홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 음악교육에서 인성교육 비교연구

이 논문은 인간의 전인적 발달과 인성 함양을 목적으로 하는 홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 음악교육의 인성교육을 비교하여, 홀리스틱 인성 함양에 음악교육 유리드믹스의 적합성을 연구하였다. 홀리스틱 교육은 ‘관계성’에 입각한 전인교육이며, 유리드믹스 교육은 몸·마음·영혼의 유기적 관계를 바탕으로 하는 음악교육으로서 예술인성교육의 가치를 지니고 있다. 그러므로 첫째, 예술교육과 인성교육 그리고 예술·인성교육의 정의와 예술·인성교육의 현황과 가치를 기술하였다. 둘째, 홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 교육의 이론적 배경과 두 교육의 연관성을 분석하였다. 그리고 홀리스틱 교육과 유리드믹스 교육이 가지는 인성교육적 함의에 대하여 개인적 차원, 관계적 차원, 사회 공동체적 차원, 생태학적 차원으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 그동안 우리나라 일부의 본질적인 의미를 상실한 경쟁구도의 기계적인 주입식 교육은 소통의 단절, 인간 소외에 의한 문제로 최근 사회적으로 인성교육에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 홀리스틱 유리드믹스 예술인성교육은 기존 교육방식이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하는 동시에, 더 나은 방향의 교육의 방법이자 올바른 인간상을 길러 내는 본질적인 교육을 위한 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다. The following thesis is the study of the comparison between holistic education, where in strives for a human’s holistic development and cultivation as purpose, and eurhythmics education’s personality education, and how compatible it is to holistic’s personality cultivation. Therefore firstly, artistic education, personality education, and artistic·personality education’s definition and artistic·personality education’s teaching methods in the field, as well as its value, have been written down. Secondly, holistic education and eurhythmics education’s theoretical background and their relation have been analyzed. Furthermore, holistic education and eurhythmics education’s personality educational elements have been defined and presented through personal, relational, communal, and ecological aspects. So far, part of South Korea’s competition based mechanical·“cramming” method of substance-less education has caused problems such as social disconnection and alienation as a human- being, resulting in today’s society’s need for personality education. Which leads to the that holistice eurhythmics’ personality education would solve problems of dated educational methods, and at the same time also point towards a better, alternative method of education, as well as become a guide source for an essential education that can develop proper personality.

이 논문은 유리드믹스(Eurhythmics) 교육 창시자인 Dalcroze와 그 교육의 대가인 Abramson이 언급한 유리드믹스 음악교육 중 교사 능력의 중요성을 홀리스틱 교육 관점에서 제시하며, 홀리스틱 교육에서 추구하는 방향과 유리드믹스 음악교수법의 공통 방향을 제시한다. Dalcroze가 음악을 예로 해결하는 예술 통합적 접근의 유리드믹스 교수법으로 홀리스틱 교사의 연구와 그 역사를 이어 Abranson이 유아부터 성인까지 지도에 관한 교사 능력평가를 완성시키기까지 유리드믹스에 나타나는 홀리스틱 교사의 배려 정신이 언급된다. 음악교육이 홀리스틱 인간성을 형성하는 데 매우 중요하지만, 더욱더 중요한 것은 홀리스틱 정신을 갖춘 교사가 홀리스틱 인간형을 성장시킬 수 있다. 교수법은 또 하나의 교육으로서 무엇을 지도하느냐가 아니라 어떻게 지도하느냐의 관점에서 기존의 음악교육 유리드믹스 연구에서 한발 더 나아가는 의미를 준다. 이 논문이 홀리스틱 배려 정신을 연구하거나 타 교과목의 교수법을 연구하는 사람, 또는 현장의 음악교사들에게 21세기의 인재를 양성할 수 있는 글로벌 배려교육 연구에 도움이 되길 바란다. This essay discusses about Eurhythmics Education, which was created by E. J. Dalcroze and his fellow educator, R. M. Abramson. Within the Eurhythmics Music Education, the importance of the teacher's ability is presented in the perspective of Education of Holistic Care. Also, the Holistic Education and Eurhythmics Music Education are presented to have equal goal. Eurhythmics, which is approaching multicultural arts with music, was created by Emile J. Dalcroze(1865~1950) who became a respectable holistic teacher through this pedagogy. Robert M. Abramson(1928~2008) improved and finalized the pedagogy and the qualification of teaching from toddlers to elders. Eurhythmics allows a person to express music physically while working mentally, emotionally, and physically together with rhythm as the background of artistic expressions to analyze, understand, and create one's own musical feelings. The important thing that brings out the musical senses through this process is of course, learning the rhythm of one's life and develops moral self-control and spiritual capacity. This paper presents and explains the philosophy of Dalcroze Eurhythmics music education, and this is to explain that music education isn't just a simple tool to just raise musicians. Overall, music education is to better learn music but in the end, it helps in developing a good character and one must look at education with philosophy as a background and not as a simple tool for learning. The concepts on movement are relatively weak while the world of movement and Eurhythmics sprit exists throughout our lives. Movement is important indicator of one’s character and the importance of movement in music education cannot be over emphasized. One should practice to be considerate by the use of movement since consideration has close relationship to movement. Consideration is senses and arts. Artistic senses develop effective mind of consideration. Eurhythmics teachers learn forty-two types of elements in Holistic point of view. This paper is documentation of these elements of consideration and attitudes Eurhythmics teachers should possess. In the age of global communication and cultural integration, one should aim to develop holistic spirit education with global community in mind.

홀리스틱 음악태교를 위한 학부모의 음악태교 관심도 조사연구

이 연구는 음악태교의 올바른 인식과 효과적인 음악태교를 보급하고자, 현재 자녀에게 음악교육을 하고 있는 학부모 대상으로 임신 중에 실행했던 음악태교에 대해 조사하였다. 그 결과 임신 중 음악태교 횟수는 주 3번 이상이 52.6%이며, 가장 많이 사용한 음악은 클래식 음악이 57.5%로 높았다. ‘지역 간 영유아 학부모의 음악태교 필요성과 횟수 그리고 시간과 음악 종류가 다를 것이다’의 가설에서는 지역적 유의미한 차이는 없었으나 ‘필요하다’와 ‘매우 필요하다’는 93.2%로 나타났다. 이는 음악태교 중요성의 인식도에 비해 태교 이행은 미약했음을 보여준다. ‘현재 자녀에게 교육하고 있는 영유아 음악교육에 대한 학부모의 견해와 태교 인식도와의 상관관계’를 조사 하였는데, 영유아 음악을 교육하는 이유가 ‘올바른 인격형성과 삶의 질을 높여주기 위함’이 ‘음악교육을 놀이정도로 생각’하는 그룹 보다 임신 중 음악태교 실행이 높았다. 본 바와 같이 음악태교와 영유아 음악교육의 관심도와는 상관관계가 있다. 그러나 음악태교는 실제 관심도에 비해 실행이 미약하므로 이를 높이기 위한 관련단체와 정부차원의 지속적인 교육제공이 필요할 것이다. This study examined prenatal music education performed my mothers who currently provide their children the early childhood music education to develop proper understanding of prenatal music education and spread effective methods. 52.6% of the subjects performed prenatal music education three times or more a week during their pregnancy, reaching the majority. The type of music most often used was Classical music, with 57.5%. As for the hypothesis, “mothers of young children would differ geographically in terms of the importance of prenatal music education, frequency and duration of prenatal music education and the type of music’, significant differences were not found geographically. However, ‘important’ and ‘very important’ were found to be 93.2%. This showed that the level of understanding for the importance of prenatal music education was high, but the practice of prenatal music education was rare. Also the study observed the relationship between the perspective of parents about music education they provide to their young children and the level of understanding on prenatal education. The group who regarded early childhood music education as a way of developing character and improving quality of life performed prenatal music education more often during their pregnancy compared to the group who regarded music education as a play activity. It is imperative the government and relevant organizations provide educational opportunities so that music education can play a crucial role in brain development and personality development from the prenatal period to the early childhood
