        인간변화를 촉진하는 다섯 가지 조건에 관한 가설: 상담이론의 관점에서

        이 글은 기존 상담이론들이 인물별로 이해되는 상황과, 상담이론이 내담자의 ``변화과정``을 바탕으로 이해되어야 함에도 불구하고 지나치게 문제발생과정이나 원인을 중심으로 이해되는 상황을 극복하려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이를 위해 필자는 기존 이론들의 핵심명제를 요약한후, 그러한 이론들을 ``변화조건``을 중심으로 재구조화했다. 그 결과 진정성의 경험(Authenticity), 자기 타당화(Self validation), 패턴의 수정(Pattern change), 다양한 지식과 기술의 습득(Acquisition of knowledge and skills), 실존적 선택과 책임의 수용(Takingexistential position) 등 다섯 가지를 내담자의 변화를 촉진하는 조건으로 정리했다. 그리고 이러한 조건들의 의미, 관련된 기존 이론, 이러한 구성방식의 제한점 등을 논의하였다. The purpose of this paper was to explore the elements facilitating changes in counseling and psychotherapy. This paper assumed that the ultimate function of counseling is not to describe the problem formation process but to explain the change process of clients. The author reviewed many counseling and psychotherapy theories and hypothesized that the following five elements seemed to facilitate changes of clients in counseling and psychotherapy: Authentic experience, Self validation, Pattern change, Acquisition of knowledge and skills, and Taking existential position. The author explained the meaning and function of these elements in the relationship with traditional theories of counseling and psychotherapy.

        집단상담활동의 유형화 연구 -치료적 요인을 중심으로-

        The present study analyzed the nature of frequently used structured group exercises in terms of therapeutic factors. The analysis was conducted through the following three stages. First, thirty group counseling exercises were selected. In the second stage, the applicability of Kivlighan, Multon, and Brossart`s(1996) classification system of therapeutic factors was determined on the basis of empirical findings on group activities which reflect Korean social and cultural situation. Then, therapeutic factors specific to Korean group counseling was explored. In the final stage, thirty exercises were evaluated and classified into four cluster groups in terms of the therapeutic factors emerged from the analysis of the second stage. Thirty-six professional group counselors (26 males; 10 females) whose experiences as a group leader ranges from 5 to 28 years (M = 9.1; SD = 5.41) were asked to evaluate 30 selected exercises in terms of the five therapeutic factors placed on five-point Likert scale. Cluster analyses was used for data analysis and the following results were obtained: 1) Cluster 1 included structured group exercises that facilitated factor 1 (Positive and Accepting Climate ~ Establishing Trusting Relationships) and factor 3 (Involving in Group Process and Active Participation) strongly and factor 5 (Learning from Interaction with Others) only. 2) Ouster 2 included structured group exercises that strongly facilitate most therapeutic factors, specially, factor 4 (Confronting with Hidden Aspects of Emotion and Personality). 3) Ouster 3 included structured group exercises that are less effective than those in cluster 2. The cluster three exercises seem to facilitate factor 2 (Emotional Awareness and Insights of Problems) and 4 (Involving in Group Process and Active Participation) more than the duster two exercises did. 4) Ouster 4 included structured group exercises that strongly facilitated factor 1 (Positive and Accepting Climate - Establishing Trusting Relationships), factor 3 (Involving in Group Process and Active Participation), and factor 5 (Learning from Interaction with Others).

        아동 중기 남아의 애착유형별 분포 및 특성에 관한 연구

        Objective: Sex differences in attachment types are absent during early childhood, but emerge in middle childhood. Prior research has shown that boys classify as more often avoidant than ambivalent. The purpose of this study was to investigate marked sex differences in the distribution of attachment types in middle childhood, especially in boys. Methods: Attachment was assessed with the Separation Anxiety Test in a sample of 208 boys in Grades 3 and 4. Their socioeconomic backgrounds and developmental histories were also collected. Results: The distribution of attachment types was differed from those in early childhood, with insecure boys more often avoidant (31.3%) than ambivalent (7.2%). Insecure-avoidant boys were rated as over 10% compared the global distribution. Conclusion: These results supported the hypothesis of adrenarche in middle childhood. Boys may be changed to have more avoidant types in attachment.
