Transmission loss of the simple expansion chamber with multiple inlet and outlet ports is obtained. Transfer matrices which represent the relation between the power variables(pressure and velocity) of inlets and outlets depend on the input relatons as well as the acoustic system parameters(i.e. geometry of the chamber, wall admittance, etc.). The analysis has been performed analytically, including the effects of higher order modes for the 2-inlet/1-outlet, 1-inlet/2-outlet and 2-inlet/2-outlet systems. This study yeilds that phase difference between the inlet ports can significantly increase the transmission loss in low frequency range.

자동차의 저소음 보기류 구동 시스템을 개발하는 체계적인 방법론이 전산해석과 리그 실험을 통해 제시되었다. 벨트 구동 소음 예측의 두 가지 난제는 1) 벨트와 풀리 접촉면에서의 스틱-슬립 비선형성과 2) 벨트 구동 시스템과 파워트레인 회전진동계와의 연성이다. 본 연구에서는 최근 개발된 해석 방법을 이용하여 벨트 구동시스템과 엔진 회전진동계를 통합한 해석 모델을 구축하였고, 다양한 파워트레인 운전 조건에서 정합성을 확보하였다. 통합 모델을 이용하여 스틱-슬립 소음이 발생하는 벨트 시스템을 개선할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 새로운 방법론을 통해 신엔진 개념설계에서 NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), 기능, 연비 등을 고려한 개념 설계안을 제시하였다. A systematic development process for the low noise FEAD (Front End Accessory Drive) system is presented by combining CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) and the experimental rig test. In the estimation of the belt drive noise, two main difficulties arise from the high non-linearity due to the stick-slip contacts on the interfaces of the belt and pulleys, and the interaction of the belt drive system with the powertrain rotational parts. In this work, a recently developed analysis method of the belt drive has been employed considering powertrain rotational dynamics. As results, it shows good correlation with the vehicle tests in various operational modes. The established model has been employed to validate the new design improving the stick-slip noise of the problematic FEAD system. Furthermore, the best proposal of FEAD system in terms of functionality [NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), fuel economy, cost. etc.] has been suggested in the concept design stage of new engine through this presented methodology.

This paper aims to provide an alternative to restructuring local government systems of Korea based on related cases and a survey of political elites. The proposal of this study includes integrating current 16 higher-level local entities (Si and Do) into eight provinces (Do) and 230 lower-level local units (Si-Gun-Gu) into about 70 cities. The new higher-level local governments are to be given authorities over establishing and implementing long-term regional development plans and coordinating conflicting local interests to achieve balanced regional development. The survey respondents expressed positive views on restructuring of local government systems. But it seems inevitable to see the conflicts between the values of democracy and participatory approach and the values of economy and efficiency in the process of this restructuring task.
고추재배지에서 퇴비시용에 따른 토양 미생물의 인지질지방산 변화

퇴비 등의 유기물 시용은 화학적, 생물적 토양 특성을 변화시킬 수 있으나 그 성분함량과 시용량에 따라 다를 수 있다. 고추 주산지인 경북 영양의 미사질 양토에서 퇴비 0, 30, 60 Mg ㏊?¹를 시용하였을 때 토양의 미생물상의 변화를 인지질지방산 분석을 통해 분석하였다. 퇴비 시용량 30과 60 Mg ㏊?¹을 무처리와 각각 비교하였을 때 세균, 사상균, 균근균 지표지방산의 양은 유의성있는 증가를 보였으며 사상균/세균의 지방산 비와 불포화/포화지방산의 비도 각각 증가하였다. 그러나, 퇴비 시용량의 증가는 그람?/그람? 세균 지방산의 비는 증가시켰으나 불포화/포화지방산의 비는 감소시켰다. 퇴비는 토양의 화학성과 미생물 군락을 부분적으로 증가시킬 수 있으나, 퇴비량의 증가는 미생물 군락의 구조만을 변화시킬 수 있었다. Compost as a soil amendment is of importance in enhancing the soil chemical and microbial qualities; however, soil microbial community can vary depending on the composition, and the amount of compost applied to plant in the soil. Responses of soil microbial properties to compost applications with 0, 30, and 60 Mg ㏊?¹ were investigated in silt loam soils where red pepper(Capsicum annuum L.) was mainly cultivated in Yeongyang, Gyeongbuk, Korea. The analysis of phospholipid fatty acids (PLFAs) extracted from soil showed that compost amounts significantly increased PLFAs representing as bacteria, fungi, and VAM-fungi as well as the ratio of fungi/bacteria, and monounsaturated/saturated PLFAs. Increasing the amount of compost significantly increased Gram-/Gram+ PLFAs’ ratio, but significantly decreased monounsaturated/saturated PLFAs’ ratio. Therefore, this result shows that compost would vary to a limited extent the microbial community in red pepper field. However, increase in compost application would change the subgroup structure of microbial community only.
