨 후 물성측정에 사용하였다. 폴리우에탄폼의 기계적 물성은 밀도, 인장강도, 인열강도, 신장율, 흡음율 및 gel profile을 조사함으로써 측정하였고, 셀 크기에 대한 계면활성제의 영향은 주사전자현미경(SEM)을 사용하여 측정하였다. 흡음율은 셀의 크기와 직접적인 관련이 있었으며, 계면활성제(L-5309)의 사용량에 따른 인장강도, 인열강도 및 흡음율 등 기계적 물성은 1.0pphp 까지는 첨가량이 많아질수록 증가하는 경향을 보이다가 점차 감소하였다. The effect of additives on the mechanical properties of polyurethane foam were investigated. The resin used in this study was prepared by adding catalyst, surfactant and cross-linker to both KONIX FA-703 polyether polyol(80%) and KONIX FA-733 polyether polyol(20%). The polyurethane was foamed by adding equivalent amount of isocyanate(TDI-80, prepolymer M-200, pure MDI) to the resin and was used in property measurements after 72 hours harderung. The physical properties of polyurethane foam were investigated in terms of density, tensile strength, tear strength, elongation, sound absorption coefficient and gel profile measurements. The effects of surfactant on the cell size was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The sound absorption coefficient was directly related to the cell size. The physical properties were improved with increasing amount of surfactant(L-5309) until 1.0 part per hundred polyol(1.0pphp)

This study have investigated the effect of various factors related to the physical properties of vulcanizated rubber compounds. rubber type, carbon black type and carbon black loading were selected as main factors and evaluation were tested by tables of orthogonal arrays with 3 factors and 3 levels. rubber types have affected cure time, tensile strength, and T_g as main factor and carbon black loading have affected viscosity, scorch time, maximum torque, hardness, 300% modulus, rebound, heat build-up, 0 & 60℃ tangent delta, PICO and CUT/CHIP loss as main factor but the effects of carbon black type have affected only bound rubber content.
실리카가 도핑된 카본블랙을 함유한 고무조성물의 물성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this experiments were investigated on the physical properties of rubber compounds containing two types carbon black. Bound rubber and interaction coefficient for compounds with pure carbon black were higher than those for the compounds with dual phase carbon black. Slightly higher values in 300% modulus and tensile strength indicated that the ratio of rubber-filler bound to rubber-rubber bound of pure carbon black were higher than those of compounds with dual phase carbon black. It was founded that dynamic properties, that is rebound, heat build-up, 0 & 60℃ tan δ, and cut and chip loss of compounds with dual phase carbon black were better than those of compounds with pure carbon black, but abrasion property of dual phase carbon black was lower than those of pure carbon black because of low reinforcing ability.
ETBE ( Ethyl Tert - Butyl Ether ) 합성에 대한 헤테로폴리산 촉매의 특성

가솔린 옥탄가 향상제인 ETBE(ethyl tert-butyl ether) 합성반응의 촉매활성과 촉매의 산특성에 대한 상관성 및 반응특성에 관하여 연구하였다. pyridine의 흡착량과 TBA전화율은 좋은 상관성을 보였지만, NH_3의 흡착량과 TBA전화율은 전이금속과 complex를 형성하는 NH_3의 흡착특성 때문에, 전이금속의 경우는 선형적인 상관성을 나타내지 않았다. 담지촉매의 경우, 담지량에 따른 촉매활성과 생성물 분포는 반응물인 TBA 또는 iso-butene의 흡착특성이 중요한 역할을 하였다. Reaction characteristics and correlations between the acidic property and catalytic activity of heteropoly acid catalyst on ETBE synthesis as a gasoline octane enhancer were investigated. The amount of pyridine adsorbed on heteropoly acid catalyst and catalytic activity in the synthesis of ETBE showed a good correlation. But, ammonia failed to show such a correlation because of the complex formation of ammonia adsorbed and transition metal ions. In the case of supported catalyst, catalytic activity and product distribution were mainly affected by the adsorption characteristics of TBA or iso-butene.
고체산 촉매에 의한 가솔린 옥탄가 향상제인 ETBE ( Ethyl tert - Butyl Ether ) 합성

TBA(tert-butyl alcohol)와 ethanol로부터 고체산 촉매상에서 가솔린 옥탄가 향상제인 ETBE(ethyl tert-butyl ether)의 기상 합성반응에 관하여 연구하였다. 헤테로폴리산 촉매가 제올라이트계 촉매보다 활성이 우수하였으며, H_4Siw_(12)O_(40)촉매는 현재 공업적으로 이용되고 있는 Amberlyst-15 수지촉매의 대체가능성을 보였다. 또한 전이금속 양이온으로 교환된 헤테로폴리산 촉매는 수소환원에 의한 새로운 산점의 생성 및 증가에 따라 촉매활성이 크게 증가되었다. 이러한 수소환원 효과는 촉매의 환원특성과 관계되며, 환원 용이성은 Ag^+>Cu^(2+)>Fe^(2+)의 순서였다. Vapor-phase ETBE(ethyl tart-butyl ether) synthesis from TBA(tert-butyl alcohol) and ethanol was carried out over solid acid catalysts such as heteropoly acids and proton type zeolites. Heteropoly acids were more active than proton type zeolites and H_4SiW_(12)O_(40) catalyst showed about the same activity as Amberlyst-15 ion exchange resin catalyst used as an industrial catalyst in ETBE synthesis. The catalytic activity of transition metal exchanged heteropoly acids was greatly enhanced, because new acid site was generated with hydrogen reduction. This effect of hydrogen reduction was related to the reduction characteristics of catalysts and the order of reducibility was Ag^+>Cu^(2+)>Fe^(2+).
