디지털 도서관에서의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 응용환경과 활용에 관한 연구

With the development of information technology and digitalization in these days, information network of library has been accomplished rapidly. The use and concern on Multimedia contents are increasing in the digital library based on information network. In this study I examined the definition of Multimedia contents and analysed the contents services and contents management for the use of Mulimedia contents in digital library. As a result, the effect of information technology is important for changing of information environment. Moreover, the multimedia which are resources whose information demand of the user is various contents with it is changing the possibility of knowing it was with application. 최근 정보기술의 발전과 디지털화로 도서관의 정보 네트워크화가 급속히 이루어지고 있다. 정보네트워크 기반의 디지털 도서관에서 멀티미디어 컨텐츠에 대한 관심과 이용은 점차 증대되고 있다. 이에 대해 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠에 대한 명확한 개념정의와 응용환경을 고찰하고 디지털 도서관에서의 멀티미디어 활용을 위한 컨텐츠서비스 및 컨텐츠관리 방안에 대해서 분석하였다. 그 결과 정보환경의 변화에는 정보기술의 영향이 중요한 요소로서 작용하며 이용자의 정보요구가 다양한 유형의 자원인 멀티미디어 컨텐츠로의 활용으로 변화하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

컴퓨터 매개 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 인터넷이 도서관 장서관리에 미치는 영향 분석

In this paper, we have studied the technical contribution of internet as a computer mediated communication(CMC) tool for collection management. A new communication process is appearing due to the development of information technology and telecommunications technology which enable users to have an access to information without the help of librarian. Also, internet makes collection management possible in the absence of vendors. This study found out that internet reinforces the traditional functions of collection management and enables librarians to better perform their roles. The future library manager should become actively involved in the development of technology in order to manage resources of internet focusing on the needs of user. Also, we have concluded that collection management should be modernized and transformed with its emphasis on the new evaluation method and assessment of quality when offering resources of internet in the communication process using computers. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 매개 커뮤니케이션(Computer Mediated Communication: CMC) 도구로서 인터넷이 장서관리에 기여하는 기술적 공헌에 대해서 연구하였다. 정보기술과 텔리커뮤니케이션의 발전으로 인한 전자정보환경에서 사서의 중재를 벗어난 이용자의 탈중재적 정보이용이라는 새로운 정보 커뮤니케이션 과정이 나타나고 있는 것과 함께 도서관의 장서관리에 있어서도 벤더나 중개업자를 통하지 않고 인터넷이라는 컴퓨터를 매개로 한 커뮤니케이션 과정을 통한 도서관 자원관리가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 인터넷은 전통적인 장서관리 기능을 보다 강화시켜 주고 사서들로 하여금 장서관리자로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 해주는 것으로 나타났다. 미래의 장서관리자는 지속적인 기술의 발전에 적극적으로 대처함으로서 보다 효과적인 이용자중심의 인터넷 자원을 관리할 수 있도록 새로운 커뮤니케이션 활용능력을 갖추어야 할 것이다. 동시에 컴퓨터를 매개로 하는 커뮤니케이션 과정에서 인터넷자원 제공에 대한 새로운 평가기법과 품질관리의 중요성을 강조하는 새로운 도서관 장서관리로 현대화 하고 변화해 나가야 할 것임을 규명하였다.

도서관 자원관리의 변화와 웹기반 멀티미디어 지식컨텐츠 관리방안에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 웹기반 멀티미디어 정보환경에서 자원관리 패러다임 변화와 함께 도서관의 장서관리가 지식컨텐츠관리로 변화할 필요성을 제시하였다. 효율적인 웹 컨텐츠관리는 개인별 맞춤화 서비스를 제공함으로서 궁극적으로 이용자 만족을 최대화 할 수 있다. 특히, 메타브라우징 방식을 이용한 컨텐츠 맞춤화 서비스는 이용자 개인이 일하는 핵심컨텐츠만을 집중 서비스함으로서 이용자 만족의 극대화에 기여한다. 본 연구에서는 이와같이 이용자의 만족을 강화하기 위한 웹 기반 멀티미디어 지식컨텐트 관리방안에 대해서 관리요소와 서비스방안을 중심으로 연구하였다. In this paper, I presented that transformation of library from the collection management to knowledge contents management along with paradigm shift under the web-based multimedia information environment is required. Effective web contents management call maximize users'satisfaction with personal customizing services for library users. Especially, contents customizing service using the metabrowsing service contributes to maximize the user'satisfaction by supplying core contents that the user seeks. In this paper, I studied the scheme of knowledge contents management to increase of user'satisfaction, concentrating on the management factors of web-based multimedia knowledge contents and service strategy.

디지털 도서관의 효율적인 지식컨텐츠관리에 관한 연구

디지털 도서관에서의 자원관리는 도서를 중심으로 하는 텍스트외에 이미지 파일등 멀티미더어 자원을 포함하는 네트웍상의 접근 가능한 모든 자원에 대한 효율적인 관리가 수행되어야 한다. 컨텐츠관리는 광범위한 의미에서 디지털 도서관의 자원관리라고 할 수 있으며 이용자의 다양한 정보이용 목적에 적합한 지식컨텐츠를 효율적으로 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 환경에서 웹자원을 포함한 지식컨텐츠를 관리하기 위한 요소에 대해서 연구하였다. 디지털 도서관의 다양한 지식컨텐츠를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 컨텐츠관리에 대해서 개념정의 유형 그리고 특성에 대해서 살펴보고 이용자 중심의 컨텐츠관리요소를 이용자요소; 중재요소; 서비스요소로 설정하였다. Effective resource management in the digital library should be implemented for the whole accessible sources on the network including multimedia one such as image files other than texts which focus on books. Contents management can be resource management of digital library in terms of wide scope, moreover, it\`s main function is to provide effectively tailor-made knowledge contents for users\` diversified objective of information usage. In this study, I examined main factors for more effective and advanced knowledge management including web resources under the current digital environment. First of all, I described closely several types of conceptualization and trails regarding more effective contents management and came up with advanced user-centered contents management system, i.e., user factors, intermediary factors, and finally service ones.

마코프모형의 계량정보학적 응용연구

계량정보학 연구영역의 하나인 운영연구(Operation Research ; OR)중 미래예측이라는 목적을 가지고 있는 마코프모형(Markov Chains)의 통계기법을 활용한 두가지 실험사례를 살펴보고, 최근의 연구경향을 분석함으로써 도서관 시스템 운영과 설계에 마코프모형을 응용할 수 있는 네가지 방안을 제시하였다. 계량정보학의 한 분야로 적용되고 있는 마코프모형에 관한 국내연구가 활발하지 못한 상태이므로, 국내 계량정보학에서의 마코프모형 연구의 필요성과 활성화를 제안하였다. This paper is done by studying two experimental cases which utilize the stochastic theory of Markov Chains, which is used for forecasting the future and by analyzing recent trend of studies. Since the study of Markov Chains is not applied to the Informetrics to a high degree in Korea. It is also proposed that there is a necessity for further study on Markov Chains and its activation.

이용자 중심의 정보 커뮤니케이션 동향

본 고에서는 최근 이용자 중심의 정보커뮤니케이션 동향에 대해서 고찰하였다. 특히, 인터넷 기반에서 컴퓨터를 매개로 하는 커뮤니케이션( CMC)과 인간공학(HFE), 그리고 최근 관심이 모아지고 있는 인간과 컴퓨터 상호작용(HCI)을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이러한 인간중심의 정보 커뮤니케이션 과정은 이용자 입장에서의 인터페이스 설계에 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. In this paper, the recent trends of user-centered information communication are reviewed, especially focused on Computer-Mediated Communication(CMC) based on internet, Human Factors Engineering, and Human-Computer Interaction(HCI). The result is that human-centered information communication process has influence on the extension of user interface.

웹자원 이용효율성 제고를 위한 이용자 중심의 내용 관리(Content Management) 요소에 관한 연구

최근 정보기술의 발전과 함께 디지털 정보환경으로 진입하면서 도서관의 정보이용행태에 변화가 나타나고 있다. 특히 디지털환경에서 원문제공이 가능해지고 이용자가 컴퓨터를 매개로 하여 원하는 정보원에 보다 용이하게 접근할 수 있으며 특정웹페이지의 내용을 효과적으로 이용하고자 하는 욕구가 증가하고 있다. 기존의 장서관리가 정보매체별 중심이었다면 이제는 매체에 수록된 특정 정보내용을 이용자 욕구에 적합하게 연결시켜 줄 수 있는 내용관리가 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이용자의 정보이용 커뮤니케이션 전반을 이해하기 위한 내용관리의 핵심요소 설정하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하여 이용자 중심의 내용관리 요소를 이용자 요소 중재요소 서비스요소로 설정하였다. Today, as we are going into digital information environment along with the development of information technology, there are changes in the style of information users. In particular. with the help of computer users can more easily access the original texts and approach to information providers than ever. At the same time, we are trying to use more efficiently some specialized contents in the web-pages. Contrary to traditional mediation-centered collection management, we start realizing that we are expected to bind selected contents with users who search these ones. In this study, I examined problems on collection management and proposed a more advanced content management skill as a solution for those problems. According to on-site questionnaires, The Main factors of user-centered content management are user factors, intermediary factors, and service ones.
