Polymerized vesicles were prepared from monomeric cholesterol-containing surfactant. These vesicles were used to extract the free cholesterol. To introduce spacer group into [cholesteryloxycarbonylmethyl] [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylammonium chloride (CHODAMA), [5-[(cholesteryloxy)carbonyl]pentyl] [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylammonium bromide (CHODAMA-5) and [10-[(cholesteryloxy)carbonyl]decyl] [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylammonium bromide (CHODAMA-10) were synthesized. In both case of polymerized vesicle with CHODAMA-5 and CHODAMA-10, the permeability was decreased and the amount of extracted cholesterol was also decreased, compared with the polymerized vesicle of CHODAMA.

In this study, It was conducted to analyze of quantity of chlorogenic acid in coffee from 3 difference origin using LC-MS/MS system. The most effective extraction method of chlorogenic acid in coffee was as follows ; extraction solvent was 70% ethanol (in distilled water) and extraction tool was ultra-sonicator. This study showed that the quantity of chlorogenic acid was green coffee, coffee bean and coffee ground in order.
자작나무 추출물에서 보이는 모유두(HDP) 세포 성장 촉진 효과와 작용 메커니즘 연구

자작나무(Betula platyphylla) 수피 추출물에는 생리활성을 보일수 있는 다수의 terpenoids 물질이 포함되어 있고 염증반응을 완화시키는 치료제로 사용되어 왔다. 본 연구는 탈모예방 효과를보일 수 있는 천연 물질을 확보하기 위해 자작나무를 여러 용매에서 추출 및 분리 정제하여 몇몇 분획을 획득하였다. 이를 사용하여 사람 모낭 모유두세포(HDP)에 대한 세포 독성 및 성장촉진 효과 그리고 β-catenin, VEGF, IGF1, Cyclin D의 발현변화와 5-α-reductase activity에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. Ethyl acetate를 이용하여 분리한 4개의 분획 중 H3-2 분획은 알려진유효물질인 ETB, LPO와 동등수준의 모낭 모유두세포(HDP)에대한 성장 촉진 효과를 보였고 성장에 관여하는 주요인자들의발현을 높이는 효과를 보였다. 또한, 5-α-reductase activity에ETB, LPO가 큰 영향을 보이지 못한 반면 최종분획물인 H3은5-α-reductase activity 감소활성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

As the paradigm of the automobile industry approaches the era of autonomous driving, driver’s involvement in driving vehicles is decreasing. Accordingly, the system reliability and failure diagnosis of vehicles are getting important. Among many automobile parts, pre-diagnosis of a brake pad wear is indispensable because its wear could cause fatal defects that degrade braking performance. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system of brake pad that can pre-diagnose the wear of brake pads in stages using MOC(Motor on caliper), a type of electric parking brake system.
HPLC를 이용한 몇몇 적포도주의 Resveratrol 함량 분석

In this study, it was conducted to analyze of quantity of resveratrol in red wine from 5 difference country using HPLC system. Chromatographic separation was achieved on a Aegispak C18-L column (4.6x250 mm, 5 um particle size) and the detection was made at 305 nm. A gradient elution was programmed with the mobile phases of acetonitrile (A) and 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid (B) and a flow rate of 1 mL/min. The total run time was 85 min. The country of manufacture of red wine are France, Spain, Chile, USA and South Africa. The most high quantity of resveratrol in red wine was 0.7794 mg/L, and the range of resveratrol in red wine was from 0.015 mg/L to 0.78 mg/L.

블루라이트는 가시광선영역의 파장 중 가장 에너지가 높은 파장으로 피부노화 유발 및 활성산소를 유발하는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 피부의 유해 기작에 관한 연구가 진행 중이다. 화장품 분야에서의 블루라이트 차단 소재 연구 및 관련 제형연구는 아직 초기 단계에 있으며, 블루라이트 차단 측정과 관련된 시험법 또한 명확하게 정립되어 있지 않다. 블루라이트 차단 효능 평가 시험법은 해외 자외선 차단제의 차단효과 평가 방법을 참고하여 확립하였다. 국내에 고시되어 있는 자외선 차단제 원료 27종 중 17종에 대하여 블루라이트 차단효과를 평가하였으며, 블루라이트 차단 효과는 징크옥사이드가 14.97%, 비스에칠헥실옥시페놀메톡시페닐트리아진이 16.32%, 메칠렌비스-벤조트리아졸릴테트라메칠부틸페놀이 35.47%, 티타늄디옥사이드가 65.96% 순으로 나타났다. 또한 동일 함량의 티타늄디옥사이드의 입자크기에 따른 블루라이트 차단효과를 확인한 결과 Nano-티타늄디옥사이드 보다 Micro-티타늄디옥사이드가 두 배 이상의 차단효과가 높게 나타냈다. 제시된 블루라이트 차단효과 평가 시험법은 블루라이트 차단 소재 탐색 및 화장품 제형 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Blue light is the highest energy wavelengths in the visible light region and induces skin aging and active oxygen. Studies on harmful mechanism of skin are under way. Research on blue light blocking materials in cosmetics and formulation studies are in the early stage, and the test methods related to blue light blocking measurement are not established. The blue light blocking efficacy was established by referring to the test method of the sunscreen in vitro test(COLIPA guideline, ISO 24443, FDA Final Rule on Sunscreen Testing and Labeling). The blue light blocking effect was evaluated for 17 kinds out of 27 kinds of sunscreen raw materials suggested in KFDA guideline. The Effect was 14.97% for zinc oxide and 16.32% for bishexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, 35.47% for methylene bis-benzotriazolyltetramethylbutylphenol, and 65.96% for titanium dioxide. In addition, the effect of micro-titanium dioxide was twice as high as that of the nano-titanium dioxide. The results suggested that the light blocking effect test method can be used to search for blue light blocking materials and study cosmetic formulations.
HPLC를 이용한 몇몇 식품의 Chlorogenic acid 함량분석

In this study, it was conducted to analyze of quantity of chlorogenic acids (CGA) in coffee, blue-berry, sweet-potato and potato using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Chromatographic separation was achieved on a Aegispak C18-L column (4.6x250 mm, 5 um particle size) and the detection was made at 330 nm. A gradient elution was programmed with the mobile phases of DW with 0.5% phosphoric acid (A) and acetonitrile with 0.5% phosphoric acid (B) and a flow rate of 1 mL/min. The total run time was 50 min. The order of CGA concentration (mg/g) in experiments was found as follow: coffee > blue-berry > sweet potato > potato. Generally, the coffee (0.67 mg/g) has the highest while the potato (not measured) has the least concentration of CGA.
복분자뿌리추출물의 지루피부염 치료에의 활용가능성에 관한 연구

Background: Seborrheic dermatitis is chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disorder. Bokbunja (Rubus coreanus Miquel) is a wild berry to Rosaceae genus and also known to have an anti-inflammation effect. Objective: We were to determine the effect of Rubus coreanus Miquel extract for seborrheic dermatitis in vivo and in vitro. Methods: Seven patients with mild seborrheic dermatitis were enrolled in this study. PCR and culture were performed to identify subtypes of six Malassezia species (M. restricta, M. globosa, M. furfur, M. slooffiae, M. sympodialis, M. obtusa). Topical application of Rubus coreanus Miquel Extract was applied twice daily for 2 weeks. Clinical improvement and safety assessment were performed initially and 2weeks later. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was evaluated on Malassezia globosa comparing with ketoconazole and itraconazole. Sebum production was also checked prior the experiment and 2weeks later. Results: Five of seven patients showed improvement. No significant adverse effects were found during the clinical trial. Mild dryness was reported in 2 patients but they resolved spontaneously without any treatment. Rubus coreanus Miquel Extract didn't show antimicrobial effect to Malassezia globosa. However, Rubus coreanus Miquel Extract showed anti-inflammatory effect. Conclusion: In this study, we were verified that Rubus coreanus Miquel Extract can be applied for seborrheic dermatitis treatment. And this action mechanism is not related with antimicrobial effect.
