This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the contemporary Chinese fashion market and the competitiveness of Korean fashion brands in China. Fashion professionals experienced in both the Korean and Chinese fashion markets participated to investigate the Shanghai market and consumers. The results of in-depth interviews show that Shanghai is the most favorable city among Tier 1 cities for Korean fashion brands planning on entering into the Chinese market. Shanghai consumers are open to international brands and highly prefer newness in fashion. Contemporary menswear was selected as a potentially big market due to the increase of unique, young, upper-middle-class male consumers. The Korean fashion brands` strength is that they are capable of satisfying Shanghai consumers with excellent product planning and sensory design capabilities. Their disadvantage is that their brand recognition is weaker than that of global and international brands, and their ability to localize to the Chinese market is weak. The opportunity comes is from the Korean Wave, which is a positive for Korea`s products and has good geographical access. The threat is that the Shanghai market is fiercely competitive; having access to many worldwide brands, and the competitiveness of Chinese brands is on the rise. To enter the Shanghai market, creative design ability, trendy product development, skill, and appropriate PR methods such as using Korean culture contents would be required to satisfy the young, powerful consumers in Shanghai.
Future climate changes over the Seoul metropolitan area (SMA) were predicted by the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model using future land-use data from the urban growth model (SLEUTH) and forecast fields from ECHAM5/MPI-OM1 GCM (IPCC scenario A1B). Simulations from the SLEUTH model with GIS information (slope, urban, hill-shade, etc.) derived from the water management information system (WAMIS) and the intelligent transportation systems-standard nodes link (ITS-SNL) showed that considerable increase by 17.1% in the fraction of urban areas (FUA) was found within the SMA in 2020. To identify the effects of the urban growth on the temperature and wind variations in the future, WRF simulations by considering urban growth were performed for two seasons (summer and winter) in 2020s (2018~2022) and they were compared with those in the present (2003~2007). Comparisons of model results showed that significant changes in surface temperature (2-meter) were found in an area with high urban growth. On average in model domain, positive increases of 0.31℃ and 0.10℃ were predicted during summer and winter, respectively. These were higher than contributions forced by climate changes. The changes in surface temperature, however, were very small expect for some areas. This results suggested that surface temperature in metropolitan areas like the SMA can be significantly increased only by the urban growth during several decades.
Two mufflers for a large-size sedan are suggested aiming (1) sporty-sound and (2) quiet-sound as well as both satisfying low back-pressure and low manufacturing cost. Transmission loss prediction considering heat and flow may increase the accuracy and reduce the development cost in muffler design; thus, GT-power prediction considering heat, flow, and acoustics is utilized. By understanding the fundamentals of flow-acoustic theory in small orifice(hole), an effective muffler design concept is proposed. Vehicle tests show the consistence with predictions for sound; also a back-pressure test bench confirms the advantage in pressure drop for both suggested mufflers. Those suggested mufflers also have advantages in manufacturing cost due to simplicity of the design.
This paper is to design a low cost GPS/DGPS receiver using GP2021 correlator. By modifying the existent GPS, the performance can be enhance than before. The H/W and S/W should be updated to have good result
Turbocharger is widely used in combustion engine systems due to its effectiveness of downsizing engine and increasing power, but it may cause noise problems. Thus, various types of resonators are applied to reduce such noise. Although the resonators are installed in the presence of mean flow, the effect of mean flow on the noise reduction has not been clearly understood. In addition, whistle noise can be generated due to the interaction between the flow and structure of the resonator. Thus this study experimentally investigates the effect of mean flow on the both acoustic performance of resonators and generation of whistle noise.
Electrical motor noise in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is in general expected that it has lower level in noise and vibration than conventional internal combustion engine does. In this paper, abnormal noise component, which may be annoying noise, of the traction motor occurred after an endurance vehicle test is investigated experimentally. The ±1 order of the number of slots is understood by a theoretical model, and the source of the abnormal noise is examined by cross-check investigation and is identified that it is caused by a failure of magnet fixing method. The improvement of the abnormal noise is confirmed by changing the fixing method from bond to mold.

본 논문의 목적은 논자가 개발한 도가철학에 근거한 인성교육프로그램의 실제를 제시하는 데 있다. <인성교육진흥법> 제2조에 의거하여 타인·공동체·자연과 더불어 살아가는 공존(共存, co-existence)의 세상을 인성교육의 도달처로 보고 도가철학에 근거한 인성교육프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다. 그 실제의 사례로 제시된 두 프로그램 가운데, <참 자기 실현을 위한 한 걸음>은 핵심 가치·덕목으로 상호연결성, 배려, 존중, 공동체 의식을 설정하였고, <공존감 레벨업>은 선행 연구를 통해 찾아낸 공존감, 환경공동체 의식을 핵심 가치·덕목으로 설정하였다. 두 프로그램 모두 중, 고등학생 2-30명을 대상으로 50분간 진행하도록 설계하였으며 교육의 지루함을 줄이고자 작은 활동 4-5개로 구성하여 내용에 변화를 주었다. 첫 번째 활동은 프로그램 전체의 인트로 역할을 담당하도록 하였다. 교육 대상자들이 지닐 수 있는 경직된 분위기를 완화시킬 수 있도록 5분 이내에 마칠 수 있으면서 전체 프로그램과의 유기적 연관성이 확보될 수 있는 작은 활동으로 구성하였다. 나머지 활동들 또한 이론적 근거를 확보한 후, 각 프로그램이 설정하고 있는 목표를 성취할 수 있도록 활동에 그대로 적용하거나 현대적으로 변용하여 구성하였다. The purpose of this paper is to depict the reality of character education programs based on Taoist philosophy. Considering Article 2 of the <CHARACTER EDUCATION PROMOTION ACT>, I wanted to develop a character education program based on Taoist philosophy, which is orientated the world of co-existence, living together with other people, in communities, and with nature. Among the two real programs presented, <A Step to Realize True Self> was developed by establishing interconnectedness, care, respect, and community consciousness as the core values and virtues, and <Level-up of Co-esteem> was developed by establishing a sense of co-esteem and environmental community consciousness as the core values and virtues. Both programs were designed to run for 50 minutes for 20-30 middle and high school students. and the contents of the program included 4-5 small activities to reduce the boredom of education. The first activity is an introduction to the whole program; it was constructed of small activities that can be completed in less than 5 minutes to ease the rigid atmosphere to secure organic associations with the entire program. The rest of the activities were also constructed by obtaining a theoretical basis, and they were applied as they were. However, for some activities, the basis has been modified according to the modern needs and then applied to the program to achieve the goals set by each program.
