To develop the tailor made rice flour products for consumers with increasing functionality of pine needles, rice cupcakes were prepared with adding different contents of pine needle powder (PP) and extract (PE, by pressing pine needle). The physicochemical, textural, sensory properties, and antioxidative activities of rice cupcakes were investigated. The antioxidative activities of rice cupcakes with PP and PE were higher than those of the control and were significantly different with adding pine needle type (PP or PE). The specific volume of rice cupcakes increased with adding PP and PE, except for 10 g PP added cupcake. Textural properties were also significantly different with pine needle types and contents. On the sensory preference test data, the scores of the teens, the twenties, and the thirties were higher in PP added rice cupcakes (3 and 5 g added), but those in the forties, the fifties, and above the sixties were higher in PE added rice cupcakes (3 g added). From these above results, the PP addition improved the processing quality of rice cupcakes (under 10 g added), but reduced unique flavor of pine needle. It was suggested that rice products added with pine needle would be developed to consider consumer's age, type of pine needle and its content.

Currently, Busan Subway have been used by 900 thousands of people a day on average, and also will continue to be increased of lines and stations. In the case of transfer stations, linking different routes, have complex plane structure. So they should be provided an appropriate information and an comfort available to the subway. Specially the environmental color play a role as the environmental information. The purpose of this study is to investigate line’s color, and interior color of Busan Subway’s transfer station. For this study we took subway stations picture and analyzed colors using Korea Standard Color Analysis (KSCA) program. Summary of the finding of this study is as follows: First, as a result of comparison of subway station’s environmental color among Busan Subway’s transfer stations, the use of hues of interior colors in most interior color of subway platforms appeared as being limited to group ‘YR’, ‘Y’, ‘PB’ and ‘achromatic color’. Second, this study found out that each transfer passageway’s hues is similar regardless of transfer passageway’s path length. Third, according to Subway Passenger satisfaction survey, 61 % of the passengers surveyed responded that they had difficulty wayfinding to the transfer passageway. Fourth, Symbolic function, Identification function, and Physical function should be considered important in the subway line colors.
솔잎분말과 생즙을 첨가한 쌀 마들렌의 항산화성과 품질 특성

솔잎의 기능성을 부여한 쌀가루 가공 제품을 개발하기 위하여 동결건조 한 솔잎분말과 압착에 의한 솔잎생즙을 각각 첨가하여 쌀 마들렌을 제조하였고 이화학적, 텍스쳐 및 관능평가를 실시하였으며 제품의 항산화 활성을 비교하였다. 솔잎을 첨가한 제품의 항산화 활성이 대조군에 비해 높음을 확인하였고, 같은 소재의 솔잎도 첨가되는 물질의 상태가 달라 제품의 품질에 유의적인 영향을 주었다. 마들렌의 비체적은 솔잎분말을 첨가하였을 때를 제외하고 모두 증가하였으며 텍스쳐도 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 쌀 마들렌의 선호도는 솔잎분말 첨가 제품이 더 좋게 평가되었다. 위의 결과 솔잎의 향과 맛을 가지고 항산화 활성이 있는 솔잎 쌀 마들렌을 제조하려면 솔잎분말을 쌀가루에 대해 0.6~1.8%, 솔잎생즙 0.6% 첨가한 것이 전체적인 선호도가 높았으며 그중 솔잎향과 전체적인 맛이 높은 쌀 마들렌은 솔잎분말을 쌀가루에 대해 1.2% 첨가하는 것임을 알 수 있었다. To develop health functional gluten-free rice madeleines added with pine needle, rice flours were prepared by adding different contents (0.6, 1.2, and 1.8% on rice flour basis) of freeze-dried pine needle powder (PP) and extract (PE, by pressing pine needles). The preparation, textural and sensory properties, and antioxidative activities of rice madeleines were investigated. The antioxidative activities of rice madeleines added with PP and PE were higher than those of the control and were significantly different from each other. The specific volume of rice madeleines added with PE was higher than that added with PP. Lightness and yellowness decreased with increasing PP or PE content, whereas redness showed the reverse trend. Textural properties were also significantly different according to pine needle type and content. Hardness values of rice madeleines added with 1.2 and 1.8% PP or 1.2% PE were reduced compared to that of control. Hardness values increased while other textural properties decreased during storage. In the sensory test, color, flavor, and taste scores increased with increasing PP or PE contents, whereas flavor and overall quality scores were highest in rice madeleine added with 1.2% PP. Based on these results, pine needle powder addition improved antioxidative activities and overall quality.

The purpose of this study aims to find improvement points by investigating and analyzing the characteristic of index of greenness inside residential space, and use the result as basic data for constituents of interior landscape model for improvement index of greenness of residential space. The sample size was 65 households in South Korea. The results of this study were as follows; First, the interior landscape of residential space was found to be installed only in a specific space such as living room. Second, most of the respondents said that the range of greenness should be calculated including flowerpot/planter or more. Third, the average rate of greenness was about 10% and the average rate of subjective greenness was about 15%.

This study aims to find improvement points by investigating and analyzing the characteristic of interior landscape installation inside Busan subway stations space, and use the result as basic data for constituents of interior landscape model for improving index of greenness of subway stations space. For the aforementioned, this study made a visit to 20 targeted subway stations and took photos of the present conditions of landscape inside interior space, measuring interior landscape installation area using a tape measure, and investigated growing environment by using thermometer·hygrometer and illuminometer. For collected data, this study analyzed index of greenness and interior landscape using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and SPSS Statistics 25 which is a statistical analysis program. The results are as follows. First, for improvement of the index of greenness of subway stations space, it is necessary to design light conditions of interior space as 500lx or above, and for plants, it is also necessary to consider species that can be grown at 5℃ or below. Second, it would be desirable to create interior landscape using the method of relaxation style or complex style for enabling visitors to use pleasantly and conveniently. Third, it is necessary to make interior be harmonized with plants using ornament and facility made of natural materials. Fourth, more active landscaping methods such as tree planting type and hanging type can be introduced considering scale and shape of space where landscaping is available inside subway stations. This study made comprehensive investigation and analysis on the characteristic of interior landscape according to the types after classifying subway stations space as 4 types depending on the physical characteristics of environment (shape, area and the degree of congestion of subway stations), which is considered significant in the way that it has set the direction for improvement of interior landscape environment for qualitative improvement of the index of greenness, and is expected to be used as basic data for planning and improvement of interior landscape inside subway stations space.

Senior welfare centers used by the elderly perform their activities mostly indoors and implement diverse programs and so they need to have an effective color environment plan fitting each spatial trait. Thus, this study examined color environment of three senior welfare centers located in Busan city and sought to analyze importance and performance of users using IPA method. Results are as follows: First, in terms of total color environment, YR or Y group colors accounted for 78% of aggravate color components, showing that composition of color environment in senior welfare centers are limited. Second, in terms of color environment by space function, additional color applications might be required: B group colors for computer rooms; GY or BG group for halls; G or BG group for physical therapy departments; GY group for restaurants and lobbies; GY or B group for lounges; B or BG group for counselling rooms. Third, as a result of IPA Matrix by the facility, A and C facility had safety function in II quadrant, needing the top urgent improvement. While, B facility didn’t have any function in II quadrant but had safety function in III quadrant, showing the need for improvement of the facilities as well as user’s gradual cognitive change.
