중국 신세대 농민공의 분화와 청년 빈곤 문제 ― ‘싼허 청년(三和靑年)’의 사례를 중심으로

중국 경제 발전 과정과 함께 대두되기 시작한 농민공 문제는 그동안 다양하게 개진되어 왔다. 농민공 문제를 어떠한 시각에서 바라볼 것인가는 중국 사회ㆍ경제 모델에 대한 분석과도 관련되어 있다. 오늘날 농민공은 세대 문제가 더해져 더욱 복잡한 양상을 띤다고 할 수 있다. 농촌 및 전통 공동체와 깊은 유대를 가지고 있던 윗 세대 농민공과 달리, 신세대 농민공들은 농촌과의 유대가 현저히 떨어지며, 스스로를 농민이라고 의식하지도 않는다. 80년대 이후 출생한 이 신세대 농민공은 의식이나 생활방식 측면에서 새로운 특징들을 보이는데, 이와 관련하여 선전에 출현한 ‘싼허 청년’은 최근 급증하고 있는 청년 빈곤 상태를 보여주는 사례 가운데 하나로 주목된다. 이들은 선전 룽화구에 위치한 ‘싼허인력시장’을 중심으로 형성된 청년집단으로 대다수가 90허우로 구성되어 있으며, 일용직을 전전하며 최저 생계를 유지하며 살아간다. 문제는 이들의 출현을 단순히 일시적이고 우발적인 현상으로 볼 수만은 없다는 점이다. 이들의 출현은 중국의 경제구조와 상향이동이 불가능한 농민공의 현실적인 제약, 청년층 사이에 팽배한 좌절과 불안의 심리, 포디즘식 공장문화에 대한 반감 등 다양한 요인들이 복합적으로 작용한 결과라고 할 수 있다. 싼허 청년은 도시에 대한 꿈과 성공에 대한 열망을 가지고 선전에 온 많은 청년들이 싼허에서 목적의식을 잃고 위태로운 삶으로 내몰리게 되는 과정을 보여주고 있다. 이는 도시 적응에 실패한 개별적 사례에 국한되는 것이 아니라 경제 성장의 화려한 외피에 가려진 중국 사회의 일면을 드러내는 것이라고 할 수 있다.

Bi Feiyu is a writer who has been very active so far since 1990s, whose major works have won numerous literary awards and have simultaneously been translated and published in many foreign countries. In particular, the novel Three Sisters has been recognized on its literary value, as having won the 3rd Lu Xun Literary Prize in 2005 and the 4th Man Asian Literary Prize in 2010, and at the same time, also gained much popularity from the public. As he has attracted public attention in China and abroad, researches have been extensively conducted on him as well, but it could be said that domestic researches on Bi Feiyu are relatively inadequate, compared to his awareness. Considering his entire creations, The Moon Opera(靑衣) and Three Sisters, published since 2000, may be important inflection points. Either before or after this period, his early creation, which has focused on the questions in history, languages, and philosophy, changed into adopting the realistic subject matters; even in the creative method, the early avant-garde style was changed into the direction where the realistic factors are remarkable. Accordingly, we can recognize that in the novel, Three Sisters, the writer has put his heart and soul into the problems of the relationship between human beings and the imagery of characters. Particularly, the novel focuses on describing the relationship involving power, where power becomes an allegory on the tyrannical system. Through the three sisters, Bi Feiyu highly emphasizes the process of desiring for power and the structure of violence inherent in it. And we come to be able to find the shadow of the Cultural Revolution in the structure of desires and violence, which he depicted. He doesn't directly mention the Cultural Revolution or depict revolutionary characters in his novel, but the unconscious nature of violence inherent in it is being embodied via everyday life. The chain of desires and violence, which has been passed down to “Yumi”, “Yuxiu(玉秀)”, and “Yuyang(玉秧)”, dismantles the boundaries between actors and victims and comes to reveal the nature of violence concealed behind everyday life.

OBJECTIVES In this study, we conducted an exploratory analysis of the current media trends on schizophrenia using text-mining methods. METHODS First, web-crawling techniques extracted text data from 575 news articles in10 major newspapers between 2018 and 2019, which were selected by searching “schizophrenia” in the Naver News. We had developed document-term matrix (DTM) and/or term-document matrix (TDM) through pre-processing techniques. Through the use of DTM and TDM, frequency analysis, cooccurrence network analysis, and topic model analysis were conducted. RESULTS Frequency analysis showed that keywords such as “police,” “mental illness,” “admission,” “patient,” “crime,” “apartment,” “lethal weapon,” “treatment,” “Jinju,” and “residents” were frequently mentioned in news articles on schizophrenia. Within the article text, many of these keywords were highly correlated with the term “schizophrenia” and were also interconnected with each other in the co-occurrence network. The latent Dirichlet allocation model presented 10 topics comprising a combination of keywords: “police-Jinju,” “hospital-admission,” “research-finding,” “care-center,” “schizophrenia-symptom,” “society-issue,” “family-mind,” “woman-school,” and “disabled-facilities.” CONCLUSION The results of the present study highlight that in recent years, the media has been reporting violence in patients with schizophrenia, thereby raising an important issue of hospitalization and community management of patients with schizophrenia.

클로자핀 투여와 관련된 발열:빈도, 임상 양상 및 관련 인자 조사

목 적:본 연구는 클로자핀 유발 발열이 있는 환자들남희정 등 239 의 임상적 특성과 경과를 파악하고 발열의 관련 인자를 찾기 위해 시행되었다. 방 법:196년부터 204년 3월까지 삼성서울병원 정신과 보호병동에서 4주 이상 입원하여 클로자핀을 복용한 56명의 환자의 진료 기록을 조사한 후향적 연구이다. 이 중 약물 유발 발열로 진단이 내려진 환자를 대상으로 하여 발열의 임상적 특징과 경과를 조사하였다. 또한 발열이 없었던 환자군과 인구학적, 임상적 차이를 분석하여 발열 관련 인자를 조사하였다. 결 과:56명의 환자 중 21명에서 발열이 있었고 이 중 5명은 감염이 원인인 것으로 확정되거나 추정되는 환자였다. 최종적으로 16명(31%)에서 클로자핀 유발 발열이 있었다. 평균 투여 후 1일째 발열이 있었고 3일 동안 지속되었으며 평균 39℃까지 발생하였다. 일부 환자에서 호흡기계나 소화기계 증상을 동반하고 있었고 발열에 대해 평가한 검사상 이상 소견이 있었으나 비특이적이었다. 모든 환자들은 클로자핀을 중단하지 않고 회복되었다. 발열이 없던 35명의 환자들과 클로자핀 유발 발열이 있던 16명의 환자들에서 증상의 심각성 정도와 호전도, 그리고 다른 부작용 정도를 비교한 결과 통계학적으로 유의미한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 또한 성별과 연령의 차이, 신체적 질병이나 병용약물의 유무, 흡연과 음주 여부에서도 유의미한 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 결 론:본 연구를 통해 클로자핀 유발 발열의 임상 특성이 조사되었다. 본 연구에서 조사한 변수에 한해서는 클로자핀 유발 발열과 관련 있는 인자가 발견되지 않았다. Objective: This study aims at investigating the incidence, clinical nature and associated clinical characteristics of the clozapine-induced fever. Methods: Retrospective review of hospital records was performed for 56 inpatients who had started to take clozapine and stayed at the hospital for four or more weeks after the initiation of clozapine treatment. Results & Conclusions: Clozapine-induced fever was developed in 31% of the patients. The mean peak temperature was 39oC and the mean duration of the fever was 3 days. Fever was developed average of 11 days after the initiation of clozapine treatment. All the patients were recovered without discontinuation of clozapine. Demographic variables, the clinical response to clozapine, other drugs administered with clozapine, and the presence of other adverse effects of clozapine were not associated with the clozapine-induced fever.

첸중수(錢鍾書) 단편소설에 나타난웃음의 역설― 단편소설집 《사람⋅짐승⋅귀신(人⋅獸⋅鬼)》을 중심으로

Qian Zhongshu, who is well-known as a scholar and writer, has built a wide range of thought systems based on his vast knowledge of humanities. It is faithfully reflected in the texts of Qian Zhongshu’s works - proses and novels - as well as his academic works. As researches on Qian Zhongshu become active, his texts have also been reviewed and examined in various aspects. When approached from a literary perspective, Qian Zhongshu has often been highly regarded as a master of satire and humor. This is a prominent feature in the evaluation and analysis of his novel “Fortress Besieged.” But, while “Fortress Besieged” has received much attention from Qian Zhongshu researchers, there are not many studies of his short story book, “Humans, Beasts, and Ghosts.” It is true that his short novels do not reach the “Fortress Besieged” in terms of maturity and technique, but criticism on modern civilization and the way of operating comic elements has already been tried from his short stories. Those short stories are based on Qian Zhongshu’s own cynical views, which are derived from his subjectivity and critical perception as a ‘marginal man’ that are complexly formed over several levels. In this respect, the comic elements that he utilized in his novels can be regarded as a critical strategies to overthrow the authoritative and formal values or order system by ridicule. The order and values of civilization disguised as seriousness are revealed in his comic production. 첸중수는 익히 알려져 있다시피 학자와 작가로서 방대한 인문지식을 바탕으로 폭넓은 사유체계를 구축하고 있다. 이는 첸중수의 학술저작뿐만 아니라 산문과 소설 등의 텍스트에 충실하게 반영되어 있다. 첸중수 연구가 활발해지면서 그가 남긴 텍스트 역시 다양한 측면에서 다루어지고 있다. 문학적인 접근에 있어서 첸중수는 흔히 풍자, 유머의 대가로 많이 부각되어 왔다. 이는 주로 장편소설 《포위된 성》에 대한 평가 및 분석에서 눈에 띄는 특징이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 《포위된 성》이 첸중수 연구자들 사이에서 크게 주목받은 반면 그의 단편소설집 《사람⋅짐승⋅귀신》에 대한 연구는 그간 많지 않았다. 물론 그의 단편소설은 완성도나 기교의 측면에서 《포위된 성》에 미치지 못하는 것은 사실이나, 현대문명에 대한 비판적 성찰과 희극적 요소를 운용하는 방식은 이미 단편소설에서부터 시도되어 왔다고 할 수 있다. 그의 단편소설들은 첸중수 특유의 냉소적 시선이 주된 기조를 이루는데, 이는 여러 층위를 걸쳐 복잡하게 형성된 그의 경계인으로서의 주체성과 비판인식에서 비롯된 것이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 그가 소설에서 운용하고 있는 희극적 요소 역시 권위적이고 공식적인 가치관이나 질서체계를 비웃음으로 전복시키려는 하나의 비판적 전략이라고 할 수 있다. 진지함으로 가장된 문명의 질서와 가치관은 그의 희극적 연출 속에서 그 이면을 드러내게 되는 것이다.

둥시(東西) 장편소설 『운명 바꾸기(篡改的命)』의 알레고리적 독법

The issue of migrant workers reveals the hidden side of Chinese society that has achieved rapid growth. Even while having played a leading role in the Chinese industrialization, urbanization, and modernization legends, they were concurrently perceived as unfamiliar beings positioned outside the urban boundary. The life of the protagonist Wang Chang-chi in Dongxi's novel The Tampered Life depicts such weary life of the migrant worker. Through the desperate struggle of the so-called “life without three essentials(三無人生)” that are money, power, and background, the author tells the absurdities of modern society. What the novel presents as an allegory can also be referred to as the backside of modern society concealed in the utopian myth of success. The reason this study aims to focus on allegory is that the form of allegory is in touch with none other than the thinking about modernity. The protagonist Wang Chang-chi experiences miserable failures in the repetitive ill-fated relationship with Lin Jia-bo; the subtle tense relationships between success and failure, hope and despair, and dream and awakening that are exhibited in this process coexist with contradictions and clash and unveils the cover-ups. Just as Wang Chang-chi did not intend to walk toward the path of unhappiness, neither did Lin Jia-bo exert direct violence or power. However, the degree of force such unintended power exerts clearly implicates the structural power of modern society. The novel vividly portrays how unseen power internalized in social structure penetrates an individual and daily life. Moreover, tuning ears to the sounds made in this most everyday, lowest place will probably be the kernel of thinking that pierces the creation of the author Dongxi. Certainly, he seems to drive the characters into failures and frustrations without granting a utopia, but nonetheless, he emphasizes that their wretched battles paradoxically hold a ray of “hope.”
