The effects of immersion time in the liquid nitrogen on the behavior of aluminum alloys used for the hydrogen storage tank of auto-mobile at cryogenic temperature were investigated. With increasing immersion time in the liquid nitrogen, the elongation of AI 5083 alloy at cryogenic temperature decreased because of non-uniform fracture of precipitates on the grain boundary, and the serration also occurred because of discontinuous slip due to rapid decreasing of the specific heat. The mechanical properties of AI 6061 alloy at cryogenic temperature were characterized by uniformed yield strength, tensile strength and elongation regardless of the immersion time in the liquid nitrogen. These mechanical properties of aluminum alloys at cryogenic temperature were interpreted by the strength of grain boundary and the slip deformation behavior.
전해수를 이용한 들깻잎 중 Salmonella Typhimurium과 Staphylococcus aureus의 저감화 효과 분석

본 연구는 들깻잎에 존재하는 Salmonella Typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus에 대한 전해수의 저감효과를 분석하고 전해수로의 유기물의 유입과 들깻잎과 전해수의 비율이 전해수의 효과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 수행하였다. 들깻잎에 S. Typhimurium과 S. aureus을 7.0 log10CFU/g 정도로 접종 한 후 25, 50, 75, 100 ppm에서 1, 3, 5분 동안 각각 처리하여 시간과 농도에 따른 전해수 효과를 분석하였다. 또한 유기물이 전해수의 효과에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 전해수에 첨가한 유기물 농도는 150, 300, 450, 600 μg/L 수준이었고, 들깻잎과 전해수의 처리비율은 1:10, 1:25, 1:50이었다. 그 결과, S. Typhimurium과 S. aureus 모두 유효 염소 농도가 증가할수록 미생물 저감효과도 높아지는 경향을 보였으며(p<0.05) 두 균주 모두 100 ppm 처리에서 25 ppm 처리에서 보다 전해수의 저감효과가 약 0.7 log10CFU/g 정도 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 하지만 처리 시간에 따른 효과는 없었다 (p>0.05). 또한 전해수 중 유기물 함량이 증가할수록 S. Typhimurium과 S. aureus의 제어효과는 감소하였다(p<0.05). 유기물 600 μg/L 첨가시 유기물 첨가를 하지 않았을 때에 비하여 S. Typhimurium은 1.10 log<SUB>10</SUB>CFU/g, S. aureus는 0.8 log10CFU/g의 전해수 효과가 감소하였다. 들깻잎과 전해수의 처리비율은 1:10으로 처리하였을 때 미생물 저감효과는 S. Typhimurium 0.57 log10CFU/g, S. aureus 0.79 log10CFU/g로 전해수에 의한 미생물저감 효과를 기대하기 어려웠다. 따라서 들깻잎에서 S. Typhimurium과 S.aureus의 효과적인 제어를 위해서는 전해수 처리전에 물 세척을 통하여 흙과 먼지를 제거하고 전해수 농도 100 ppm에서 1분 이상 처리해야한다. 또한 들깻잎과 전해수 비율은 1:25 이상 유지 하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다. This study was conducted to evaluate the bactericidal activity of weakly alkalic electrolyzed water (WEW)against Salmonella Typhimurium and Staphylococcus aureus on perilla leaves. The influences of organic matter, inform of bovine serum, and the ratio of WEW to perilla leaves on bactericidal activity of WEW were also examined. Treatment of these organisms with 25, 50, 75, and 100 ppm WEW was performed for 1 min, 3 min and 5 min, respectively. Higher bactericidal activity was observed after a treatment with 100 ppm WEW compared to a treatment with 25 ppm WEW by 0.7 log<SUB>10</SUB>CFU/g. The bactericidal activity of WEW also decreased with increasing bovine serum concentration. At the ratio of 10:1 (WEW: perilla leave), levels of Salmonella Typhimurium and Staphylococcus aureus were only reduced by 0.57 and 0.79 log10CFU/g, respectively. It is suggested that the removal of organic debris prior to application of sanitizers and treatment above the ratio of 25:1 (WEW: perilla leave) is needed in order to improve WEW activity.

RF sputtering process was applied to produce thin hydroxyapatite(HAp) films on Ti-6Al-4V alloy substrates. The effects of different heat treatment conditions on the chemical composites between HAp thin films and Ti-6Al-4V alloy substrates were studied. After deposition, the HAp thin films were heat treated for 1h at $400^{\circ}C,\;600^{\circ}C\;and\;800^{\circ}C$ under the atmosphere, and analyzed O/M, FESEM-EDX and ESCA, respectively. Experimental results represented that interface of HAp thin films and Ti-6Al-4V alloy substrates was composed Ti-OH, TiO, TiN, $Al_2O_3,\;V_2O_3,\;VO_2$. pyrophosphate and decreased carbide followed by the increase of heat treatment temperature.

This paper introduces a face driving mechanism of wheel-base mobile robot, Silbot Ⅱ, which is developed for English education. In the design of the robot face, two important points should be considered: one is that Silbot Ⅱ shows a cute and friendly image because it deals with children or old persons, and the other is that it should have a compact and light structure. For the former, Silbot Ⅱ was designed to have a spherical hard-skin face with big eyes and small lips. But, such a design results in making the compact mechanism difficult. In this paper, a face mechanism of Silbot Ⅱ is proposed, which is compact and modularized so as to avoid the interference inside and to facilitate the repair or maintenance. Silbot Ⅱ is currently playing an active part in teaching English to old persons in Masan Senior Welfare Center.

The effects of immersion time in the liquid nitrogen and deformation-induced martensitic transformation on the behavior of austenite stainless steels used for the hydrogen storage tank of auto-mobile at cryogenic temperature were investigated. With increasing of immersion time in the liquid nitrogen, the tensile strength of all austenite stainless steels at cryogenic temperature was increased because the martensite transformation of unstable austenite. The restraint of crack generation ana transmission also increased the tensile strength by the active ${\alpha}'$ transformation. The elongation decreasing of 321 steel is not the mechanical deformation of austenite phase but the stress induced martensite phase during the tensile test.
직사각형 단면을 갖는 미세채널에서 완전 발달된 다층유동에 관한 해석

An analytical solution for a vertically stratified viscous flow in a microchannel with a rectangular cross-section is constructed, assuming fully developed laminar flow where the interfaces between the fluid layers are flat. Although the solution is for n-layer flow, restricted results to symmetrical three-layer flow are presented to investigate the effects of the viscosity and thickness ratios of the fluid layers and the aspect ratio of the microchannel on the flow field. Relations between the flow rate and thickness ratios of the fluid layers with varying viscosity distributions are found, considering the cross -sectional velocity profiles which vary noticeably with the three parameters and differ significantly from the velocity profiles of the flow between infinite parallel plates. Interfacial instability induced by the viscosity stratification in the microchannel is discussed referring to previous studies on the instability analysis for plane multilayer flow. Exact solution derived in the present study can be used for examining a diffusion process and three -dimensional stability analysis. More works are needed to formulate the equations including the effects of interfacial' tension between immiscible liquids and surface wettability which are important in microscale transport phenomena.
미세먼지 위험지각이 국립공원 탐방객의 친환경 관광행동에 미치는 영향 - 확장된 계획행동이론을 적용 -

전 세계적으로 미세먼지에 대한 문제가 심각하게 부각되고 있다. 관광목적지의 날씨는 관광을 결정하는 중요한 요인이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미세먼지 위험지각이 친환경 관광행동 의도에 미치는 영향관계를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 계획행동이론에 미세먼지 위험지각을 확장하여 친환경관광활동의 의사결정과정을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 미세먼지 위험 지각은 친환경태도, 친환경 주관적 규범, 친환경 지각된 행동 통제에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 친환경태도, 친환경 주관적 규범, 친환경 지각된 행동 통제는 친환경 관광행동 의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 미세먼지의 위험지각은 친환경 관광활동을 유도하는데 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 시사한다. The problem of particulate matter has been seriously emerging around the world. The weather of a destination is an important factor in selecting a tourism destination. Therefore, the aim of study is to verify the effect of perceived risk of particulate matter on eco-friendly tourist behaviors. This study examined the eco-friendly tourist behaviors by perceived risk of particulate matter based on theory of planned behavior. As a results, its was revelaed that perceived risk of particulate matter had a significant influence on eco-friendly attitude, eco-friendly subjective norm, and eco-friendly perceived behavioral controls. AT had a significant influence on behavior intention and Subjective norm had a significant influence on behavior intention. Lastly, Perceived behavioral controls had a significant influence on behavior intention The results of this research show that perceived risk of particulate matter plays an important role in inducing eco-friendly tourism activities.
에폭시 피복철근 현장적용을 위한 품질 기준 및 시공품질관리 개선에 관한 연구

에폭시 피복철근은 해양 및 가혹한 환경에서 철근방식 성능이 우수하여 내구수명을 연장하는 것이 가능함이 입증되어 미국 및 일본등의 선진국에서는 에폭시 피복철근의 사용이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 국내는 연구개발 부족, 낙후된 생산설비, 품질불량, 초기비용 증가, 현장 취급 및 관리 어려움등의 이유 때문에 아주 제한적으로 사용하고 있다. 이 연구는 최근에 개선된 제조공장에서 생산된 에폭시 피복철근의 관련 시험에 의해 증명된 제품의 시험시공을 통하여 현장 적용을 위한 제조, 운반 및 시공등의 시공품질관리의 개선방안을 제안하였다. The Epoxy-coated Reinforcing bars have been proved to be able to extend a durability life because of its excellent corrosion resistance in bridges and structures under marine and severe environments. The usage of epoxy-coated reinforcement is continuously increasing in developed countries such as the US and Japan. However, domestic use is extremely limited due to lack of research and development, poor production facilities, low quality, increase of initial costs, and difficulty of field management. This study suggests the improvement of construction quality management such as manufacturing, transportation and construction for the field application through the test construction of the proven product in the related test results of the epoxy coated steel bars produced in the recently improved manufacturing facility.
