Purpose : Diabetic foot complications are significant problems in diabetes mellitus and often result in lower extremity amputation. This study was conducted to verify the effects of foot care education on compliance with foot care and diabetic foot complications when the patient is an elder with diabetes. Method: A group pretest-posttest design was used to examine the effects of 6 months of foot care education with a group of 13 elders with diabetes. The major dependent variables including foot care compliance and diabetic foot complications were measured at the beginning and end of the treatment period to examine the effects of foot care education. Result : There were no significant differences in total foot care compliance scores and presence of diabetic foot complication after 6 months, Conclusion : Interventions involving problem based education and pursuing long-time effects may be more effective in implementing and sustaining improvements than just group education or one time interventions for elders with diabetes.

철근부식에 의해 발생된 녹은 철근 주위의 콘크리트에 팽창압력을 발생시켜 콘크리트의 균열유발, 피복콘크리트의 박리나 탈락, 철근의 단면적 감소들을 야기 시킨다. 또한 철근콘크리트 구조물 내에 매입된 철근의 부식은 철근과 콘크리트의 일체 거동을 저하시킴으로써 구조물이 외력에 견딜 수 있는 구조성능의 감소를 초래한다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 스캐너를 이용하여 철근이 부식됨에 따른 철근의 표면적을 측정하여 부식률과 표면 거칠기와의 관계를 파악하였다. 철근부식률 1~2%의 경우에서는 철근 표면적이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 동일 범위내에서 철근의 부착강도가 증가한 기존의 실험결과와 매우 유사한 결과를 나타낸다. 철근부식률 2% 이상에서는 오히려 표면적이 감소하였으며, 이는 단면적 손실로 인한 기존 부착강도 실험과 부합되는 결과를 나타냈다 This paper discusses the surface roughness of corroded reinforcement rebar in reinforced concrete structures focusing on the quantitative measurement technique for rebar corrosion. Reinforcement rebar was corroded using accelerated corrosion induced method and corrosion rates were 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 5%, and 10% of mass losses. Using 3-dimensional scanner each surface profile of reinforcement rebar was established, and surface roughness was measured. Through tests and analyses of corroded reinforcement rebar, the following topics were particularly discussed: measurement of surface roughness, relationship between area and surface roughness, relationship between surface roughness and bond performance. As a result, surface roughness of corroded rebar was found to be very effective to bond strength until 2% of corrosion rate. It was also discussed how to relate surface roughness of corroded rebar to bond strength of reinforced concrete structures.

Concrete void RC slab has its own empty spaces inside on purpose. The nice aspects of this appearance of internal void are basically areduction of self-weight and possible mitigation of noise between floors especially for a residence building. In the past, it has beengreat research interests on shape and size of void and fixture for anti-floating during cast of fresh concrete. This was simply the mainconcern for construction. Nevertheless, this enhancement was achieved by introducing the steel deck plate at the bottom of void slab. Their flexural/shear capacity were needed to be proven by both experiment and analysis. The series of nonlinear finite element analysiswere performed in terms of change of slab depth or a/d, presence of steel deck plate, area of longitudinal steel reinforcement intension. Their failure patterns, load-deflection relations were extensively discussed and compared. 중공형 콘크리트 슬래브는 슬래브 단면 내 빈 공간을 인위적으로 포함한다. 이는 자중감소로 동일 재하하중 대비 하중전달능력이 중실단면에 비교하여 동등 이상이다. 더불어, 방음효과가 개선되어 층간소음 개선에 긍정적인 효과가 있다. 중공슬래브 시공에 있어, 내부의 경량성형재의 형상, 위치 및 타설시 부상방지를 위한 고정장치 개발 등이 주요한 이슈가 되어왔다. 최근 이를 개선할 수 있는 데크플레이트를 하면에 갖는 중공슬래브의 실험적 연구가 진행되어, 시공성을 개선하고자 하였다. 이와 더불어, 휨성능과 전단성능의 충족여부를 실험적으로 확인하였다. 그러나 시공시 부착된 경량성형재의 영향으로 극한하중시 파괴패턴을 파악하기 어려운 점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 최근 새로이 제안된 데크플레이트를 슬래브하면에 갖는 중공형 슬래브의 휨거동 및 전단거동에 대한 해석적 연구를 하였다. 슬래브의 유효높이의 변화, 인장철근의 증가, 데크플레이트의 유무, 전단지간 변화에 따른 파패턴과 하중-변위 관계를 3차원 비선형유한요소해석을 통해 검토하였다.

Shoo Zan Zu(秋山図, The painting of fall mountain) written by Akutakawa Rhyeunoske is a story in which two descendant masters talk about authenticity of 「Shoo Zan Zu」- a painting of Hwang Ilbong(黄一峰) in China. The dialogues of these two masters ends up in a scene of laughter with the conclusion that whether the painting actually exists or not does not matter as long as it remains in mind. This means that the abolute aesthetics which the artist pursues is a kind of spiritual value rather than any form of substance. In particular, the last scene depicting those two masters chatting with fall mountains in the background is a kind of Kanzanzitoku(寒山拾得). Revealed is an enchanted scene, showing that they reach the state of vimutti(=free from the secular world). It is the result of matching up <contents> with <form> in complete harmony. Thus, the absolute aesthetics the author is pursuing in his story is not the painting, but rather the enchanted scene of Kanzanzitoku by utilizing painting techniques.
