$MnO_2$-doped $0.985[Li_{0.04}(Na_{0.545}K_{0.46})_{0.96}(Nb_{0.81}Ta_{0.15}Sb_{0.04})]O_3+0.015KNbO_3(0.985LNKNTS+0.015KNbO_3)$ lead-free ceramics were fabricated by conventional solid state method to develop excellent dielectric and piezoelectric properties. The result of X-ray diffraction patterns obviously indicated that all of the specimen has pure perovskite structure without secondary phase. In addition, orthorhombic phase and coexistance region of orthorhombic-tetragonal phase (MPB) were observed with amount of $MnO_2$. The optimal values of ${\rho}$=4.70 $g/cm^3$, $d_{33}=238$ pC/N, $k_P=0.46$, $Q_m=121$, ${\varepsilon}_r=849$, and $T_C=225^{\circ}C$ were obtained at 0.01 mol% $MnO_2$ doped $0.985LNKNTS+0.015KNbO_3$ ceramics sintered at $990^{\circ}C$ for 5 h, respectively. Hence, it was indicated that the suitable amount of $MnO_2$ could improve the electrical properties of $0.985[Li_{0.04}(Na_{0.545}K_{0.46})_{0.96}(Nb_{0.81}Ta_{0.15}Sb_{0.04})]O_3+0.015KNbO_3$ ceramics.

$(Na_{0.525}K_{0.4425}Li_{0.0375})(Nb_{0.9975}Sb_{0.065}Ta_{0.0375})O_3+0.3 wt%CoO$ ceramics were fabricated as a function of CuO addition by traditional solid state sintering process in order to develop excellent lead-free piezoelectric ceramics composition. The addition of CuO in the LNKNTS composition ceramics can effectively enhance the densification of the ceramics, resulting in the oxygen vacancies as hardening effect. The excellent piezoelectric properties of electromechanical coupling factor($k{\small}_P$) of 0.378, piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) of 152 pC/N were obtained from the 1.0 mol% CuO doped LNKNTS ceramics sintered at $1,020^{\circ}C$ for 3 h.

In this study, vibration mode multilayer piezoelectric transformer was designed and thickness simulated using ANSYS of finite element method simulator for investigating its optimum conditions ist. As a results, resonant frequency was decreased with the increase of output layer thickness, Output voltage, maximum displacement and maximum stress at 0.34㎜ thickness transformer were 228.1 V, 0.42㎛, 8.78[N/㎡] respectively.

In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering piezoelectric ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric actuator, PbSr(Mn<SUB>1/3</SUB>Nb<SUB> 2/3</SUB>)O₃-(Mg<SUB>1/3</SUB>Nb<SUB>3/2</SUB>)O₃-(ZrTi)O₃ ceramics were fabricated using Na₂CO₃-Li₂CO₃ as sintering aids and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated according to the sintering temperature. At the sintering temperature of 900℃, the density, electrom echanical coupling factor(kp), mechanical quality factor(Qm) and dielectric constant(εr) of specimen showed the optimum value of 7.730[g/㎤], 0.552, 1134, 1492 and 330[pC/N], respectively.

In this paper, multilayer piezoelectric actuator was fabricated in order to develop ultrasonic linear motor. Multilayer actuator showed a high density of 7.78[g/㎤], a large effective electromechanical coupling factor(k<SUB>eff</SUB>) of 0.259, a high mechanical quality factor(Qm') of 1301, and high capacitance(c) of 19.32[㎋l Curie temperature was 343[℃]

In this paper, ultrasonic nozzle and driving circuit were manufactured and their electrical properties were investigated Ultrasonic nozzle was fabricated using PSN-PMN-PZT ceramics showing excellent piezoelectric characteristics. In order to drive ultrasonic nozzle, PWM controller(KA3525A) was used. With increasing input voltage of nozzle, particle diameters of diesel were increased up tot 16V and then decreased. At the input voltage of 12V, volume particle diameter showed the minimum value of 37.3㎛ and also at the input voltage of 18V, volume particle diameter showed the maximum value of 51.3㎛.

In this study, in order to develop the composition of ceramics capable of being sintered at low temperature with high piezoelectric properties, PZW-PMN-PZT system ceramics for piezoelectric energy harvesting application were manufactured according to the amount of PZW addition. And also, their microstructural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated. At the sintering temperature of 930℃, a 5 ㏖% PZW substituted specimen showed a maximum value of density = 7.905g/㎤, kp = 0.585, d₃₃= 351 pC/N and Qm = 1,254, respectively.
