Considering the run-out effect and cutting force coefficients, the cutting force profile of half immersion end-milling was analyzed in detail. The effects of three specific cutting-force coefficients and three edge-force coefficients are verified. Through a detailed investigation, it is proved that the radial cutting force coefficients and are the major factors which increase the cutting forces Fx and Fy in end-milling. However, the axial cutting force coefficients have no influence on the force Fx and Fy changes in end-milling. Also, the analyzed end-milling force model shows good consistency with the actual measured force with regard to Fx and Fy. Thus, this model can be used for the prediction of the force history in end-milling with run-out,and it incurs a different force history with different start and exit immersion angles as well as holding effects.

The direct and indirect PFBEM(power flow boundary element method) for the treatment of the 3 dimensional multi-domain problems are proposed to predict the acoustic energy density in medium to high frequency ranges. In the proposed method, the equation is derived in a matrix form by considering coupled relationships of the power flow at the interface of given domains. The proposed method can successfully obtain the analytical solutions for the problems of coupled cubes and the small-scale reverberant chamber. Then the experiment is carried out to obtain STL(sound transmission loss) by using small-scale reverberant chamber and the results are compared with analysis results.

Underwater radiated noises from marine vehicles are mostly due to the propulsion systems. Recently, the propeller noise problems are becoming crucial issues in terms of habitability of passenger ships. Especially in military area, propeller noise is directly related to the survivability of submarines and warships, and thus propeller noise analysis and reductions are very important. Generally, propeller noise can be classified into non-cavitating noise and cavitating noise which is dominant. In this paper the methodology of propeller noise analysis is announced and new approach to consider scattering effect is proposed. Unsteady blade surface pressure and sheet cavity volume analyzed with potential based panel method are used as noise source.

Because the pure titanium has superior corrosion resistance and formability compared with different material, it is widely used as material of welded heat exchanger. When the welding of heat exchanger is carried out, certain area in which welding start and end are overlapped occurs. The humping of back bead is formed in the overlap area due to partial penetration. Thus in this study, the experiments were carried out by changing the length and wave shape of overlap area, and then the weldabiliay was evaluated through the observation of microstructure, the measurement of hardness and tensile-shear strength test in the overlap area. When overlap length was 9.8mm, humping bead was suppressed. The microstructure of overlap area coarsened and its hardness increased due to remelting. As a result of tensile-shear strength test in the overlap area according to applying the wave shape control, it was confirmed that the overlap area applied wave shape control had more excellent yield strength and ductility.

Generally, we can classify the dialects of Saudi Arabia, according to their regional features, into Hijaz, Najdi and Sharqi. This paper aims at studying on Hijaz modern Arabic dialect of Saudi Arabia and the effective method of learning it, which is spoken in Taif, Jeddah and Mecca and Medina. Hijaz dialect is not pure saudi dialect because this dialect reflects linguistic features of other dialects due to geographical closeness, especially Jordanian, Palestinian and Egyptian dialects. Unfortunately, the researcher came to know through several field surveys that Arabian linguists take not much in the dialect studies. This is why Koran, the Bible of Islam, plays an important part in their speech and behaviour. At the same time, the researcher came to know that they also speak in their dialects despite indifference for dialect studies.<BR> The first & second chapters emphasized the importance of and Saudi Arabia and survey and method of Hijaz dialect. The third chapter, as a subject of this study, presented the linguistic features of Hijaz Dialect in the aspects of the phonological system, system of word-form and syntactic system.
