닭과 돼지에서 분리한 Salmonella Typhimurium의 항생제 내성 특성 분석

Fifty and forty two Salmonella enterica subspecies enterica serovar 52 Typhimurium (ST) strains were isolated from chicken and pigs, respectively, collected from markets throughout Korea from 2008 to 2011. The isolates were investigated for the presence of antimicrobial resistance and multi-drug patterns. All 50 ST isolates from chicken and 42 ST isolates from pigs were resistant to at least one of 13 antibiotics used in this study, 92.0% of ST isolates from chicken and 88.1% of ST isolates from pigs were resistant to three or more antimicrobials. As many as 3 isolates of ST isolates from chicken were resistant to 11 of 13 antimicrobials tested in this study. Only one isolate of ST isolates from pigs was resistant to 10 of 13 antimicrobials. The ACSSuT resistance phenotype was observed in 34% of the 50 isolates and 23.8% of the 42 isolates. Especially, 1 isolate from pigs had the ACSSuTAu. The high rate of antimicrobial-resist and multi-drug resistant (MDR) ST isolation may give rise to crucial public health problems. Therefore, control of antimicrobial use, and continuous monitoring of antimicrobial resistance and MDR patterns among Salmonella isolates in chicken and pig farms is necessary to ensure public health.
방광외상 : 복막내 및 복막외 파열의 임상적 의의는 같은가 ?

Purpose : To investigate whether the difference of the clinical significance is present or not between the traumatized patient with intraperitoneal and extraperitoneal bladder rupture. Materials and Methods : We reviewed 49 cases of traumatic intraperitoneal(IP) and extraperitoneal(EP) bladder rupture admitted to our hospital from Jan. 1992 to July 1997, and compared the clinical parameters such as cause of injury, clinical manifestations, injury severity score(ISS), major injured organ, admission rate to non-urologic department and morality rate. Results : Between the patients with intraperitoneal and extraperitoneal rupture, no significant difference were present in the cause of injury, clinical manifestations and mortality rate, but the rate of associated injury including pelvic bone fracture was occurred higher in the extraperitoneal rupture. When determined the main injured organ in the patients with bladder rupture, the rate of bladder was higher in the intraperitoneal rupture , the rate of bladder rupture taking in the injury severity score(ISS) per each traumatized patient was also larger in the intraperitoneal ruphre(p<0.05). Conclusions : Our results suggest that the clinical significance is different between the patients with intraperitoneal and extraperitoneal bladder rupture. The extraperitoneal rupture is considered as minor associated injury of other organ injury in many cases and relative clinical importance is smaller than that of intraperitoneal rupture.

In patients with traumatized scrotum, the decsion whether to continue medical therapy or explore surgically is difficult. We have experienced 36 cases of scrotal trauma during the period frorn Jan. 1991 to Dec. 1994. The most common cause of the scrotal trauma was traffic accident and the next was kicking. The incidence of testicular rupture in patients with scrotal trauma was 33.3%. We reviewed 24 operated cases of scrotal trauma, 18 cases of them were evaluated with ultrasonography preoperatively. 9 of 10 cases with the rupture of tunica albuginea were correctly diagnosed by ultrasonography. We suggest that the scrotal ultrasonography is necessary preoperatively in scrotal trauma and testicular salvage rates can be improved markedly when early surgical correction of a ruptured tunica albuginea is performed.

고온고압용 autoclave에서 $Na_2CO_3$를 광화제로 하여 청색수정 단결정을 수열성장하고, 성장온도와 코발트 함입량과의 관계를 고찰하였다. $5wt.\%$의 $Na_2CO_3$ 수열용액, $343^{\circ}C$의 성장온도, $22^{\circ}C$의 온도구배, 950기압의 조건에서 $100{\times}50{\times}35mm^3$ 크기의 청색수정을 성장하였으며, 성장속도는 0.55 mm/day였다. 가시영역에서의 흡수 스펙트럼을 측정한 결과 545, 570 및 643 nm 근처에서 흡수피크가 관찰되었다. 청색의 농도는 원료내 코발트의 농도와는 무관하며 성장온도와 밀접한 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. Single crystals of Co-doped quartz (blue quartz) were grown hydrothermally from the $Na_2CO_3$ solution. The size of as-grown crystal was $100{\times}50{\times}35mm^3$ and the growth rate was 0.55 mm/day under the growth condition of $5wt.\%\;Na_2CO_3$ mineralizer, growth temperature of $343^{\circ}C$ and temperature gradient of $22^{\circ}C$. Visible spectrum showed a typical absorption feature of the synthetic blue quartz near 545, 570 and 643 nm. The concentration of color of the as-grown blue quartz related not to the concentration of cobalt in raw material but to the growth temperature.
