The country of our nation has great difficulty in many respect; farmers advanced age, the phenomenon of giving up farming, instability of the price of farm products and Uruguay Round.<br/> Recently there is a strong trend to attract an increasing number of tourists to the country so that farmers increase their income by selling farm products to the tourists. In other words farmers began tourism agriculture, commercial management of agriculture, so that they increase added-value in the primary industry by matching production with consumption at the same time. Farmers induce tourists from the city by utilizing such attraction elements as the primary industry like crops, forests, fishing industry.<br/> This phenomenon shows that they are trying to develop their abundant natural surroundings and their culture linking their regional industry. This kind of agricultural style is called in foreign countries "Green Tourism" and they try to develop it for the purpose of increasing their income, regional development of the country, surounding preservation of the country, interchange promotion between the city and the country, providing rest area for the city people. But we have many imitative management styles of tourism agriculture because the history of our tourism agriculture is short, and we are in poor state of developing tourism agriculutral items which represent local characteristics. That results from funds-shortage, facilities-insufficiency, P.R-lack and so on. This study shows the way to increase income by means of tourism agriculture and also shows the problems and their remedies of tourism park under management.<br/> A location condition of our nation's tourism agriculture is composed of sightseeing concentrated places 49.5%, large city concentrated places 26.9%. Main source of their income is made up of foods income 46%, lodge charges income 18%, a sourvenir income 13%, facilities use income 6% and the rest 5%, This statestics shows that agricultural surroundings are not the element of the income but the element of tourist attraction. Therefore it is necessary by means of tourism agriculture to attract group tourists in favor of experiencing the country, to develop various programs for them, to develop local food, to build more lodging and recreation facilities for them. The development of tourism agricultural items depends on how they attract city people to buy them. tourism agricultural items varies in local characteristics according to the local condition, finance and management ability. This study mentioned the developing method of tourism agricultural items for interest inducemen. But it may be thought to be abstract for the present. It is obvious that tourism agriculture should not be considered in terms of building lots of artificial recreation facilities in order to made much money but in terms of inducing and satisfying tourists by means of agricultural element. Otherwise that will be something criticiz able.

Every nation of the world as well as our nation has carried out agricultural policies and has supported lots of funds. But agriculture has been degraded to a declining industry because of industrial structure. And various causes including U.R make the situation even worse. So we must urgently consider a counterplan when our national land has 65% of forest and has 2 million ha of agricultural land.<br/> It is necessary for us to make use of forest for the purpose of recreational use instead of its lumber produce, and marginal land excluding agricultural promoting area should be classified according to its use. In other words agricultural use leads to continue environmental agriculture with the help of organic agriculture like mechanization or facilities by making foundation. In non-agricultural use, on the other hand, the place which is good for industry or construction leads to an agricultural and industrial complex, or housing area. The idle land such as a rice field or a farm, which is inconveniently located, has best effects on the recreational use.<br/> The word "recreational use" has different meaning. It is not tourism development. The tourism development of the rural village is related with the knowledge of tourism on the basis of agriculture. So it is difficult, without understanding of agriculture, for us to set up the plan linked with a vocation. The success of this plan depends on the condition of the area, that is, resources(tourism resources), approach(traffic condition), funds ability, area size and agricultural skill. So we must examine these.<br/> a) training men of talent.<br/> b) Setting up the developing scope and the model of the rural village for tourism.<br/> c) selecting the developing method.<br/> d) supporting of the government, or of the merchants and industrialists of the area.<br/> e) the counterplan of the application.<br/> f) The will of practice.

그린 투어리즘(Green-Tourism)의 개념에 대한 고찰

Nowadays, Green-Tourism is being introduced competitively Japan, Taiwan, Southeastern various countries including European countries with income increase devices through agricultural a real activation and farming, agricultural business versification. In Korea, since tourism agricultural policy has been introduced in 1984, the necessity is recognized but the performance does not make a great fulfillment. In the midest of these situations, with clear differentiation and comparison between Green-Tourism and similar words, I understand to make a certain the access method and development method of Green-Tourism as a practical device of newly introduced non agricultural income policy.
