        불로 구기 부위별 자유라디칼 소거효과에 관한 연구

        Free radical-scavenging activities of Korean Bulro Kugi (Lycium chinense Mill) fruit, leaf, and root were evaluated. Total phenolic contents of fruit, leaf, and root were $1,078.4{\pm}61.0$, $939.9{\pm}19.8$, and $3,792.2{\pm}106.6mg/L$, and their flavonoids were $396.7{\pm}15.2$, $1,952.9{\pm}21.3$, and $425.3{\pm}13.5mg/L$, respectively (p<0.001). HPLC revealed main polyphenolic compounds in fruit were p-coumaric and syringic acids in fruit, p-coumaric, syringic, and procatechuic acids in leaf, and p-coumaric, syringic, caffeic, and procatechuic acids in root. Highest radical-scavenging activities of superoxide anion and hydroxyl were found in leaf and root, respectively (p<0.001). 불로 구기의 부위별 열매, 잎, 뿌리의 라디칼 소거 효과를 연구하였다 총 페놀함량은 불로 구기열매, 잎, 뿌리에서 각각 $1,078.4{\pm}61.0mg/L$, $939.9{\pm}19.8mg/L$, and $3,792.2{\pm}106.6mg/L$의 함량은 나타내었으며 총 플라보노이드 함량은 구기열매, 잎, 뿌리에서 각각 $396.7{\pm}15.2$, $1,952.9{\pm}21.3$, and $425.3{\pm}13.5mg/L$의 함량을 나타내었다(p<0.001) 열매에서는 p-coumaric acid 0.018 mg/100g, syringic acid 0.006 mg/100g이 검출되었고, 잎에서는 p-coumaric acid 0.068 mg/100g, syringic acid 0.064 mg/100 mg, procatechuic acid 0.05 mg/100 mg이 검출되었다. 뿌리에는 p-coumaric acid 0.178 mg/100 mg, syringic acid 0.046 mg/100 mg, caffeic acid 0.043 mg/100 g과 procatechuic acid 0.022 mg/100 mg이 검출되었다. 불로구기의 주요 폴리페놀 성분들은 p-coumaric acid과 syringic acid이었으며 잎에서는 열매에서 확인되지 않은 caffeic acid가 뿌리에서는 caffeic acid procatechuic acid 성분이 함유되어 있었다. 총 폴리페놀 함량은 뿌리 0.29 mg/100 g, 잎 0.18 mg/100 g, 열매 0.03 mg/100 g의 순으로 뿌리에 가장 많이 함유되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 불로 구기의 부위별 superoxide anion radical 소거능력은 잎, 뿌리, 구기열매가 각각 $60{\pm}0.1%$, $47.7{\pm}0.1%$, $21.6{\pm}0.1%$의 순으로 잎에서 가 장 높은 소거효과가 나타났으며, hydroxyl radical 소거능력은 superoxide anion radical 소거능력에 비해 효과가 약하나 뿌리에서 $34.6{\pm}0.1%$로 높은 소거효과를 나타내었다(p<0.001).

        마찰접합 된 A6063 합금의 미세조직과 기계적 특성 평가

        This study was carried out to evaluate the developed microstructures and mechanical properties of friction welded A6063 alloy. For this work, specimens were prepared at a size of 12 mm ${\O}{\times}80mm$, and friction welding was carried out at a rotation speed of 2,000 RPM, friction pressure of $12kgf/cm^2$ and upset pressure of $25kgf/cm^2$. To perform an analysis of the grain boundary characteristic distributions, such as the grain size, orientation and misorientation angle distributions, the electron back-scattering diffraction method was used. In addition, in order to identify the dispersed intermetallic compounds of the base and welded materials, transmission electron microscopy was used. The experimental results found that the application of friction welding on A6063 led to significant grain refinement of the welded zone relative to that of the base material. Besides this, intermetallic compounds such as AlMnSi and $Al_2Cu$ were found to be dispersed with more refined size relative to that of the base material. This formation retains the mechanical properties of the welds, which results in the fracture aspect at the base material zone. Therefore, based on the developed microstructures and mechanical properties, the application of friction welding on A6063 could be used to obtain a sound weld zone.

        수중 초음파를 이용한 적조 플랑크톤의 후방산란 특성

        수중 초음파 (5, 10, 15 MHz)를 사용하여 적조 플랑크톤 Cochlodinium polykrikoides (식물 플랑크톤, 편모조류)의 후방산란 특성을 파악하기 위한 음향 실험을 실시하였다 적조 산란체의 적조주의보 (300 cells/a) 보다 적은 양의 개체 수 변화를 탐지하였고, 개체군 밀도와 후방 산란신호와의 상관관계를 시간영역에서와 주파수 영역에서 확인하였다. 또한, fluid-sphere model[1]을 이용한 이론적인 체적 산란강도를 계산하여 실측 체적 산란강도와 비교한 결과가 잘 일치하였다. Laboratory measurements were performed in a uni-algae medium Cochlodinium polykrikoides (Phytoplankton, dinoflagellates) using an Underwater Ultrasound $(5\~15\;MHz)$ to study Characteristics of Acoustic Backscattering of Harmful algae. In an effort to detect the harmful algal scatterers with population density of less than 300 cells/ml that corresponds to the precaution stage of red tide, backscattered signals from various scatterer-density samples were obtained and analyzed. Correlations between volume backscattering strength (Sv) and population density (cells/ml) of scatterers in the medium have been investigated. Comparison of Volume Backscattering Strengths calculated with the fluid-sphere model [1] and the measured values showed an agreement.

        Lean six sigma는 six sigma에 lean 개념을 접목시켜, 부가가치를 창출하지 못하는 프로세스 단계를 먼저 제거하여 프로세스 속도나 사이클 타임을 향상시키는 프로세스개선 방법론을 의미한다. Six sigma의 최우선 목표가 품질 개선이라면 lean은 생산 공정의 낭비제거에 초점이 맞춰져 있다. 그러나 quality와 함께 speed, cost를 고려하지 않는다면 프로세스의 속도나 투자자본의 감소를 개선하기 어려울 것이다. Lean six sigma는 lean의 속도와 six sigma의 무결점, 이 두 가지에 집중하여 원치 않는 복잡성을 제거하고 고객에게 집중하고 무결점 서비스를 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 우편물류에 lean six sigma를 적용한 프로세스 개선 방법론을 제시한다.

        항암화학요법 유발 말초신경병증에 대한 한약의 치료 효과: 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타 분석

        Objective: This study was aimed to report the therapeutic effects of herbal medicine on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). Methods: The prior studies were searched from the databases included PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, CNKi, CiNii, KISS, NDSL, KMBASE, and OASIS until September 2020. The main search keywords were chemotherapy, peripheral neuropathy, and herbal medicine, and only randomized controlled trials that analyzed the therapeutic efficacy of herbal medicine were included. The Cochrane's Risk of Bias was used for assessment of the risk of bias and the Review Manager 5.3 program was used for meta-analysis. Meta-analyses were grouped by the administration routes of herbal medicines (oral administration or topical use). Results: Nine studies with a total of 563 participants were included. Compared with usual care, the effective rate was higher in oral administrated herbal medicine (RR 1.67, 95% CI 1.25 to 2.23; p<0.001, I2=31%). In addition, topical herbal medicine showed an significantly higher effective rate than placebo (RR 2.20, 95% CI 1.52 to 3.18; p<0.001, I2=0%) and usual care (RR 2.24, 95% CI 1.74 to 2.89; p<0.001, I2=66%). There was no severe adverse effect in all participants. Conclusions: Herbal medicine appears to improve neuropathy caused by chemotherapy in cancer patients more than conventional therapy of CIPN. However, as there is heterogeneity between the included studies and a lack of blinding, further well-designed researches are more needed.

        청소년이 지각한 사회적 자본이 유데모니아에 미치는 영향: 인권의식을 매개로

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of human rights consciousness on the relationship between social capital and eudaimonia perceived by adolescents. Methods: The participants of this study were 9,021 adolescents, with data taken from the 6<sup>th</sup> year(2018) panel survey. All variables were evaluated by self-report of adolescents. The data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results: First, social capital perceived by adolescents had a direct effect on eudaimonia. Second, social capital perceived by adolescents had an indirect effect on the eudaimonia through human rights consciousness. Conclusions: This study highlighted that human rights consciousness was identified as important mediator in the relationship between capital perceived by adolescents and eudaimonia. These results can be used as an important contribution to further research and educational practices for promoting the eudaimonia in adolescents.

        전이 췌장암 환자의 Gemcitabine과 방암탕 가감방 및 건칠단 병용투여 치험 1례

        Objectives: This study was aimed to report a patient with metastatic pancreatic cancer treated with modified Bangam-tang and Gunchil-dan in conjunction with gemcitabine. There were better survival-related outcomes compared to gemcitabine alone. Methods: The patient with metastatic pancreatic cancer received gemcitabine as palliative chemotherapy since June 2016 concurrent with modified Bangam-tang and Gunchil-dan since October 2016 to October 2017. To evaluate the effect of treatment, tumor markers (carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)), Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1, and overall survival were checked. Adverse events were evaluated according to the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) version 5.0. Results: After 12 months with the combination treatment, levels of CA19-9 were decreased from 8747 to 265.7 ng/ml and CEA from 42.2 to 6.5 U/ml. Clinical partial response state was shown until May 2, 2017 and stable disease state was maintained from August 4, 2017. In March 2018, the patient got an operation including pancreatectomy and diagnosed with no evidence of disease state in September, 2018. In conclusion, it showed the overall survival of 29 months from June, 2016 to November, 2018. Serious adverse events were not identified. Conclusions: This study suggested that combined treatment with modified Bangam-tang and Gunchil-dan may show better outcome in patient with metastatic pancreatic cancer than gemcitabine alone.

        겹치기 마찰교반접합 된 Al6061/HT590 합금의 기계적 특성 평가

        This study was carried out to evaluate mechanical properties of the jointed Al6061/HT590 alloys by friction stir welding (FSW). FSW was conducted under the conditions with tool rotating speed of 500 RPM and traveling speed of 300 mm/min., where Ar gas was introduced to prevent the materials from corrosion during the welding process. Electron back-scattering diffraction (EBSD) was used to characterize microstructures such as grain size, misorientation angle and crystal orientation. Evolution of intermetallic compounds in Al6061 during the process were examined in terms of morphology, size and aspect ratio at three distinct zones Al base material, heat affected zone and stir zone, where transmission electron microscope (TEM) was used. It was revealed that FSW gave rise to refinement of grains as well as growth of intermetallic compounds in Al6061. The morphological changes of intermetallic compounds exerted an influence on mechanical properties, resulting in occurrence of fracture in the part of the base material instead of the jointed parts (heat affected zone and stir zone). This study systematically evaluated the microstructural evolutions during the FSW for joining Al6061 with HT590 and their effect on mechanical properties.

        복막투석 환자에서 발생한 Baclofen 뇌증 1예

        Baclofen (β-4-chlorophenyl-γ-aminobutyric acid), a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) derivative, is commonly used for relief of spinal-origin spasm or pain. Baclofen is eliminated predominantly by the kidneys, putting patients with impaired renal function at particular risk for baclofen accumulation. The authors report on a case of baclofen-induced encephalopathy in a patient on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). A 56 year old patient with ESRD on CAPD was admitted due to stuporous mental status after baclofen treatment. Brain imaging showed no specific abnormality. After intensive treatment of CAPD for 3 days, neurologic abnormality was completely recovered. Baclofen should not be recommended for patients with renal dysfunction. Although the best-known treatment choice for baclofen toxicity is hemodialysis, intensive CAPD can also be considered as an option for treatment of baclofen toxicity.
