      • 광섬유를 이용한 천문관측기기 개발에 관한 연구

        The aim of this article is to indentify the basic properties of optical fiber and to enlarge the sphere of observation study by using it in astronomical instruments. In addition we will search the possibility of optics application through astronomical observation experiment using optical fiber. We arranged basic properties about optical fiber, such as the principle of penetration of optical fiber, transmission properties and its treatment techniques. We also measured attenuation(α) and projection rate(P) of optics transmission through the experiment of 1mm Φand 3mm Φfiber using 16inch cassegrain reflector and photoelectric photometry and K.U.A.O.(Kongju University Astronomical Observatory). From the result of studying the application field of optical fiber, we are able to expect the development of various observation technique, great enlargement of observation study field and elevation of accuracy rate. Through the observation experiment we can attract the following results. 1. The attenuation of plastic fiber is all 0.1dB/m in U. B. V. filter. 2. The loss of optics in optical fiber edge section in more than 0.6. 3. The loss in short plastic fiber is due to the loss in edge section. We can lead the following conclusion about the use of plastic fiber from above results. 1. The attenuation of plastic fiber is larger than that of silica fiber, but it doestn`t matter if only we use it in a short length. 2. Plastic fiber is easy to treat edge section because of low fusion point, and its diameter is so large that we can use the optical fiber in astronomical observation instruments, if we can reduce the loss rate by reflection with improving the edge section treatment technique of plastic fiber.

      • 키 프레임을 이용한 동영상 검색에 관한 연구

        The primary goal of video parsing is to accurately detect fast/gradual scene changes to index the video data so that future retrieval may be performed efficiently. Due to the sheer volume of the video data, however, the goal of accurate detection must be met by some real-time (fast) automatic (or at least semi-automatic) video parsing mechanism. For this purpose, I have developed a fast algorithm to detect gradual scene change and also detect camera motions to reduce false positives (falsely declaring a scene-change). In this dissertation, we propose a new approach that detects the change of scene which contains fast motion, zooming, dissolve in AVI video sequence. The proposed scheme adopts the feature matching technique which ALH(Average of Luminance Histogram) in each frame with those in the previous frame. Experimental results show that the proposed method performs better in detection scene changes than other conventional methods.

      • 식변광성 44 i Bootis의 주기 변화

        The photolectric observations were carried out for a W-UMa type eclipsing binary 44i Boo in eight nights between March and May 1991, using the 40 ㎝ telescope of Kong-Ju National University Observatory. A star of HR 5581(V=5??.62, F7V) was used as a comparison star, for it is near in the celestial sphere and similar spectral type with 44i Boo. A total of 210 observations were made, respectively, in V and B band. From the observations, we obtained the new period of P=0.2678150 day shorter than known period. The period has increased still 1986, but repidly decreased from 1986. It seems that the increment is caused by the cataclysmic phenomena and that the decrement is caused by the orbital light-time effect to the tertiary.

      • 가상현실 기술을 활용한 중학교 과학 1 '지각의 물질' 단원의 수준별 WBI 개발

        우리는 7차 교육과정 중학교 과학 1'지각의 물질' 단원에 대한 가상현실 기술을 활용한 수준별 WBI를 개발하였다. 개발 결과는 인터넷에서 708명의 학습자들에게 투입되어 그 반응이 조사되었다. 학습 목표, 수업 설계, 화면의 구성, 이용의 편의성 등에 대한 응답결과는 80% 이상이 긍정적이었다. 따라서 본 프로그램은 사이버 학습에 활용할 수 있는 가치가 있다고 판단된다. We developed the WBI learning programs considered learner levels for the unit of the Earth crust materials of secondary school science 1 using virtual reality technique. The developed program has been evaluated with questionarie to 708 students after learning on the Web. The answer showed about 80% affirmatively. Therefore, this program will be able to use in cyber science 1 learning situation.

      • Romey의 方法에 따른 高等學校 地球科學 敎科書의 分析

        Science Ⅰ(2) and Earth Science, the high school textbooks by the 5th curriculu, were analyzed by Romey`s method and analytic results were compard. The results of Science Ⅰ(2) textbooks are as follows: In the contents, the index of students involvement ranges from 0.16 to 0.02. The average indices in each chapter of 8 different textbooks are 0.08, 0.10, 0.09, 0.08 and 0.05. The maximum index is in chapter Ⅱ and the maximum index chapter Ⅴ. In the figures and tables, the index of students involvement ranges from 1.00 to 0.00. The average indices in each chapter of 8 different textbooks are 0.29, 0.25, 0.21, 0.25 and 0.14. The maximum index is in chapter Ⅰ and the minimum index in chapterⅤ. In the exrecises, the index of student involvement ranges from 1.50 to 0.00. The average indices in each chapter of 8 different textbooks are 0.45, 0.23, 0.33, 0.25 and 0.31. The maximum index is in chapter Ⅰ and the minimum index in chapterⅡ. The results of Earth Science textbooks are as follows: In the contents, the index of student involvement ranges from 0.15 to 0.00. The average indices in each chapter of 7 different textbooks are 0.07, 0.06, 0.04 and 0.04. The maximum index is in chapter Ⅰ and the minimum index in chapter Ⅲ and Ⅵ. In the figures and tables, the index of student involvement ranges from 0.67 to 0.00. The average in each chapter of 7 different textbooks are 0.17, 0.21, 0.15 and 0.04. The maximum index is in chapter Ⅱ and the minimum index in chapter Ⅵ. In the exercises, the index of student ranges from 1.00 to 0.00. The average indices in each chapter of 7 different textbooks are 0.23, 0.32, 0.40 and 0.35. The maximum index is in chapter Ⅲ and the minimum index in chapter Ⅰ. The suitable involvement index for inquiry learning should be over 0.40(Romey, 1968), but the indices shown above are below 0.40. Therefore, as a whole, it is considered that Science Ⅰ(2) and Earth Science textbooks by the 5th curriculum are not suitable for inquiry learning. But, partly, ordering contents, figures and tables, and exercises index of student involvement is seen the progressive tendency to 0.40. Therefore, figures and tables than contents, and exercises than figures and tables, and Science Ⅰ(2) than Earth Science are more inquiring. And, according to the textbooks, or chapters, or contents, figures and tables, exercises, index of student involvement are partly higher than 0.40. There would be the possibility of raising the index value of the textbooks if the writer would pay more times, attentions and endeavors in editing new textbooks.

      • 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학교 지구과학 실험의 연계성 분석 : 지질 분야를 중심으로

        The results of the sequentiality analysis in the geologic exeperiments of elementary Natural Science, middle school Science 2, high school Science Ⅰ(2) and Earth Science by the 5th curriculum are summarized as follows; 1) At attention item in textbook written by 5th curriculum there are presented that exeperiments must be over 15%. In the case of elementary school and middle school textbook, it is well considered, but the most high school textbooks are under of standard level. Therefore, it must be detailed the consideration due to unbalance between science textbooks in the contents and number of exeperiment. 2) As a uesult of inquiry skill elements analysis to examine science process skill level of geologic experiments of each school science textbook, it is some difference in accordance with the characteristics of experimental contents and included more inquiry skill elements with increasing to "Natural Science "→ "Science 2"→ "Science Ⅰ(2)"→"Earth Science" as 6.2, 7.2, 8.4, 8.8 of 10 inquiry elements respectively. 3) The sequentiality in "Natural Science" is well considered, but it is not in "Science 2","Science Ⅰ(2)" and "Earth Science" 4) At the next curriculum, we suggest to be indicated the lists of the essential experiments considered cognitive level and sequentiality of earth science experiment.

      • 당화방법을 달리하여 제조한 홍주의 품질특성

        효소 또는 맥아를 사용하여 전분을 당화시킨후 홍국균과 효모를 접종하여 발효시킨 홍주의 에탄올, pH 및 총산, 총당 및 환원당, ??-amylase활성과 색도, 미량 알코올성분, 향기성분을 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 효소구(A), 맥아 1구(B), 맥아 2구(C) 모두 기간이 경과함에 따라 에탄올이 증가하고 12일 이후에는 거의 비슷한 수준을 보였으며 최대값이 11-12%로서 일반적으로 약주의 알코올 함량과 비슷함을 보였다. A, B, C 시험구의 pH는 약간 저하된 다음에 6일 이후에 A 시험구는 3.90-4.10, B시험구는 3.85-3.95, C 시험구는 3.96-4.05의 범위로 큰 변화가 없었다. 총산은 모든 시험구가 발효가 진행되면서 증가하다가 3일 이후부터는 거의 변화가 없었다. 총당의 함량은 담금직후 시험구간에 차이를 보였으나 발효후기에는 9.8-10.0%로 그 차이가 적었다. 또한 환원당도 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 색도는 전반적으로 적색을 나타내는 값이 황색을 나타내는 값보다 높게 나타났다. 미량 알코올성분으로는 propyl alcohol, n-amyl alcohol, iso-amyl alcohol, n-bexyl alcohol, n-heptyl alcohol, phenethyl alcohol이 확인되었고, fusel oil 성분인 n-propyl alcohol, iso-butyl alcohol, iso-amyl alcohol은 0.02mg/ml로 A 시험구 30일 발표시킨 홍주에서 다소 많았으나 식품공전의 주류규격인 0.1%(1mg/ml)보다는 현저하게 적었다. 효소구 및 맥아 2구 홍주의 주 향기성분으로는 ethyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, n-pentane, 3-methyl butanol, 2-methyl butanol, iso-amylacetate, ethyl hexanoate가 확인되었다. 맥아 2구와 효소구 및 발효기간의 차이에 따른 향기성분 함량은 약간 차이가 있으나 비슷한 경향을 보였다. After Hongju was sacchaified with enzyme(group A), malt Ⅰ(group B), malt Ⅱ(group C) and fermented with Monascus major, the changes of ethanol, pH, total acid, reducing sugar, ??-amylase activity, colors, minor alcohol components, components of flavors were determined as follows. Ethanol content of each group (A, B, C) was increased in first step and after 12 days, it seemed to be same level. The maximum level of ethanol was 10~20%, which seemed to be same trend with Yakju, pH of each group(A, B, C) was decreased a little bit, and after 6 days the range of A group was 3.90-4.10, that of B group was 3.85-3.95 and that of C group was 3.96-4.05, which were not largely changed. The total acid was increased during early period of fermentation, however, after 3 days it was not nearly changed. Immediately after fermentation total sugar content of three groups seemed to be different. The latter part of fermentation showed little changes in range of 9.80~10.0%. Reducing sugar content had also trended toward the same. In general, red color was the higher than the yellow color in Hongju(L : 65.54, a : 19.97, b: 8.71). Minor alcohols such as n-amyl alcohol, iso-amyl alcohol, n-hexyl alcohol, n-heptyl alcohol, phenethyl alcohol were determined. Fusel oil components such as n-propyl alcohol isp-butyl alcohol, isoamyl alcohol was 0.02mg/ml in A group which was fermented for 30 days in Hongju. The quantity of fusel oil was much less than 0.1%(1mg/ml) in standard level of Korean Code of Food. After enzyme processing and malt(amylase) processing, major components of flavor were determined, such as ethyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, n-pentane, 3-methyl butanol, 2-methyl butanol, iso-amyl acetate, ethyl hexanoate. Flavor components were a little different according to processing of malt(amylase), that of enzyme and a period of fermentation, however, general trends were same.

      • 단기경제예측을 위한 경기변동 측정방법의 고찰

        단기경제예측을 위한 경기변동 측정방법을 분석하기 위하여 선행연구를 통한 문헌연구 결과 단기 경제 예측을 위한 경기 변동의 측정방법으로는 BSI나 CSI와 같은 체감경기지표를 사용하여 단기경제를 예측할 필요가 있으며 특히 경제상황이 급격히 변화하는 경우에는 체감경기지표가 더 예측력이 있는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 그러므로 구성지표와 작성기법이 최적의 상태로 구성될 수 있도록 경기종합지수의 움직임을 면밀히 검토하여야 하며 새로운 구성지표와 작성기법에 대한 개선과 개발 노력이 있어야 하겠다. 또한 시계열을 이용한 예측모형과 설문조사를 통한 체감경기지표를 이용한 경제예측이 동시에 이루어져 우리 나라의 여건에 적합한 작성기법을 개발하여 사용하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구를 통한 제연으로서 1999년 11월부터 시작된 지역경기종합지수에 대한 측정방법은 지역 경제정책의 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있도록 지역경제 구조와의 연관성을 함께 연구할 필요가 있겠다. The result is as follows; It is difficult of the forecast of the business cycle applying for the business all-items index to put reliance on without a simultaneous development between econometrics and statistics. As one method is not able to become the absolute index, it shall be realized of the economic forecasts applying not only the diminishing business index through the questionaries such as BSI and CSI but the method through forecast one such as AROMA model at the same time. It shall provide the basic data required for the settlement of economic policy, taking into consideration of the regional characteristics all over the country according to the regional business all-items index having been investigated since November 1999.

      • 고등학교 지구과학Ⅰ '기상학' 단원의 수준별 교수 설계 및 적용

        본 연구는 고등학교 지구과학 Ⅰ '기상학' 단원에 대한 수준별 교수설계를 수행한 후 인터넷에서 활용할 수 있는 Web 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 학습 내용의 수준별 분류는 학습 목표 및 교육 내용을 분석하여 기본 학습 내용, 보충학습 내용, 심화학습 내용으로 정리하였다. 2. 수준별로 정리된 내용은 그 내용 특성에 따라 '관찰학습 모형', '발견학습 모형', '발생학습 모형', '가설-검증 모형', '순환학습 모형', '인지갈등 모형', 'STS 모형'을 적용하여 각각 교수설계를 실시하였다. 3. 교수설계 자료를 토대로 Web용 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. The purpose of this study is to get the Web contents considering level for meteorology unit of high school earth science. The results are as follows : 1. The learning contents considering level classified into normal learning task and supplementary learning task and advanced learning task. 2. The learning tasks considered levels were done instructional design applied 7 instructional model, such as the observation-experiment model, the discovery learning model, the learning cycle model, the genetic learning model, the cognitive-conflict model, the hypothesis-verifying model, and the science-technology-society model. 3. The Web contents based on instructional design materials were developed.

        대학생의 전공계열에 따른 인지양식과 자기효능감 및 학업적응의 관계

        본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 전공계열에 따른 장독립-장의존 인지양식과 자기효능감 및 학업적응의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 인지양식에 따른 전공 선택의 중요성을 강조하고, 학업 부적응 학생의 부전공과 복수전공 선택, 학업적응 능력 향상, 그리고 예비 대학생의 대학 전공 선택을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 충남의 C대학교 남녀 대학생 152명으로 극단적장독립 집단과 극단적 장의존 집단으로 분류하였다. 전공은 인문, 사회, 이학, 공학, 예체능 계열로 구분하였다. 검사지는 집단잠입도형 검사지, 자기효능감 검사지 및 학업적용 검사지가 사용되었다. 본 연구결과 다음과 같은 사실이 밝혀졌다. 첫째, 대학생들의 인지양식 유형은 전공계열별로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 둘째, 전체적으로 장독립 및 장의존 인지양식 집단간 자기효능감은 유의한 수준에서 차이가 있었으며, 하위 척도별의 자아조절효능감과 과제난이도에서 차이를 보였다. 전공계열별로는 인문계열에서 자아조절효능감, 공학계열에서 자아조절효능감과 과제난이도, 예체능체열에서 자아조절효능감이 차이를 보였다, 셋째, 전체적으로 장독립-장의존 인지양식 집단간 학업적응력은 유의한 수준에서 차이가 있음을 밝혔다. 전공계열별로 사회계열이 동기, 인문계열이 주변환경, 이학계알이 동기와 적용, 예체능계열이 주변환경에서 차이를 보였다. 이에 인지양식 유형에 따른 전공 선택과 진로지도에 대한 상담적 개입의 필요성을 제언하고 있다. The purpose of this study is to examine the real relation between cognitive style(field-independence and field-dependence), self-efficacy, and academic adjustment and to verify the importance of cognitive style in academic adjustment. For this study, C university was selected in Chungnam area and a total 152 available data was analyzed. Major was classified by college of social science, liberal arts, science, engineering, and music and sport. Three kinds of questionnaires (the Group Embedded Figure Test(GEFT); the Student Self-efficacy to College Questionnaire (SECQ); the Student Adaption to College Questionnaire(SACQ)) were used. The subsets of SECQ are self-regulated efficacy, the degree of difficulty, and self-confidence. The sub sets of SACQ are motivation, application, performance, and academic adjustment. The results were as follows. First, there was no significant relation between cognitive style and major. Second, the field-independent group adjusted better than the field-dependent group in self-dependent efficacy. Third, the field-independent group adjusted better than the field-dependent group in motivation. For students majoring in the college of liberal arts, the field-dependent group adjusted better than the field-independent group in the academic environment. As for the college of social science, the field-dependent group adjusted better than the field-independent group in motivation. For the college of music and sport, the field-independent group adjusted better than the field-dependent-dependent group in application.
