<원주어리랑>과 원주오리골농요 연구 -연출을 중심으로-

원주오리골농요는 지금의 원주시 행구동 신월랑과 반곡동의 오리골, 봉대, 뒷골, 영랑, 입춘내 등지에서 불리던 소리로 신세타령, 갈꺽기소리, 원주어리랑, 모심기소리, 김매기소리 등이 있다. 원주오리골농요는 농악이 성행 하였던 행구동과 반곡동 인근 마을 주민들이 모여서 농악과 함께 이러한 농요를 불렀다. 박희완은 원주어리랑을 비롯하여 이러한 농요를 기억하고 계시는 분으로 입춘내에 살았다. 그는 오리골 농악에서 태평소를 연주하며 근 30여 년 활동 하였으며 지역에서 위와 같은 소리를 ‘원주오리골농요’라 불려지게 되었다. 원주오리골농요는 연구자 남강연이 농자천하지대본을 바탕으로 스토리텔링하여 민속작품으로 재현 연출, 2015년 제26회 강원민속예술축제에서 우수상, 2017년 제58회 한국민속예술축제에서 동상을 수상하였다. 원주오리골농요는 예전에 비료나 거름 등이 부족하여 산에서 갈을 뜯어 거름으로 사용하던 시절이 있었는데 그때 부르던 농요이다. 원주는 행구동, 흥업면, 호저면 등 여러 지역에서 갈을 뜯어 논농사의 거름으로 사용하였다. 원주어리랑을 비롯하여 원주오리골농요는 원주지역의 민속예술작품으로 보전 전승되어야 한다. As the songs enjoyed in Origol, Bongdae, Doitgol, Yeongrang, and Ipchunnae of Bangok-dong, and Sinwolrang of Haenggu-dong in the current Wonju-si, the Wonju Origol Farming Songs include the Sinsetaryeong(one’s hard-luck story), Galggeokgi-Song, Wonju Eorirang, Rice Planting Song, and Weeding Song. The Wonju Origol Farming Songs were sung together with Nongak(Korean traditional farming music) by village residents around Haenggu-dong and Bangok-dong where the Nongak was popular. As a person who remembered these farming songs including Wonju Eorirang, Park, Hee-Wan lived in Ipchunnae. He actively performed in the Origol Nongak for almost 30 years by playing the Taepyeongso. And the songs above have been called ‘Wonju Origol Farming Songs’ in this region. The Wonju Origol Farming Songs were represented/directed as a folk work by the researcher Nam, Gang-Yeon through storytelling based on the ‘Agriculture is the prop of the country’. They received the excellence award at the 26th Gangwon Folk Arts Festival in 2015, and the bronze prize at the 58th Korean Folk Arts Festival in 2017. The Wonju Origol Farming Songs were sung when collecting reeds from mountain to use them as fertilizer. In many areas of Wonju such as Haenggu-dong, Heungeop-myeon, and Hojeo-myeon, the reeds were used as fertilizer of rice farming. The Wonju Origol Farming Songs including Wonju Eorirang should be preserved and inherited as a folk artistic work of Wonju region.

평창아라리는 강원도 평창지역에서 전승되고 있는 아라리계열의 민요로 유네스코 인 류무형문화유산에 등재된 아리랑의 한 부류이다. 평창아라리의 최초의 기록은 1912년 조선총독부 조사자료『통속적독물급이언이요조사에 관한 건(通俗的讀物及俚諺俚謠調査 에 關한 件)』에 ‘평창’이라는 항목이 있으며, 그 후 1930년대 김소운이 채록 편집한『조선구전민요집』에 ‘평창아리랑’이라는 이름으로 5수가 수록되어있다. 당시 평창지역에서는 ‘아리랑’, ‘아라리’, ‘아리랑타령’으로 전하며 평창군의 각 면에서 공통적인 노래는〈아라리〉이다. 평창아라리는 강원도 긴 아라리계의 민요로 박자는 불규칙하지만 박은 3소박으로 규칙적인 8분의 18박자의 중모리 장단이다. 곡조는 ‘mi’로 종지하는 강원도 메나리토리의 전형적 특징을 지니고 있다. 평창아라리 전승은 평창아라리전수관에서 보존회 회원들을 중심으로 전승하고 있으며, 많은 공연활동과 시민극 등 다양한 활동을 하고 있다. 또한, 지역민속과 어우러져 민속문화의 꽃을 피워냈다. 아리랑유산은 우리의 행복소와 건강치유가 내재되어 있는 지역무형문화유산으로서의 중요한 가치를 보유하고 있다. 평창아라리의 특성과 선율의 다양함을 살리고 역량 있는 전승자 양성으로 평창전역에서의 전승 활성화와 맥락형성으로 창조적 지역문화가 확산되기를 기대한다. Pyeongchang Arari is a folk song of the Arari line that is being handed down in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, and is a type of Arirang that is listed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Pyeongchang Arari’s first record includes the item “Pyeongchang” in the 1912 survey data of the Governor-General of Korea. After that, “Joseon-gu Jeonminyo Collection,” edited by Kim So un in the 1930s, contains five numbers under the name of “Pyeongchang Arirang.” At that time, the song is said to be “Arirang,” “Arirang” and “Arirang Taryeong” in Pyeongchang area, and the song common in each aspect of Pyeongchang-gun is “Arari.” Pyeongchang Arari is a folk song of the long arari region of Gangwon Province, and the beat is irregular, but the beat is 3 small, which is a regular 18-8-beat is Jungmori rhythm. The tune is typical of the Gangwon Menaritori, which ends with ‘mi’. The Pyeongchang Arari Tradition is dominated by members of the conservation association at the Pyeongchang Arari Hall, and has been engaged in various activities such as performance activities and civic dramas. In addition, it has been combined with local folklore to create a flower of folk culture. Arirang Heritage has an important value as an intangible cultural heritage of the region where our happiness center and health treatment are embedded. It is hoped that creative local culture will spread throughout Pyeongchang by revitalizing the Tradition and forming a context by enhancing the diversity of Pyeongchang Arari’s characteristics and melody and fostering competent winners.

영월아리랑은 강원도 영월지역에서 전승되고 있는 아라리계열의 민요로 유네스코 인류무형문화유산에 등재된 아리랑의 한 부류이다. 최초의 기록은 1912년 조선총독부 조사 자료 『통속적독물급이언이요조사에 관한 건(通俗的讀物及俚諺俚謠調査에 關한 件)』에 강원도 영월군(寧越郡)에서 채집한 노래로 ‘아라리타령’이 전한다. 당시 영월지역에서 아리랑을 ‘아라리’, ‘아르랑’ 등으로 혼용하여 사용하고 있었다. 또한, 영월아리랑은 1986년 『한국구비문학대계(韓國口碑文學大系)』 영월군 편에 <영월아리랑>으로 나와 있으며, 1992년 『영월군지(寧越郡誌)』 에는 <사랑타령>으로 전하여 오고 있다. 영월아리랑은 애정 관련 내용이 절대적으로 많다. 영월뗏목아라리는 지역성과 정체성을 나타내는데 중요하다. 2014년 홍원도와 2017년 조장환의 영월뗏목아라리도 전한다. 영월아리랑은 강원도 긴 아라리계의 민요로 8분의 18박자의 중모리장단이다. 곡조는 주로 ‘mi’로 종지하고 ‘la’로 연결되며, 내려올 때 경과 음으로 ‘sol’을 사용하고 있는 메나리토리 특징을 지니고 있다. 간혹 후렴을 부르며 ‘질러내는 형’을 선호하지만 정선아리량보다 선율구조의 다양성이 보인다. 영월아리랑은 영월여성회관 민요반 회원들이 중심이 되어 전승하고 있다. 영월아리랑은 영월군민의 자긍심과 애향심을 바탕으로 전승체계를 구체적 전문적으로 갖춰나가야 할 것이다. Yeongwol Arirang is a type of Arari folk song that is passed down in Youngwol, Gangwon Province, and is listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The earliest records were in the 1912 investigation data of the Chosun Governor-General’s Office on the Survey of Popular Poisons Levels (Ara-ri, a song collected by Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do). ‘Taryeong’ conveys.At that time, Arirang was used interchangeably in Youngwol region as “Arari” and “Arirang”. In addition, Yeongwol Arirang was introduced as Yeongwol Arirang on the side of Yeongwol-gun in 1986, and was transferred to Sarangtaryeong in 1992 in Yeongwol-gun. Youngwol Arirang has absolutely a lot of love-related content. Youngwol Raft Mok Arari is important in expressing locality and identity. 2014 nyeon hong-won dowa 2017 nyeon jojanghwan-ui yeong-wol ttesmog alalido jeonhanda. Youngwol Arirang is a long Arari folk song from Gangwon-do, with an 18/8th beat of Jungmori. The tune is usually terminated as ‘mi’ and connected to ‘la’, and has the characteristic of a manator that uses ‘sol’ as a transcription when descending. He sometimes sings the chorus and prefers the ‘pronounced brother’, but the melodic structure is more diverse than Jeong Seon-Arirang. yeong-wol alilang-eun yeong-wol yeoseong hoegwan min-yo ban hoewondeul-i jungsim-idoeeo jeonseunghagoissda. Yeongwol Arirang should have a specific and specialized transmission system based on the pride and affection of the Youngwol people.
