Maeng (2004) discussed hindrances in communication caused by false friends based on the contrastive analysis of meaning. However, the analysis there had a limitation in that it heavily depended on the semantic contrast from an etymological point of view. In this study I adopt Seleskovitch's concept of three equivalent relationships in translation and attempt to overcome the limitation of my previous study. To be more specific, we demonstrate subtle pragmatic differences of signifie which are affected by those of lexical tone, social context, the direction of human relationship, class of words, collocation, etc. After that a wider range of contrastive analysis should be done by using a larger corpus. Finally I suggest that we continue to make an effort to reflect the analysis to the compilation of a false friends dictionary I a Chinese-Korean dictionary and a Korean-Chinese dictionary.

From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, it can be easily assumed that non-natives may have great difficulty understanding names of Korean dishes with covert information considering that even understanding those with overt information is a demanding task for them. Complex issues raised by cultural and linguistic differences hinder non-natives from having a clear understanding on names of Korean dishes. In order to resolve this problem, this paper focuses on providing clues to overcoming obstacles of cross-cultural communication in understanding names of Korean dishes by presenting issues including following cases: 1. Analysis on types of Korean dish names with covert information in comparison to dish names with overt information. 2. Names of dishes made with a single contain covert information regarding a specific cooking and processing method. 3. A particular aspect regarding Korean food culture is that morphemes with a meaning of meat or flesh(‘gogi’, ‘sal’, ‘yook’) contained in dish names indicate covert information that the dish is made of ‘beef’.

針對目前韓國短期赴華漢語培訓普遍存在的問題,本文積極探索任務型短期赴華漢語培訓模式,以培養漢語學習者運用漢語進行交際的能力。本硏究以韓國外國語大學的短期赴華培訓爲個案硏究對象,合理設計了與實際生活相關的眞實的任務活動,對活動的執行進行了統籌安排,幷通過"PRP"(報告准備、演練、展示)流程展現了任務活動的結果。硏究發現學生在完成任務的過程中有效地克服了用漢語進行交際的心理障애,提高了運用漢語進行交際的能力,幷增强了學習漢語的自信心和主動性。

『박통사』계열의 자료는 언어사와 문화사의 가치가 높아서 일찍이 많은 언어사와 문화사 분야의 연구결과가 축적되어 있다. 그러나 중국어교재라는 본래의 성격에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 희소한 상황이다. 『박통사』는 중국에 가서 상업거래를 하는 고려인(혹은 조선인)을 위한 일종의 특수목적의 교재이다. 이 교재에 대한 분석을 통하여 고려, 조선의 선인들이 중국어 교재집필에 있어서 언어와 문화의 관계가 긴밀하고 중요함을 인식하고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 내용의 구성에 있어서 당시 중국사회와 문화의 이모저모를 고려하였을 뿐만 아니라 상거래목적의 문화간 의사소통의 기능을 부각시키어 기능과 문화를 세밀하게 결합시키었다. 또한 집필전 과정을 통하여 요소요소 구석구석 학습자를 위하여 배려하여 학습자 중심의 원칙을 구현하였다. 실용성, 맞춤성, 지식성, 흥미성이 적재적소에서 빠짐없이 잘 드러났다. 이러한 교재집필의 태도와 자세는 현재 우리에게 교훈과 귀감이 된다.

This paper deals with false friends-the source of their sound image (signifiant) is the same, but the concept image (signifie) is differentfound in Korean and Chinese. It is well-known that these false friends frequently cause negative transfer. I demonstrate that the false friends between Korean and Chinese can be classified into four types: ① no semantic resemblance type, ② partially overlapping type, ③ semantic inclusion type I (Korean over Chinese), and ④ semantic inclusion type II (Chinese over Korean). The result of the contrastive analysis of each type shows a striking difference. In the actual communications, false friends between these two languages may lead to misunderstanding. In order to prevent negative transfer due to false friends, students are advised to carefully check the differences in meaning and function.
