        기내배양법을 이용한 소나무속 5개 수종의 NaCl 내성에 대한 변이

        기내배양법을 이용하여 임목생리 유전적 내성의 선발에 대한 가능성을 검정하였다. 침엽수 배양에 많이 사용되는 G.D. 기본 배지에 NaCl 농도 100, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000ppm을 첨가한 서로 다른 배지에 소나무, 해송, 잣나무, 리기다, 리기테다의 배를 62일간 배양, 幼根의 생육상태에 따른 耐性指數를 산출하였다. 그 결과 5개 수종 전부 1,000, 5,000ppm 에서는 생육이 심히 억제되었으며, 10,000ppm에서 생존한 수종은 하나도 없었다. 단, 리기테다와 해송은 100ppm에서 무처리보다 높은 생장율을 나타냈다. 이상의 결과는 기내배양법을 이용하여 특수 물질의 내성에 대한 선발 가능성을 보여준 것으로 생각된다.

        잣나무의 기내배양에 관한 연구 . Ⅱ. Callus 세포의 염색체변이

        Excised mature embryos of P. koraiensis were plated on a series of G.D. basic media supplemented with growth regulators as follow; 0.1 ㎎/ℓ NAA(M-1); 0.1 ㎎/ℓ NAA and 2,4-D (M-2); 0.1 ㎎/ℓ 2,4-D and BAP (M-3); 0.1 ㎎/ℓ 2,4-D and kinetin (M-4). Cytological study of the callus showed that thercentage of occurrance of diploid cells was observed 52% in M-3 and 36% in M-4, while that was revealed 29% in M-1 and 17% in M-1. The frequency of diploid cells was increased on the M-3 and M-4 media. The stable chromosome state is a crucial factor for organogenesis. Therefore, it can be inferred that the callus tissues cultured on media supplemented with both auxin and cytokinin have the greatest possibility of organogenesis.

        초류 (草類) 및 목본식물의 (木本植物) 몇가지 종자형질에 대한 Soft X-ray 의 이용

        Soft X-ray photography was used to study some characters of seeds, such as fullness, damage by blight and harmful insects and degree of mechanical damages, degree of development of embryos and endosperms, size and position of cotylendons, existence and position of twin seed. Thirty nine species of woody plants (31 angiosperms and 8 gymnosperms)and four species of herbs were examined in this study. The results showed that through the mechanism of the selective sensitivity of seed structure of soft X-ray, seed characters mentioned above could be recognized regardless of size of seeds and thickness of seed coat. We concluded that it is possible to use soft X-ray photography reliably to find out the various characters of seeds.

        조경수목에 (造景樹木) 의한 공해방지에 관한 연구 - 특히 남부지역을 중심으로 -

        These studies were carried out to know the measure of damage having an effect on the ornamental trees owing to sulfurous acid gas(So₂)which injures much forest trees among air pollutions in south area of Korean and to know the difference of smoke resistance on the five representative species among them and therefore to establish the preventive measure of air pollutions in industrial complex of south area of Korea by the ornamental trees. The reaction formula utilized was Na₂So₂+H₂So₄ Na₂So₄+H₂O+So₄. The results obtained were as follows. 1) The ornamental trees surveyed in the industrial complexes of Ul-San, Chang-Won and Po-hang belonged to 51 species, 161,699 trees in all. The most five species among 51 sorts of woody plants were Populus tomentiglandulosa, Buxus microphylla, Forsythia korenan, Juniperus chinensis and Pinus densiflora. 2) The relation between the concentration of sulfurous acid gas(So₂) and the damage rate upon investigation in each species: In case of low concentration the destructive quantities of cells of woody plants, and the more increased the concentrations, the more increased the amount of damage. 3) The difference of smoke resistance among five species showed to be the strongest in Buxus micorphylla, the second rand Pupulus tomentiglandulosa, the third rand Forsythia koreana, the fourth rank Juniperus chinensis and the weakest in Pinus densiflora. 4) The ornamental trees of industrial complex expecially in south area of Korea in future should be planted gradually broad-leaved trees which have strong sprout, smoke resistance and thick leaved rather than comifers. 5) I think that the area of city forest in industrial complex requires about 50㎡ per head of population and about 100m width of green belt between industrial area and residential district.

      • 알기생벌(Trichogramma dendralimi Matumura)을 이용한 밤나무 해충의 1種인 옥색산누에나방의 생물적 방제연구

        본 연구는 밤나무해충의 1종인 옥색산누에나방(Actias artemis aliene Butler)의 생물적 방제에 알기생벌인 Trichogramma dendrolimi Matumur의 활용가능성을 검토할 목적으로 1995년 서부경남지방의 밤나무 재배단지에서 수행하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 2. 옥색산누에나방의 알에 기생하는 벌의 종류는 T. dendrolimi 단일종이였으며 그 기생율 범위는 0.3∼7.1%였다. 2. T. dendrolimi의 성충 평균수명은 암컷이 6.4일, 숫컷은 3.5일이였고, 평균산란 기간은 3.2일, 평균산란수는 83.6개로 각각 나타났다. 그리고 1세대 발육기간은 28℃∼30℃에서 12.7일이였다. 3. 포장에서 옥색산누에나방의 산란 peak는 4월하순과 7월하순 등 년중 2회였다. 4. 저곡해충인 화랑곡나방(Sitotroga cerealella)의 알을 대용기주(代用寄主)로 이용하여 알기생벌인 T. dendrolimi의 대량 생산이 가능하였다. 5. 옥색산누에나방 방제에 활용된 Egg-card(10×10cm) 1장에는 약 7,000마리의 T. dendrolimi 알기생벌이 기생되어있다. 산란시기에 맞추어서 밤나무 포장에 반경 2m, 4m, 8m 설치했을 때 그 기생율은 92.0%, 89.3% 및 44.7%였고 또한 방제효과는 94.5%, 93.6% 및 47.6%였다. The biological control of Actias artemis aliena Butler (ARL) and insect pest of chestnut tree with egg parasite, Thrichogramma dendrolimi Matumura were investigated at west Gyeongnam province, Korea in 1995. The T. dendrolimi was a drominant parasitoid of ARL with 0.3∼7.1% parasitism in Chinju, Hadong and San-Cheong area surveyed. The life spans of T. dendrolimi were 6.4 and 3.5 days 12.7 days at 28∼30℃. An average number of eggs oviposited was 83.6 per female. Egg laying of ARL showed two peaks, that is late April and late July in field. T. dendrolimi was mass produced on paper card deposited with Sitotroga cerealella eggs, and alternative host and about 7,000 parasitoids were emerged. The egg parasitisms of ARL were 92.0%, 83.9% and 44.7% when the egg-cards(10×10cm) were placed in the field by 2m, 4m and 8m distances, respectively. And control value of ARL were 94.5%, 93.6% and 47.6% wen the egg-card were placed in the field by 2m, 4m, and 8m distances, respectively.

      • 벗나무 種子의 發芽와 성분에 미치는 온도의 影響

        The seed of Prunus campanulata, growing wild in Japan shows a low germination percentage and the natural seedlings do not occur often. It seems to the authors that this may be attributed to germination temperature, storage temperature, or chemical components. The causality in the cherry seeds, including Prunus yedoensis seed from Chinju district, was investigated. Optimum temperature for the germination of Prunus campanulata seed was obtained at 7℃ in the preliminary experiment. After the storage of both seeds at 7℃, 20℃, and 30℃ during the period of four months, the germination(at 7℃) and the chemical components of seeds (oil, sugar, and protein) were tested. The oil content showed a positive, high correlation to the germination percentage, but the contents of sugars and protein did not. The germination percentage is presumably possible to be estimated from the change in the oil content in the seed.
