웨브 변단면보의 탄성좌굴에 대한 AISC 기준의 수정계수(B)에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 미국 AISC-LRFD기준에서 제시하고 있는 웨브 변단면 I형 보의 탄성 좌굴강도 산정식을 고찰하였다. 미국 AISC-LRFD 기준의 기본 개념은 웨브 변단면 보를 가장 작은 단면과 동일한 크기를 가지면서 길이가 다른 등가 일정단면보로 대치하는 것이다. 또한 비지지 구간에 작용하는 응력 구배와 이웃한 보의 횡방향 구속효과를 고려하기 위하여 수정계수(B)를 적용하고 있다. AISC-LRFD 기준에 제시된 수정계수(B)와 유한요소해석결과와의 비교를 통해 본 논문에서는 수정계수(B)를 산정하기 위한 재 정의된 방법을 제안하였다. This paper investigated the accuracy of the current design formulae for the elastic buckling strength of web-tapered I-beams in AISC-LRFD specification. The basic concept is to replace a tapered beam by an equivalent prismatic beam with a different length, but with a cross section identical to that of the smaller end of the tapered beam. The modification factor, B, is used to account for the stress gradient within the unbraced length and the lateral restraining effects offered by the adjacent segments. The modification factor(B) suggested in AISC-LRFD specification was compared with the finite element method(FEM) results. This paper presented a redefined method to calculate the modification factor(B).

도시 공공 공간 활성화를 위한 스토리텔링 활용 특성에 관한 연구

Storytelling has been a topic in all the cultural contents in the 21st century. The ripple effect of storytelling is increasing in design as well as cultural contents. In particular, the use of storytelling is remarkable to activate urban public space. Therefore, this study analysed the characteristics of using storytelling for activation of urban public space and identified the concepts, characteristics and components of public space and storytelling through bibliographical investigation. Based on previous studies, the study developed the framework as a component of public space in which storytelling was applied and analysed cases of theme streets with storytelling local governments have developed since 2000. Thus, the study has a meaning that it identified the components, specific ranges and design methods of storytelling appropriate for public space by organizing characteristics of public space where storytelling was applied. Elastic Stability of Thin-Walled Arches subjected to Uniform Bending - Linear Bending Normal Strain Distribution -

This paper is concerned with the elastic buckling of thin-walled arches that are subjected to uniform bending. Nonlinear strain-displacement relations with the initial curvature are substituted into the second variation of the total potential energy to obtain the energy equation including initial curvature effects. The approximation for initial curvature effects that the bending normal strain distribution is linear across the cross section is applied consistently in the derivation process. The closed form solution is obtained for flexural-torsional buckling of arches under uniform bending and, it is compared with the previous theoretical results.

낯선 곳에 방문을 하거나 인간이 길을 찾는 과정에서 순간적으로 방향을 잃고 머뭇거린다. 이때 인간은 가용한 정보, 그리고 현장에 있는 시각 정보인 즉 주변의 환경 정보로 결정할 수 밖에 없다. 공간 정보디자인은 점차 정보화 시대에서 시각언어의 중요성이 높아지는 시점이며 시각 분야에서 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 요소로 인식되고 있기에 도시문화에 미치는 영향이 매우 크며 도시의 정보를 쉽고 간결하게 전달할 수 있는 다양한 정보디자인이 필요함을 인지해야한다. 이처럼 공간 정보 디자인은 매우 중요함에도 불구하고 광주 동구 충장로를 중심으로 인식사인, 방위사인, 방향사인, 규정사인의 현황을 분석해 본 결과, 한정된 공간에 지나치게 많은 정보전달 요소가 난립되고, 종합적인 안내체계를 정립하지 못하여 도시의 정체성 및 도시미관 저해를 초래하며 안내기능을 저하시켜 지역을 방문하는 사람들에게 불편을 주고 있는 것이 현실이다. 그 결과 시민의 삶의 수준과 기대수준에 미치지 못하고 광주시를 방문하는 관람객들에게 도시의 부정적인 인식을 심어주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구자가 제시하는 결론은 광주시가 더욱 살기 좋고 경쟁력 있는 도시, 이상적인 도시가 되도록 만들어 주는데 기여할 것이다. In the 21st century, the era of sensitivity, representing pleasant, entertaining and interactive space has a very important meaning. Exhibition space needs change and has changed fast. To today’s exhibition space, a new technique of exhibition storytelling has been introduced to show integrated themes or contents which can lead to sensitive and experimental communication with the public and induce fun and interest from them rather than to develop and arrange simple materials to be exhibited and to plan expository exhibition. Therefore, this study aims to prepare for theoretical background of storytelling and exhibition to understand correlations between them and analyse applications of storytelling in exhibition space by categorizing correlations of storytelling into content, space and representation. That is, the study discovered that complex stories, combined flows of viewers, objets and synesthetic properties have been mainly used through an analysis table. To successfully deliver what to be learned and clear themes of exhibitions to viewers, stories designed to deliver themes and plans on representative exhibitions should be developed and space should be represented based on organized scenarios. They should personify familiar materials to stimulate emotion and make the space emotionally sensitive using various hands-on programs. In conclusion, this study presents basic data which can be used in planning exhibition storytelling based on its properties and methods analysed.

치유디자인 개념을 적용한 주거환경에 관한 연구

21세기는 삶의 질이 높아지면서 사회 전체적으로 휴식과 치유, 건강에 대한 관심 또한 높아지고 있다. 그 중 우리가 하루의 1/4~1/3을 보내며 수면을 통해 심신의 피로회복과 하루 컨디션의 80% 이상을 좌우하는 휴식의 공간인 침실에서의 쾌적한 환경조성이 인간생활의 중요한 요소가 되었다. 즉 정신적으로나 육체적으로나 스트레스를 겪고 있는 거주자들의 심신을 치유하고 쾌적한 수면환경의 조성이 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 연구는 침실공간의 적합성 평가를 위해 Murtha and Lee의 사용자 이득기준의 이론에 근거하여 분류하였다. 또한, 치유디자인을 사용자 이득기준에 따라 침실공간의 스트레스에 대응하는 치유디자인을 사례 분석하여 침실공간의 실내치유요소를 파악하였다. 이를 통해 치유환경에 대한 공간구성 및 공간계획 등 적절한 침실환경 디자인의 실천적 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 분석을 통해 스트레스에 대응하기 위한 침실환경은 멀티테라피, 자연적 테라피가 주로 적용되어 특히 안락하고 편안한 분위기의 지각적 유지 부분이 많은 제품 및 공간 계획 등으로 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 침실공간에서의 치유디자인의 요소를 이해할 수 있었으며, 이러한 침실공간의 스트레스 요인 및 치유디자인의 특성과 방법을 토대로 향후 침실공간 계획 시 활용할 수 있는 기초자료로 제시하고자 한다. In the 21st century, as the living quality has been getting higher. our society has paid more attention to relaxation, therapy and health. Making pleasant environment of bedrooms where we are relaxed through sleeping has become an important element of human life. That is, it is the time to make pleasant sleeping environment to treat residents who are suffering from mental and physical stress. Therefore. to evaluate suitability of bedrooms, this study classified features of therapeutic environment of bedrooms based on the User Benefit Criteria developed by Murtha and Lee. According to the user benefit criteria, it analysed the cases of therapetic design developed to deal with stress of bedrooms and identified indoor therapeutic factors of the bedrooms. It was designed to present practical directions of bedroom design such as spatial compositions and plans. As a result of the analyses, it was discovered that multi-therapy and natural therapy were mainly used for the bedroom environment to deal with stress, and in particular, products and spatial plans were designed, focusing on perceptual maintenance for comfortable mood. Through the study, elements of therapeutic design of bedrooms and the factors of stress in bedrooms and features of therapeutic design were understood and the results will be used as basic data for future plans of bedroom design.
