        The purpose is to provide the knowledge of the effect of principal's transactional and transformational leadership on teachers' organizational commitment. First, we'll look into the difference between transactional leadership and transformational leadership. Second, we'll examine the extent of teachers' organizational commitment. Third, we can search the relationship between those two leadership and the organizational commitment. Forth, we'll see the relationship varying the teachers and schools. The measure tool for this study is Kim, Chang-Geol's transactional and transformational leadership measure tool, which we adjusted to be proper for the study and the scale for organizational commitment is Porter(1974)'s OCR (Organizational Commitment Questionaire) that Kim, Chang-Geol has reformed and I adjusted it again for the study. SPSS 10.0 Package has been used for the arrangement of the data. The conclusion of the study is First, teachers recognize principal's transformational leadership highly concluded with the analysis of the difference between transactional leadership and transformational leadership. (t=8.457, p<.05) Second, we can see higher level of teacher's organizational commitment than the average. (M=3.33) The infra changes such as faithfulness, voluntary and acceptance of the common value also show the higher level. The groups according to Duncan's sort is well balanced, as the degree of teachers' organizational commitment has higher level than average. which is contributing the educational activities. Third, In the relationship of transactional and transformational leadership with teachers' organizational commitment, transactional leadership related with only its infra matter, contingency rewards, but transformational leadership was connected with all the infra matters and the organizational commitment, which shows that transformational leadership has more effect on organizational commitment than transactional leadership. Forth, The relationship between the organizational commitment and principal's leadership according to teachers and schools is as below. ① According to the gender of the teachers : the expectation for the result for the men(β=.455) and allowance to join the group for the women (β=.303) had much effect on the organizational commitment ② According to the status of the teachers : the expectation for the result for the general teachers (β=.165) and allowance to join the group for the director (β=.302) had much effect on the organizational commitment ③ According to the academic background of the teachers : the personal consideration for the college graduated (β=.595), the allowance to join the group for the university graduated (β=.216) and the expectation for the result for graduate school educated (β=.271) had much effect on the organizational commitment ④ According to the public and private institution : the expectation for the result for public school's teachers (β=.223) and allowance to join the group for the private school's teachers (β=.308) had much effect on the organizational commitment ⑤ According to the kinds of schools : the personal consideration for the primary school teachers (β=.279), the allowance to join the group for middle school teachers(β=.444) and the expectation for the result for the high school teachers(β=.314) had much effect on the organizational commitment. Now we can conclude that the principal should lead the teachers' organizational commitment with the transformational leadership at the same time he need to value the infra-matters properly according to the situation.

        시각장애인 안내 시스템을 위한 복수 초음파센서 동시 조사에 의한 장애물 검색

        For use in the guide system for the people who are visually impaired, an obstacle searching device using synchronous ultrasonic wave emission was proposed and developed. Generally, the conventional obstacle detection methods use the ultrasonic distance measuring device with successive scan method. However, the scan method causes a theoretical error and it couldn't estimate accurate obstacle distances. The proposed synchronous firing method use the plural number of ultrasonic sensors which emit ultrasonic wave simultaneously and estimate the distance to the closest obstacle relatively accurately. We analytically analyzed the errors of the conventional and proposed methods and compared the quantitative differences of the errors. The differences verified by obstacle search experiments. Using the proposed ultrasonic wave synchronous firing method, 3 dimensional obstacle location estimating device was designed and implemented. The results of the 3 dimensional obstacle detecting experiments showed the proposed method had good performances and it would be sufficiently use in the guide system for the people who are visually impaired.

        휠체어 사용자를 위한 통합형 컴퓨터 입력장치의 개발

        This paper reports a noble instrument that helps physically disabled people to access computers. There have been numerous attempts to develop such a methodology, but most of them require an additional space for workstation often including access program installation. The additional space also needs to be carefully designed to consider each specific disabled area. This study aims to develop a system that removes the spacial limitation by putting the integrated computer interface using the wheelchair controller. The implementation of the computer workstation is performed by utilizing an USB interface. The developed equipment will take an important role to support various social lives for the users and eventually to improve their quality of life.

        This study is an empirical attempt to investigate the relationship between the organizational culture and teacher's organizational commitment in school. Therefore the purpose of this study is examine the relationship among and between the organizational culture, teachers' organizational commitment, and their subvariables. The specific objects of this research are ①to examine the degrees of the organizational culture, and teachers' organizational commitment ②to examine the differences of the levels of the teachers' organizational commitment variables according to the levels of the organizational culture variables and ③to inquire into the difference between and among all variables according to school and personal characteristics. In order to accomplish the above objects, four subvariables have been identified on the basis of a survey of the literature concerned. The subvariables of the organizational culture consist of intrinsic culture and extrinsic culture. The subvariables of teacher's organizational commitment consist of value commitment and continual commitment. The subjects were 450 school teachers randomly sampled throughout Inchon and Buchon. Data collected were analyzed by the correlation t- or F-test, specipicully following the procedures proposed in SPSS Inha University Computer Center. From this analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn. 1) The higher levels of organizational culture and the teacher's organizational commitment have been hardly strong enough for the teachers' preception and recognition. 2) The relationship between the organizational culture and the teacher's organizational commitment have revealed that the teacher group perceived with higher levels of the organizational culture variables had higher cognitions of their organizational commitment variables, while the teacher perceived with lower or intermediate levels of the organizational culture variables had lower or intermediate cognitions of their organizational commitment variables to that. extent. 3) The significant differences have been exposed on the relationships between and among the variables of the organizational culture and the teacher's organizational commitment in the distinctions of school foundation and career, but haven't been exposed in the distinctions of sex and school levels.

        학교조직에서 교원의 갈등원인과 해소방법분석 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the causes, levels and resolutions of the teachers' conflict in secondary school organizations. In order to clarify the causes, the levels and the resolutions of teachers' conflict, it has been to assume the cause fields and resolution methods of conflict to be experienced by teachers' job performance on the basis of theoretical study. On the basis of the theoretical study, questionnaires have been made, these were distributed to 500 teachers in secondary school. The collected data were processed for analysis in accordance with SPSS. The technical procedures actually applied were means, standard diviation, and Z-test or F-test. The conclusions of this study are as follows. Firstly, teachers have experienced highly conflict among all the fields concerned on job duty. Especially teachers have experienced highly conflict in paper work and evaluation office, guidance and counselling, and working conditions and treatment improve fields. Secondary, all the conflict fields have shown statistically significant differences in both school and teacher features. Especially the teachers in city region have experienced higher conflict on the working conditions and treatment improve, decision-making, and communications fields than the teachers in local region, and private school teachers have experienced higher conflict on the working conditions and treatment improve, decision-working communications, and interpersonal relations fields than public school teachers, and male teachers have experienced higher conflict on all the fields than female teachers. In age feature, the newly appointed teachers have experienced higher conflict all the fields than the mainstray teachers, and the mainstray teachers have experienced higher conflict than the senior teachers. In major study feature, the teachers of natural science field have experienced higher conflict on all the fields than the art and physical course, and the teachers of the art and physical course have experienced higher conflict on all the fields than the teachers of humanities and social science course. Thirdly, teachers have mainly utilized the method of collaborating style, persuading style and compromising style to resolve all the conflict fields.

        이동에 장애가 있거나 특별한 중재를 요구하는 장애아동의 교육에 로봇을 이용하여 원거리의 사람과 상호작용을 하거나 전문가의 지원을 받을 수 있는 시스템을 활용한다면 그들은 공간의 제약에서 벗어나 전문적인 지원을 빠르게 받을 수 있을 것이다. 또한 로봇 원격지원 시스템 구축에 있어서 특수교육 분야의 전문가들의 의견이 반영된다면 훨씬 효과적인 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 특수교육 전문가들을 대상으로 델파이 기법을 사용하여 이러한 로봇원격지원 시스템이 활용 가능한 특수교육 분야와 조사된 각각의 분야에 필요한 기능에 대하여 알아보고 이를 통하여 특수교육분야에 있어 보다 효율적인 로봇 원격지원시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 조사 결과 원격지원이 가능한 로봇시스템은 장애아동 학습을 위한 콘텐츠 제공, 행동 관찰을 통한 진단, 시각장애 아동의 보행훈련, 장애 아동 모니터링, 자폐성 아동 상호작용 분야에서 충분히 활용 가능할 것으로 예측 되었다. 또한 본 연구에서 얻어진 결론을 종합하여 보면 특수교육 분야에 활용 가능한 로봇 시스템은 범용 시스템 보다는 목적에 맞게 필요한 기능만을 탑재한 맞 춤형 로봇 시스템이 적합함을 알 수 있다. Using the system that can interact with remote person or get support from experts by using a robot to educate children with disabilities who have a problem with mobility or need special intervention, it seems that they can receive professional support promptly without any spatial constrains. In addition, when opinions of experts in special education field are reflected in the establishment of the robot remote support system, more effective system can be established. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the special education fields available to such remote support system and necessary functions for each researched field by using Delphi method, and to propose more effective robot remote support system in special education field. As a result, it was expected that the robot remote support system can be applied to several special education areas such as content supply for children with disabilities, diagnosis from behavior observation, orientation and mobility training for children with visual impairment, monitoring of children with disabilities and interaction of autistic children. In addition, to summarize the conclusions of this study, it has shown that the customized robot system equipped with only necessary functions in accordance with the purpose will be more appropriate than the general-purpose system as the robot system available to special education areas.

        학교장의 지도성과 의사결정의 질(質) 결정요인과의 관계연구

        This study is an empirical attempt to investigate the relation between principal's leadership and quality factor of decision making in the elementary school. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among the principal's leadership, quality factor of decision making and sub-variables. The specipic object of this research are (1) to investigate the relationship between or among variables identified in this study, (2) to examine the infuences of these variables on one another, and vice versa. In order to accomplish the subjects, five sub-variables has been identified on the basis of subvey of the literlature concerned. The sub-variables of transactional leadership and transformational leadership to say quality factor of decision making involves these derterminents, namely decision maker, participation of members and communication. On the basis of theoritical background, two research problems have been formulated for this research purpose. Research Problem I. There can be positive significant correlations among principal's leadership, quality factor of decision making and sub-variables with one another. Research Problem Ⅱ. The leadership variables can have different influences on the sub-variables quarity factor decision making. From the analysis through statistical procedures, the following conclusions can be drawn. 1) All the sub-variables studies show positive significant correlations. This demonstrates that principal's leader variables are influential to quality factor of decision making variables. 2) In the case of influences of principal's leadership variables quality factor of decision making variables, transformational leadership is shown to be more influential to such quality factor variables as decision maker, participation of members, communication than transactional leadership.
