5·18민주화운동이 지역경제에 미친 경제적 영향 분석: 통제집단합성법(SCM)을 이용한 접근

본 연구는 통제집단 합성법(Synthetic Control Method, SCM)을 사용해 518민주화운동이 광주/전남지역에 미친 부정적 충격을 계량경제학적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 통제집단 합성법은 미시계량경제학의 이중차분법과 유사한 방법론으로 국가, 지역 등의 거시집계변수들에 적용하여 특정 사건의 인과관계 규명을 위해 처치집단과 통제집단의 사건 이후의 성과차이를 계량하는 데이터 중심 추계 방법론이다. 본 연구에서는 1980년 기준 광역 지방자치 단체의 지방세수 자료를 지역의 경제력에 대한 대리변수로 하고 여러 사회 경제적 지표를 통해 518민주화운동이 광주/전남 지역의 경제에 미친 영향을 분석했다. 본 연구에서는 1971년부터 2000년까지 자료를 사용하여 분석하였는데 실증 분석 결과 1980년을 기준으로 최대 17%까지 광주/전남 지역의 지방세수가 정상 경로와 비교하면 덜 걷혔다고 분석할 수 있었다. 또한 통제집단 합성법의 강건성 분석 방법인 시점이동 위약효과 분석과 공간이동 위약효과 분석을 통해서도 이러한 분석의 유의함을 확인할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to econometrically analyze the negative impact of the May 18 Democratic Uprising on the Gwangju/Jeonnam regionional economy using the Synthetic Control Method (SCM). The SCM SCM is a methodology similar to the difference-in-difference(DID) method of microeconometrics. It is applied to macroeconomic variables such as country, region, etc. to estimate the causal relationship between specific events and the dependent variable. In this study, as of 1980, local tax revenue data of metropolitan local governments were used as a proxy variable for the economy of the region, and the impact of the May 18 Democratic Uprising on the economy of Gwangju/Jeonnam region was analyzed through various socio-economic indicators. In this study, data were used to analyze from 1971 to 2000, and as a result of empirical analysis, local tax revenues in Gwangju/Jeonnam area were less collected than normal routes up to 17%. In addition, the significance of this analysis was confirmed through in-time placebo effect analysis and in-space placebo effect analysis, which are methods of analyzing the robustness of the control group synthesis method.

내생적 경제성장모형을 활용한 사회간접자본(SOC) 투자 적정성의 평가

This study aims to evaluate the optimality of SOC investment in Korea. To do this, we employ an endogenous growth model to assess the optimality of SOC investments in the central government, local government, public enterprises, and private-public-partnership investment. The theoretical ratio of SOC investment to GDP is 2~4% with 3~5% of GDP growth rate, 0.255 of output elasticity, and 1~2.5% of depreciation rate of SOC stock. The actual 2004-10 SOC investment to GDP ratios of the central government budget were bounded within a proper scope in the context of central government. However, if local government budgets, public and private investments included, the ratio was significantly increased to 4.28% in 2010, that can be seen to the maximum range. Meanwhile, the investment ratio in the 2011-15 National Fiscal Management Plan on the SOC is shown to be appropriate in terms of this evaluation model. 총량규모의 사회간접자본(SOC) 투자의 적정성에 대한 평가는 향후 재원배분의 방향을 결정짓는데 중요한 고려사항인데, 본 연구에서는 중앙정부 예산, 지방정부 예산, 공기업, 민간투자 등 사회간접자본 투자의 주체별 예산자료를 반영하여 사회간접자본 투자 시계열을 구축하고 이를 통해 중기 재정운용의 시각에서 평가하였다. 사회간접자본 투자의 이론적 적정비율은 장기의 경제성장률, 사회간접자본 스톡의 감가상각률, 그리고 사회간접자본 스톡/국내총생산 비율 등에 의해 결정된다. 우리 경제의 현실을 반영할 경우 대략 2~4%의 분포를 가지고, 현실적으로 사회간접자본 스톡의 산출탄력성을 0.255로 가정하고 잠재성장률을 5%로 가정할 경우 적정비율은 사회간접자본 스톡의 감가상각률이 1.0%일 경우 3.36%가 적정비율인 것으로 추정되었다. 실제 2004~2010년 사회간접자본 투자 규모의 국내총생산 대비 비율을 구해보면 중앙정부 예산만을 대상으로 평가할 경우 최대 2.55%의 비율을 보여 적정비율 범위 내에서 투자가 이루어진 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 지방정부예산, 공기업, 민간투자 등을 포함할 경우, 2010년의 투자비율은 4.28%로 상당히 높아져 적정투자규모의 최대치에 근접함을 알 수 있다. 한편 2011~2015년 국가재정운용계획상의 사회간접자본 투자비율의 경우 지방정부 예산, 공기업, 민간투자 등을 포함할 경우 국내총생산 대비 2~3%의 투자비율을 보일 것으로 전망되어 중기적인 시각에서 사회간접자본 투자 규모는 적정한 것으로 판단된다.

인체 흑색종 세포에 대한 와송 추출물의 세포주기 억제를 통한 항암효과와 기전 연구

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify the anticancer effect of biological substances of ethylacetate(EtOAc) fraction from Orostachys japonicus(OJEF), their effect on human melanoma A375 cells and the related molecular mechanisms. Methods : The MTS assay was used to confirm the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation in A375 cells. And the MUSE™ analyzer was used to determine the ability of OJEF to induce cell cycle arrest. Western blotting was used to determine the changes in protein expression in A375 cells after treatment with OJEF. Results : OJEF showed cytotoxicity to A375 cells. And cell cycle arrest occurred in G1 phase and G2/M phase owing to inhibition of CDK1, cyclin B1, CDK4, and cyclin D, which are related to cell cycle regulation and cell division control. Conclusion : OJEF is effective in regulating cell cycle of human melanoma cells and thus can be a good theraputic agent to treat patients with melanoma.

거버넌스와 재정성과

In this paper, we investigate the relationship between governance and fiscal performance such as government fiscal deficit and debt to GDP ratio. Since the path of the effect of governance on fiscal performance is known to be related with budget process, it is essential to know how the differences of governance account for the difference of fiscal performance. Using world governance indicator (WGI) by world bank, we found that a good governance had a positive effect on the fiscal performance for OECD countries. 거버넌스가 재정성과에 영향을 미치는 경로는 예산과정(예산의 편성, 집행, 그리고 결산 및 성과평가)과 필연적으로 관련되는데, 거버넌스의 차이가 이를 어느 정도 설명하는 지를 파악하는 것은 제도 및 정책 개선에 필수적이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 거버넌스가 재정성과에 미치는 영향을 포괄적으로 살펴보고 재정운용의 측면에서 좋은 거버넌스를 취하고 있는 국가와 그렇지 못한 국가의 차이점이 무엇인지, 그리고 그것이 재정성과에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 국제비교와 문제의식의 명료화를 위해 국가별 자료를 비교적 쉽게 얻을 수 있는 분야인 총계 재정변수인 재정수지적자비율 및 국가채무비율과 거버넌스의 관계를 중심으로 살펴보았다.

병원 코디네이터의 도입 필요성에 대한 연구

As a hospital environment is reconstructed from supplier-centered values to consumer-centered ones for the existence in the rapidly changing medical market, it can be said that not only must old slogans such as unconditional restructuring, remodelling, etc. be reconsidered, but a new strategy for the development and renovation of a hospital must be urgently required. Accordingly, development of customer-oriented practical strategies is needed and it appears possible to develop marketing and manage contacts, as a practical management strategy, for raising satisfaction of internal and external customers. The ultimate goal of such strategy development may be to ensure consistent potential development by maintenance of existing customers and securing new customers through a strategy of satisfying both existing and new customers. It appears that the competition in the medial will be keener in the future by human resources, members of an organization, Under these circumstances, and in relation to appearance of a new type of occupation of a coordinator, if a hospital could offer appropriate service which can meet the demand of the customers by efficiently utilizing the limited resources through efficient management of contacts between the customers and personnel, the competitive power of a hospital would be much stronger. Therefore, it is necessary to seek customer-impressing management by utilizing a coordinator as a more specialized intermediary as well as many-sided contact management through positive introduction of an expert coordinator system for internal and external customer contact management. It is expected that a hospital can secure a competitive advantage in the market through strategy development supported by an expert coordinator and increasing competitive power by means of practice of a developed creative strategy.

FISCAL SPENDING AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

This study aims at providing both a theoretical survey and an empirical analysis of the effect of government spending on economic growth. There have been numerous debates regarding how government spending affects economic growth at various levels and via different paths. We can categorize fiscal spending by either function or nature. This study examines the effects of fiscal spending of various functional categories and groups thereof. From the empirical analyses we find evidence that an excessive fiscal spending in infrastructure area may negatively affect future economic growth.

달라피콜라의 「세 개의 시」, 제 2곡에 관한 분석 연구 : 선율구조를 중심으로

달라피콜라(Luigi Dallapiccola, 1904-1975)는 최초로 이태리에 12음 기법을 도입한 작곡가이다. 그의 12음 기법으로 구성된 작품 중 본 논문에서 분석한 '세 개의 시'(Tre Poemi, 1949)의 두 번째 곡은 하나의 음렬로 구성된다. 단일한 음렬은 선율이 진행됨에 따라 여러 가지 형태로 조합·변형되어 나타나는데, 이는 감정을 표현하기 위한 것이다. 대응되는 리듬은 6개의 리듬형으로 구성되고 이들 역시 다양하게 축소·확대·변형된다. 반주부는 대위적인 진행을 특징으로 하고, 악기 편성에 있어서는 음향의 대조를 통한 다양한 울림을 만든다. 이상의 리듬 구조와 반주부 그리고 악기 편성에 있어서의 특징들은 모두 감정적 선율선을 만드는데 일조하는 요소들이다. 결론적으로 달라피콜라는 20세기의 혁신인 12음 기법을 이용하여 19세기의 이태리 오페라와 같은 표현적인 선율을 만들고자 하였음을 관찰할 수 있다. 이를 통해서 그는 전통적인 음악과 12음 음악을 융합하고자 하였다. Luigi Dallapiccola who was the pioneer of 12 tone-technique in Italy composed of the second piece of Tre Poemi that was organized into binary form. The feature of melody that was made up of one row and its various segmentation and combination was the expression of emotion. The corresponding rhythm was composed of 6 rhythmic figures that are variously combined by diminution, augmentation, and modification. These elements provided an ample melodic line. An accompaniment part features polyphonic progression and an instrumentation was designed for various sound through an acoustic contrast. After all the contents, Dallapiccola intended to make up an expressive melody similar to the 19th century Italy opera through an innovation of 20th century, twelve tone technique. Consequently, he tried to merge the traditional music elements with twelve-tone music.

낸캐로우의 자동피아노를 위한 「스터디」에 나타난 리듬 구조의 원리

Colon Nancarrow, as one of the most radical American composers, has developed this rhythmic innovations and has led the complex rhythmic structures in its epitome. Nancarrow composed about fifty pieces called, Studies for player piano. Using rhythm and tempo as the main elements, he has carried out revolutionary experiments. He used techniques of ostinato, isorhythm, tempo canon and acceleration to create rhythmic complexities. As a result, Nancarrow wanted to accomplish his esthetic purpose, temporal dissonance, through decreasing or deleting of synchronous vibration at strong beat. Nancarrow has been no doubt one of the most revolutionary composers in twentieth- century music, influencing other significant contemporary composers such as Carter, Cage, and Ligeti. What Nancarrow has accomplished in musical structure through embodiment of rhythmic complexities is unequal to any other musical innovations of the time.
