        중환자실 간호사의 환자안전간호활동 영향요인

        Purpose : The purposes of this study were to examine the levels of job stress, perceptions of the patient safety culture, and patient safety nursing activities, and to identify factors influencing patient safety nursing activities among intensive care unit (ICU) nurses. Methods : For this cross-sectional study, data were collected from 161 ICU nurses working in two university-affiliated hospitals in Gyeonggi-do between June 30 and July 30, 2020. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, the Pearson correlation method, and multiple regression using the SPSS program. Results : The average levels of job stress, perception of patient safety culture, and patient safety nursing activities were 3.48, 3.44, and 4.45 out of 5, respectively. Multiple regression showed that perception of patient safety culture and career in current workplace were found to be statistically significant correlates of patient safety nursing activities. Conclusion : In order to promote patient safety nursing activities, patient safety culture needs to be incorporated into the education of ICU nurses. Perception of patient safety should be enhanced to improve patients safety nursing activity.

        국내 수의과대학생의 스트레스 경험 연구

        The quality of a veterinary service depends on the veterinarian's physical and mental health. However, a veterinarian's mental health is generally considered to be more vulnerable than that of other health care professionals. As many veterinary students will enter the veterinary profession in near future, it is necessary to investigate their psychological status. This study examined stressors affecting student life in one veterinary school. Anxiety, depression, and stress levels were assessed using questionnaires and qualitative research techniques. The results obtained from questionnaires showed that the proportion of veterinary students with psychological distress was higher than expected. The major stressors experienced by the veterinary students were academic, economic, and environmental. Qualitative study using a photovoice method revealed that the students in this study felt relatively deprived compared with those in other veterinary schools. In addition, they were distressed by the school environment and limited human relationship. Our results suggest that veterinary school administrators should be aware of students' psychological distress and should undertake systematic improvement in their educational system by altering counseling programs, curricula, and school culture principles.

        프로 골프선수의 TPI Level 1 Test Score에 따른 경기력 수준 분석

        Purpose : 본 연구는 TPI Level 1 test와 KPGA 프로 골프선수의 경기력간 상관관계를 분석하여 선수들의 경기력 향상에 근거가 되는 데이터를 찾고자 하는데 목적이 있다. Methods : 2019년 KPGA 골프 선수 30명을 대상으로 하였고, TPI Level 1 test를 실시하였다. 경기력은 KPGA 홈페이지에 있는 선수들의 집계된 공식 기록에 의해 TPI Level 1 test와 비교하였으며, 경기력에는 가장 의미 있는 상금순위, 평균타수, 페어웨이 안착률, 평균퍼트수로 정하였다. 또, 선수들의 누적된 기록 평균값을 구하기 위해 2019년 3월 첫 경기 부터 경기가 종료된 10월까지로 하였다. Results : 상금 순위는 TPI level 1 test 상위그룹 63±51.77위, 하위그룹 113.92±68.79위를 보였으며, 상위그룹이 유의하게 더 높았다 (p<0.05). 평균 드라이브 거리는 상위 그룹 286.15±10.06 yd, 하위그룹은 277.39±8.49 yd로 상위 그룹이 유의하게 더 높았다 (p<0.05). 또한 평균 퍼트수는 상위 그룹 1.81±0.02, 하위그룹 1.85±0.04로 유의한 차이를 보였다. Conclusion : 결론적으로 TPI level 1 test 점수가 상위그룹일수록 경기력에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 가능성이 더 크기 때문에 평소 경기력 향상을 위한 프로그램을 구성할 때 TPI level 1 test에 기반한 훈련 프로그램을 설정하는 것이 필요할 것이다.

        반사방지 특성을 통일시킨 실리콘 질화막 간의 패시베이션 특성 비교

        Silicon nitride ($SiN_x:H$) films made by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) are generally used as antireflection layers and passivation layers on solar cells. In this study, we investigated the properties of silicon nitride ($SiN_x:H$) films made by PECVD. The passivation properties of $SiN_x:H$ are focused on by making the antireflection properties identical. To make equivalent optical properties of silicon nitride films, the refractive index and thickness of the films are fixed at 2.0 and 90 nm, respectively. This limit makes it easier to evaluate silicon nitride film as a passivation layer in realistic application situations. Next, the effects of the mixture ratio of the process gases with silane ($SiH_4$) and ammonia ($NH_3$) on the passivation qualities of silicon nitride film are evaluated. The absorption coefficient of each film was evaluated by spectrometric ellipsometry, the minority carrier lifetimes were evaluated by quasi-steady-state photo-conductance (QSSPC) measurement. The optical properties were obtained using a UV-visible spectrophotometer. The interface properties were determined by capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurement and the film components were identified by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy detection (RBS) - elastic recoil detection (ERD). In hydrogen passivation, gas ratios of 1:1 and 1:3 show the best surface passivation property among the samples.

        Mathematical model development, experimental validation and design parameter study of a folded two-degree-of-freedom piezoelectric vibration energy harvester

        A folded two-degree-of-freedom piezoelectric vibration energy harvester has been proposed by several researchers including the authors. It is characterized by the reversal of the modal sequence, which enhances the electrical output power near a target operating frequency with very little eigenfrequency separation. However, no appropriate mathematical models have yet been developed, though a well-developed one would clarify the physical behaviors and allow efficient investigations of the effects of design parameters. In this work, a rigorous mathematical model based on the continuous Euler–Bernoulli beam theory is proposed for the first time. It is validated by both a finite element analysis and by experimental measurements. The validated mathematical model is then employed for a design parameter study with four design parameters, in this case the length of each component beam and the magnitude of each proof mass. For certain selected cases from the design parameter study sets, prototypes are fabricated and their performances are measured for verification of the design parameter study. Some useful observations are also drawn from the design parameter study for the design of a high-performance folded two-degree-of-freedom piezoelectric vibration energy harvester. Through all of the results presented in this work, it is shown that the proposed mathematical model will serve as an effective tool for the analysis and design of a folded two-degree-of-freedom piezoelectric vibration energy harvester.

        Organophosphorus insecticides induce different clinical manifestations varying according to the different side groups attached to the phosphate, their rates of degradation, and their fat solubilities. In consequence of this variation, specific treatments are required for particular organophosphorus insecticides. We report a unusual case of intoxication with dimethyl organophosphorus insecticide in a 26-year-old woman. She manifested atypical and ultimately fatal symptoms including profound shock, refractory hyperglycemia, and hypothermia.
