한국어교원 자격 취득 학과의 실태 분석 및 제안

2005년 국어 기본법에 따라 한국어교원 자격증 제도가 시행된 이후 국내 4년제 대학의 학부과정에 한국어교원 자격을 취득할 수 있는 학과들이 속속 생겨나고 있다. 2004년 당시 4개교에서 출발하여 2012년에 25개교에 이르는 급성장을 하는 과정에서 이 학과들은 단일한 정체성을 갖지 못하고 다양한 설치 실태 및 교육과정 개설 양상을 보여 주고 있다. 학과 명칭도 다양하고 소속 단과 대학도 제각각이며 개설된 교과목에도 상당한 편차가 있다. 물론 교육과정은 국어기본법에 준하여 운영되지만 세부적으로 문제점도 드러나 표준교육과정을 제안할 필요가 있었고, 소속 단과 대학이나 학과 명칭이 나아갈 바에 대한 제안도 필요하였다. 본고는 이러한 실제적인 요구에 따라 국내 25개 대학 학부과정 한국어 교육 전공 학과들의 실태를 상세히 조사?보고함으로써 추후 설립될 한국어 교육 전공 학과들이 나아갈 방향을 제시하고 한국어 교육 학과들의 위상 정립을 위해 바람직한 학과 명칭과 소속 단과대학에 대하여 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. There are 25 departments of which students are enable to gain the teacher certification of Korean language for foreigners. In this paper we analysed two aspects of these departments. One is which college the departments are belonged to, and how diverse the practical names of the departments are. The other is that which subjects are served in the curriculum of the departments. Based on these two ways of analysis, we maintain the ideal name of the department and college, and suggest the desirable curriculum.

Characteristics of Effective Teachers in L2 Acquisition

This study reviews state-of-the-art research on the characteristics of effective teachers in L2 acquisition and proposes a model for second language teacher education. The purpose of this study will be stated in section I. In section II, the characteristics of effective teachers in the domain of general education will be described, followed by the characteristics of effective teachers in L2 acquisition in section III. Then in section IV, a model for second language teacher education will be explored with the focus on three effective teacher characteristics: subject matter knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and socio-affective skills. Finally, conclusions of this study will be made in section V.

패널분석을 이용한 거시경제변수가 오피스시장에 미치는 영향 연구 : 임대료, 투자수익률, 공실률을 중심으로

In the age of continuous low interest rate, there is an increasing interest in office market as an investment market for creating benefits. However, information on office market is insufficient. Moreover, information presented by private enterprises lacks credibility, because the sample adopted by each enterprise is different, and the materials presented also vary. The Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs has presented different indices through Korea Appraisal Board. Despite their public confidence, there is no correlation with macroeconomic indicators, which is an external factor of real estate. Therefore, further research is required for stable investment. This study conducted panel analysis, based on the office market of Seoul and 6 metropolitan cities from the first quarter of 2009 to the second quarter of 2018 provided by the Korea Appraisal Board, to analyze the influence of macroeconomic indicators on office buildings rent, return on investment, and vacancy rate. It was found that in a model in which the rent was set as a dependent variable, consumer price index had a positive effect while money supply(M2), market rate and Econmc sentiment index had a negative effect. In a model in which return on investment was set as a dependent variable, consumer price index, market rate and Economic sentiment index had a positive effect. Lastly, in a model in which vacancy rate was set as a dependent variable, money supply (M2) had a positive effect while consumer price index and market rate had a negative effect. This shows that macroeconomic indicators must be considered when analyzing an office market.

우리나라 영어 학습자들을 대상으로 동기측정(Motivation Scales) 도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 조사

MSLQ(Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire)의 동기측정 도구는 교육학 분야에서 널리 사용되어 왔다. 이 연구는 우리나라에서 영어를 공부하고 있는 291명의 대학생들을 대상으로 동기측정 도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 조사하였고 다음과 같은 발견을 하였다. 첫째, 크론바 알파로 측정한 동기측정 도구 세부 항목의 신뢰도는 0.57과 0.90 사이로 수용 가능한 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 확인적 요인 분석으로 측정한 동기측정 도구의 적합도는 다양하였지만 수용할 만한 수준이었다. 셋째, 평균분산추출과 합산신뢰도로 측정한 동기측정 도구의 집중타당도는 각각 수용한 만한 수준인 0.5와 0.7 보다 약간 낮게 나타났다. 이 연구 결과는 우리나라에서 영어를 학습하고 있는 대학생들을 대상으로 동기측정도구를 사용하기 위해서는 연구목적에 따라 일부 문항이나 세부 요인을 수정 후 사용할 필요성을 시사해주었다. The Motivation Scales in the MSLQ (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire) have been widely used in the domain of general education. This study assessed the Motivation Scales among 291 university students learning English in Korea with the focus on reliability and validity. The findings of this study were as follows: First, the reliability of the motivation subscales as measured by Cronbach’s alpha was acceptable, ranging between 0.57 and 0.90. Second, the model fit after performing confirmatory factor analysis varied but could be acceptable, depending on each fit index. Third, the average variance extracted and the composite reliability to determine the convergent validity of the Motivation Scales was, in general, slightly lower than the recommended levels of 0.5 and 0.7, respectively. These findings imply that the Motivation Scales, if used with revisions in terms of item and scale levels in accordance with research purposes, can better fit to measure students’ motivation for learning English in the Korean context.

언어능력, 듣기, 읽기의 상관관계와 이론적 시사점

  This study investigated the correlations among English language ability (ELA), listening comprehension (LC), and reading comprehension (RC) using the practice TOEIC test scores of 168 university students learning English in Korea. Results showed that the correlations among ELA, LC, and RC in the total group were significant and that the correlations between LC and RC in the upper ELA group and in the lower ELA group were almost identical. These findings lend support to the bottom-up process which refers to information processing from the bottom (lower units) up (higher units) and the unitary model which postulates that the same comprehension process underlies both L2 listening comprehension and L2 reading comprehension.

불안감과 외향적/내향적 성격이 영어 말하기 성취도에 미치는 영향

This study investigated the latent constructs of the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS), followed by the potential effects of anxiety and the extroversion/introversion personality trait on English speaking achievement. Participants were 107 university students learning English in Korea, and data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. One of the findings was that the items of the FLCAS consisted of two latent constructs: Communication Apprehension and Understanding and Communication Apprehension and Confidence. Another finding was that only Communication Apprehension and Understanding significantly influenced the extroversion/introversion personality trait and speaking achievement. However, the paths from the construct of Communication Apprehension and Understanding to the personality trait to speaking achievement failed to reach a significance level. These findings were discussed in depth, and further study areas to be explored in the future were suggested.

협동학습에 관한 최근 연구의 고찰과 영어 읽기 교육에 관한 협동학습 모형 제안

이 연구에서는 협동학습의 개념을 명확히 이해하기 위해 협동학습과 협력학습의 차이를 설명하고 주로 대학 영어 읽기 교육에서 협동학습에 관해 광범위하게 진행된 최근 연구를 정서적 영역, 동기영역, 학습 분위기로 나누어 살펴보았다. 그 결과 상기한 세 영역 간의 상호 관계를 통해 독해력이 향상되었는데 구체적으로 협동학습 결과 나타난 우호적인 학습 분위기가 학습자의 정서와 동기에 긍정 적인 영향을 끼쳐 영어 독해력이 상승되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 영어 독해 수업에 적용될 수 있는 원리를 내재한 협동학습 모형을 개발하였고, 이 모형을 바탕으로 실제 영어 독해 수업에 적용될 수 있는 수업안을 제시하였다. 이 연구 결과는 협동학습이 영어 독해 교육에 미치는 효과에 관해 이론적 이해와 실제적 활용에 기여하리라 생각한다. This study serves two purposes: First, it attempted to compare definitions of cooperative and collaborative leaning. Second, the study reviewed recent literature regarding the influences of cooperative learning applied in EFL English reading classes, classifying the influences into three categories: affective factors, motivation, and friendly and supportive learning atmosphere. Through the course of the reviewing the influences of the cooperative learning, the study found that the friendly and supportive learning atmosphere of cooperative learning contributed to students’ affective factors and motivation positively. As a result of the review, a cooperative learning model with supportive learning atmosphere affecting students’ affective factors and motivation, on which practicable English reading class plan could be drawn. Through this study, cooperative learning can be shown as an effective learning method for achieving the goal of English reading education.

광주광역시 지하철 소음실태 조사연구
