The increasing awareness of food allergy imposes the parallel task of proper treatment and prevention. 'Food allergy' means individualistic adverse reaction to food that have an immunologic basis. Most of the known food allergens are proteins, although some food additives are thought to have allergenic activity also. Treatment is basically dietary avoidance. But it requires considerable knowledge of food composition on the part of the allergic individual. Dieticians should be trained to provide better advice on the construction of safe and effective avoidance diets.

The concern for dissolved phosphate in water/wastewater has been increasing because of the risk for eutrophication. A variety of conventional and advanced technologies were applied to meet the enforced new regulation of phosphate around the world. However, there still remained a lot of challenge because most introduced/developed method, for example, biological and physic-chemical treatment is not easy to satisfy the new regulation of phosphate in water. In order to meet the new regulation, the application of ion exchanger has been tried which showed that the removal efficiency for phosphate was strongly determined by in the presence of the competing ion, especially sulfate. As results, a new class of ion exchanger governed by ligand exchange was developed and investigated to increase the selectivity for phosphate. The current study using organic/inorganic anion exchanger developed with Lewis acid-base interaction confirms the selectivity for phosphate over sulfate. According to isotherm test and column test, the value of the maximum phosphate uptake (Q) showed 64 mg/g as po4 and the breakthrough for phosphate occurs after 1000 min and completely finishes at 2500 min, respectively.
Ferrate(VI)를 이용한 Trichloroethylene의 분해특성 연구

The degradation characteristics of TCE by Ferrate(VI) oxidation have been studied. The degradation efficiency of TCE in aqueous solution was investigated at various pH values, Ferrate(VI) doses, initial concentrations of TCE and aqueous solution temperature values. GC-ECD was used to analyze TCE. The optimum conditions of TCE degradation were obtained pH 7.0 and 25℃ in aqueous solution. Also, the experimental results showed that TCE removal efficiency increased with the decrease of initial concentration of TCE. And intermediate products were identified by GC-MS techniques. Ethyl Chloride, Chloroform, Ethylene,1,2-dichloroethane and 1,1,2-trichloroethane were identified as a reaction intermediate, and Cl- was identified as an end product.
전기화학적 합성 Ferrate(VI)를 이용한 수중 Trichloroethylene 분해특성 연구

The degradation efficiency of TCE in aqueous solution was investigated at various pH values, Ferrate(VI) doses and aqueous solution temperature values. GC-ECD was used to analyze TCE. TCE was degraded rapidly by ferrate(VI) in aqueous solution, Also, the experimental results showed that TCE removal efficiency increased with the increase of Ferrate(VI) doses. The effect of pH is investigated and the maximum degradation efficiency is obtained at pH 7. And intermediate products were identified by GC-MS techniques. Ethyl Chloride, Dichloroethylene, Chloroform, 1,1-dichloropropene, Trichloroacetic acid and Trichloroethane were identified as a reaction intermediate, and Cl- was identified as an end product.
