본 연구는 현행 제6차 유치원교육과정에서 중점적으로 다루고 있는 유아의 감성계발 교육과 전통문화를 계승 발전시키기 위한 교육으로서 적합한 한국 민속춤을 교육현장에서 효율적으로 지도하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 유아교육현장에서 한국 민속춤을 지도하는 교사들을 대상으로 한국 민속춤에 대한 인식을 조사 하였고. 그에 따른 합리적인 지도방안을 모색하기 위하여 문헌연구와 심층면담의 방법으로 연구를 전행 하였다. 문헌연구로는 현재 유치원 교육에 있어서 한국 민속춤의 필요성에 대하여 논의하고, 제6차 유치원 교육과정에서 한국 민속춤 교육과 연관된 내용들을 분석하여 우리문화와 현실에 적합한 유아를 위한 한국 민속춤 교육이 이루어져야 하는 타당성을 도출하였다. 다음으로 심층면담을 통하여 유치원 교사들의 한국 민속춤 지도에 관한 인식을 조사하였으며 또한 한국 민속춤을 지도함에 있어 내용은 어떤 방향이 되어야 할 것인가에 대한 교사의 요구사항을 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 일선 교사들의 유치원 교육에서 필요한 한국 민속춤 내용에 대한 요구를 종합하고 실제 수업에 활용될 수 있는 한국 민속춤의 구체적인 내용을 제시해 본 결과 첫째, 기본 움직임 활동으로서 한국 민속춤의 내용과 둘째. 신체표현활동으로서의 한국 민속 춤의 내용 그리고 리듬활동으로서의 한국 민속춤에 관한 지도 내용0| 도출되었다. 이상에서 논의된 결과 한국 민속춤을 유치원 교육에서 보다 효율적으로 지도하기 위해 서는 교사가 자신 있게 유아들을 지도할 수 있는 쉽고 재미있으며 유치원 교육과정에 부합하는 내용으로서 한국 민속춤이 개발되고 지도되어져야 할 것이다. This dissertation seeks to settle Korean folk dance into the educational field systematically and qualitatively through searching for its application plan to the educational field of children. As a research method, this dissertation conducts the qualitative interview, nominating 4 kindergarten teachers, 4 physical fitness teachers of children, and 3 teachers who instruct students in the cultural center and the dance class of children as the purposeful sampling. As a result of the demand survey of teachers for Korean folk dance, Korean folk dance which is desirable to be included in university curriculum is creative gestures as ‘teachers’ opinion about Korean folk dance. The main reason why Korean folk dance isn’t practiced smoothly in the educational fields is the consciousness lack of teachers. The biggest percentage of teachers indicate that the reeducation through the study and training of leaders and teachers is essential for the smooth Korean folk dance education, and most of the teachers demand that the class should be practiced with completely charged and charged teachers as well. As an expected effect of ,Korean folk dance the most frequent response is that children acquire basic motions suitable for the activity development of childhood, and the formation of confidence is the most expected virtue. The research problem which is raised in this dissertation, that is what is the plan which can be applied to the educational field of children? can be concluded as the followings. The content application direction is composed of the application in accordance with living subjects, the application based on children’s development, the application followed by traditional cultural development, the application accompanied with emotion enlightenment, and the united application. The application direction of educational contents shows Korean folk dance by the activities of basic motions, physical expression, and rhythmic activities. As we can see above, Korean folk dance is the best education which cultivates the artistic possibility of children who have been brought up from the education of sensitivity enlightenment, and develops the aesthetic beauty of life, emotion cultivation, and creativity. Accordingly, Korean folk dance is essential for children’s education today and can be very useful as united education closely connected with other courses because children themselves feel interested by means of internalizing the learning process.
