A Propagated-Mode LISP-DDT Mapping System
Soonghwan Ro(노승환) 대한전기학회 2016 전기학회논문지 Vol.65 No.12
The Locator/Identifier Separation Protocol (LISP) is a new routing architecture that implements a new semantic for IP addressing. It enables the separation of IP addresses into two new numbering spaces: Endpoint Identifiers (EIDs) and Routing Locators (RLOCs). This approach will solve the issue of rapid growth of the Internet’s DFZ (default-free zone). In this paper, we propose an algorithm called the Propagated-Mode Mapping System to improve the map request process of LISP-DDT.

Accurate tracking of the sinkholes that are appearing frequently now is an important method of protecting human and property damage. Although many sinkhole detection systems have been proposed, it is still far from completely solved especially in-depth area. Furthermore, detection of sinkhole algorithms experienced the problem of unstable result that makes the system difficult to fire a warning in real-time. In this paper, we proposed a method of sinkhole tracking by deep learning and data association, that takes advantage of the recent development of CNN transfer learning. Our system consists of three main parts which are binary segmentation, sinkhole classification, and sinkhole tracking. The experiment results show that the sinkhole can be tracked in real-time on the dataset. These achievements have proven that the proposed system is able to apply to the practical application.

We present Mcubic, a new Multipath TCP congestion control algorithm, from design to implementation. Mcubic is an extended version of TCP Cubic. Our experiment results indicate that Mcubic still maintains significant advances over TCP Cubic for high-speed long-latency networks and satisfies the new requirements for multipath transmission, which include traffic shifting, throughput improvement, and fairness. We highlight the approach taken by the Mcubic algorithm to improve the Multipath TCP connection throughputs in both short and long latency paths and the traffic shifting efficiency through the paths. In this study, the proposed protocol is implemented as a test bed, and the reliability of the experiment result is higher than that of simulation.

The Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is a network localized mobility management protocol that do not support inter-domain mobility management protocols. When the MN(Mobile Node) moves into another LMD(Local Mobility Domain), the MN must change its PMIPv6 home address, which cause that the nature of the network-based mobility of the PMIPv6 cannot be retained. In this paper, we propose a solution for inter-domain mobility support in PMIPv6 networks using overlap-MAG functionality that allows current communication sessions of a MN without mobility protocol stacks to be maintained, even when the MN moves into another LMD. Thus, our proposed solution can overcome the local mobility support of PMIPv6. We then evaluate and compare network performance between our proposed solution, PMIPv6 and host based handover protocols.

XVC (eXtensible Viewer Composition) is an in-vehicle user interface framework for telematics applications. It provides a document-oriented applications model enables drivers to make use of multiple information services simultaneously, while maintaining satisfactory control of their vehicles. In this paper, we present the usability test on XVC framework that was performed to evaluate how the XVC client may affect the driving work of drivers while trying to make use of its functions. The evaluation was performed using the Advanced Automotive Simulator System at KATECH (Korea Automobile Technology Institute). Furthermore, we also analyzed the advantages of XVC Framework and compared over non-XVC Framework through test results.

The Locator/Identifier Separation Protocol (LISP) is a new routing architecture that implements a new semantic for IP addressing. It enables the separation of IP addressing into two new numbering spaces : Endpoint Identifiers (EIDs) and Routing Locators (RLOCs). This approach will solve the issue of rapid growth of the Internets DFZ (Default-Free Zone). LISP relies on a mapping system to provide bindings between locators and identifiers. Because the mapping system is a critical protocol component, several mapping systems were proposed. Among them, the most common protocol is LISP+ALT. However, it has scalability issues. LISP Delegated Database Tree(LISP-DDT) was designed as replacement. In this paper, we propose an algorithm called the Propagated-Mode Mapping System to improve the map request process of LISP-DDT.

LVC Simulation is composed of Live, Virtual and Constructive systems which are linked by wired/wireless network. Massive simulation data greater than that of individual simulation is transmitted in real-time in order to share informations which are necessary to simulate synthetic battlefield. Therefore in order to construct correct battlefield reproduction and fair fighting environment, prediction and analysis of network resources are necessary in building the LVC simulation system. This paper propose tools and methods with which network performance can be predicted and analyzed in aviation engagement LVC simulation system using the network simulation. To estimate the bandwidth of wired link we implement network bandwidth prediction system and tool for the LVC simulation based on the DIS protocol. Also for wireless link we determine an extensible simulation system and implement a wireless protocol model using the QualNet network simulator.
